5K Solar PV

I have a 5K PV system which was installed March 2010. Since that initial installation, the system has generated 53,000 KWh which is a savings of $7,200 off my electric bill. We average 25 KWh / day. My electric has been cut to less than half - about 4 months a year I have no electric bill. Love the discount and the effort to be green.

The Superior Solar did a great work. From the early phase of calculating the correct size of solar panels to installation and after sales. We are very happy with the results. My last bill was close to ZERO for energy. I only had to pay Gov. Fees. Nick Arceneaux quoted us a fair and honest price for the replacement of solar panels for our swimming pool. Of course, at the time we decided to replace the solar panels, a huge storm (unexpected on that day) came through and the installation was delayed due to weather extremes. However, Jason and Chase came through as soon as the weather was safe and made sure that the panels were installed and working well. Nick came back and made certain we knew how to operate the system to get the best warm water for our pool as we could. I'm very satisfied

My wife and I had our system installed in early March. After a few minor delays, mostly due to my power company shuffling their feet on getting us our new meter, our system went live for good on March 17th. I have to say this process was far more pleasant than I had expected. Throughout the process, Ellsworth, the Superior Solar rep we worked with, was incredibly helpful, and unlike a few of the other companies we looked at, he did a very good job of explaining not only what the products did, but why one might be superior to another in a given situation. The service made my wife and I feel like we were in good hands. The total installation lasted for a noisy two days. The workers were polite and respectful, and if they were annoyed or put-off by my constant questions, they never let it on. I'd definitely recommend Superior Solar systems to my friends, and in fact, already have.

The best to work with

Wow. True professionals. From the sales guy (Sam Smith) to the installers (Jason R. was crew leader) these guys were on point. Well priced, but even better service. Pool has climbed out of low 70s every monring to (going to check now) 88.5 right now.... That's just one week. That's with only 5 Panels installed. The installer was even able to save me $400 by reusing my existing controller AWESOME!!!! Solar Panels Doing The Job

Superior Solar did an excellent job on explaining our options and how the system would operate. The installation took only one day and the workers did an excellent job on the install. They explained what they were doing and how the system would operate. When they were done they made sure everything was cleaned up. Superior Solar then contacted the electrical inspector and when the inspection was complete Duke energy was contacted by Superior Solar to install bi-directional meter. An enjoyable customer Service experience

This comment is in reference to the buying and installation process with Superior Solar. I interviewed several companies and the customer service and responses from Superior Solar were always better than the competition. It took us 4 months to say yes and they were patient throughout. We purchased a system which included solar electricity and solar water for our home. The install went very well and through it all - we felt appreciated and respected with our questions and any concerns for a huge learning curve on our part. Thank you for being a company that understands customer service. I will add to this post after a few months of the system running.

We've been only pleased with them

Superior Solar installed our pool panels years ago when it was built, so we contacted them when it was time for our insurance company to replace our roof after hail damage. They took them off/put them back up with no problems. And they were the first company we contacted when we wanted a photovoltaic array. Their prices were competitive, and we had only good experiences with them—so they are who we chose. Our 32 panels have been producing for two months now, and are well on their way to achieving the production guarantee that SS offers. They have gone out of their way to make sure we're up on the monitoring site, and we are LOVING seeing daily/monthly how much electricity we're generating, and of course, the MUCH lower electricity bills!

After we replaced our roof in 2015, we decided this would be a great time to explore the feasibility of installing a solar electric system. Our roofer recommended that we call Nick Arceneaux with Universal Solar. Nick visited with us several times to design the PV system that best suited our needs. Residential Solar Electric Exceeded Expectations

After we decided to pursue a solar electric PV system to reduce our environmental impact and initially researched the topic, we chose Universal Solar to design, install, and commission our new 28 panel, 8.7 kW grid-tied system. The system design specialist, Nick Arceneaux (NABCEP certified), was professional, very knowledgeable, and patient (3 hours!) with understanding our vision and providing a corresponding proposal. Once we made our decision, he was always available and very responsive for questions and status updates during all phases of the project. The lead time for the order and permitting phase exactly matched Nick's original estimate; therefore, the installation started without delays. Hot Water Solar

We recently had Nick Arceneaux come out and give us a quote on a Solar Hot Water system. We decided to proceed because we thought it was a fair price, we really needed to replace an old Fafco system the previous homeowners installed, and had worked with Nick in the past on a pool solar install and were very pleased. Jason Reale and Chase Aboud were our installers and they did great. They quickly realized that the previous system was not even installed correctly due to the pitch of the roof and made a much better call on roof position to still give us optimum sun exposure and proper install. Nick even made another trip out to answer some questions we had about the system. Superior Solar on the House

This was a great experience on getting solar panels, pool pump and a new solar attic fan installed. From Sales, to the Installers, to the front office -this entire team was on point and has been superb. The quality was evident from Day 1, as they aptly named their company, "Superior" Solar. I really liked how they informed me on exactly what to expect, from the permitting process, to equipment installation, to obtaining a new bi-directional meter from the power company. Its a joy to watch my meter run in reverse :) and to know that I am making a difference on diminishing the use of fossil fuels (let's get this dependency down to zero or at least negligible). I now look at roof tops in a completely different mindset, ie you could be doing Solar and contributing to a cleaner environment just like me. I also plan to do an 'open house' Solar Party that Superior makes available on each new customer install. My brother is in the Solar business in CA and they are light years ahead of the Sunshine state :(. Perhaps my next goal is to get a job in the industry, perhaps with this "Superior" organization. let the sunshine in!

We wanted to be more independent from the electric company so a battery back up grid tie system seemed like the way to go. We spoke to few companies in the area about getting a system installed, most of them didn't seem to informed or motivated to do the job until I spoke to Sam at Universal Solar. Sam was motivated and well informed about the products they had to offer and after several phone calls and a few meetings we decided on the battery back up grid tie system. With Chris's expert over seeing the installation setup and commissioning of the system to it's completion, we now feel quite independent ,now if and when the grid goes down we won't. Thanx Richard for tying up the loose ends and finalizing financing and the installation. Great People, Great Company, Great Service!!!!

I had Superior Solar install both a variable speed pump/suntouch controller for my pool and a solar hot water tank. I was out of town when my wife had a problem with the clarity of the water. David was there the next morning and taught her how to work the system. About 3 years later we had several cloudy days and electric back system didn't seem to be working. Called David on his cell at 7PM and he called right back walked me thru a few trouble shooting areas and once again back on line. Can't say enough good things about this company. By the way, electric bill has dropped considerably!!!

Solar Source installed 7.25 kilowatts of photovoltaic solar, 60 gallons of solar hot water, solar attic ventilation and radiant barrier on my home in April of 2015. Since then I have enjoyed zero and extremely low power bills. Couldn't be happier enjoying savings and supporting renewable energy.
