Solar Source - The Solar Experts

Dave was easy to work with. He explained the process of installing our pool heater and how to optimize it. He was able to work with our pool contractor and be on schedule. He followed up after installation and answered questions while we were getting to know our system. The installation crew was quick, knowledgeable and helpful.

When I received the cost to fixed the leaks in my 6 year old pool solar system, I was about to abandoned the system in place. However, after spending some time discussing the system with BJ, the field technician, and learning a little bit more about the annual inspection plan, I decided to continue maintaining the system. Great all-round service! Thanks BJ, Shawn, and Ally.

Happy customer

I normally don't write reviews, but after the outstanding experience I had with Solar Source, I felt compelled to share my thoughts.  Before making my decision, I received quotes from approximately six different solar companies. After doing extensive research, I narrowed my choices down to two companies that both offered high quality solar panels and inverters with excellent reputations. The pricing was very similar, so the deciding factor came down to customer service. What ultimately convinced me to choose solar source was my experience with their energy specialist Nick Arceneaux. During the quoting process, I requested a revision to my system specs and needed an updated quote. Even though Nick was on vacation, he took the time to respond to my text messages and make sure I had everything I needed. That level of dedication spoke volumes about his commitment to his customers. I'm happy to say that commitment didn't end once the sale was complete. Nick and the entire Solar Source team guided me though every step of the process - from financing and permits to insurance requirements and coordinating with the power company. They made what could have been a complicated process feel straightforward and stress free. I also want to recognize the installation team. They handled the installation in a professional organized , and efficient manner, and the quality of their workmanship was evident throughout the project. If you value attention to detail, outstanding customer service, and a company that stands behind its customers from begging to end, I highly recommend Solar Source. My experience exceeded my expectations, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

The process was very easy and convenient. Mustafa walked me through everything and was very patient while I worked on getting the HOA approval I was anxious about. Once it was obtained, I was scheduled within two weeks. The installation took about three hours, and by the next day...yes, the very next day...my pool was noticeably warmer. So amazing. Thank you!

Great service

This is concerning our water panels for the pool. Been using this company for 23 years, original install, re-roof (remove and reinstall), 2nd re-roof (remove and replace). the original panels lasted 23 years without incidence. Installers were on time, explained everything, how the new control panel worked. Professional, pleasant, proficient....

Outstanding Company!

After extensive research, I chose Solar Source for my pool solar system, and it was absolutely the right decision. From the initial consultation to the final installation, their team maintained consistent communication and professionalism throughout the entire process. There was never any high-pressure sales—just clear, honest information about the services they provide. Nick, the sales representative, was exceptional. His knowledge about pool systems and solar solutions really stood out—far beyond what I’ve experienced with others in the past. It’s rare to find someone in sales who truly understands the technical side as well as he does. I’ve worked with other companies before, and none came close to the level of expertise and service that Solar Source delivered. They not only completed the job efficiently but also went above and beyond to address additional issues that needed attention. I highly recommend Solar Source to anyone considering solar work. They truly exceed expectations.

On time, good price, good work

Job was to replace the 6 solar pool panels that had worn out after 15 years. Completed 6 weeks ago. Very pleased with the new Helicol panels, and the little extras that were included. Shimmed up the feed pipes to allow better drainage. Bundled the wires to clean up the timer and controls. Fixed a leaking flow valve as an extra. Impressed with both the company and the skilled staff who did the work. Really nice job. No leaks so far. Note the system size below is non sequitur. This was pool water heating, not PV so no KW actually available.

I had a miner issue with solaredge monitoring system. Call Nick (my original salesman from Solar Sourse 2018) him and Ali came up with a solution and resolved the issue in a very timely fashion y o my total satisfaction!! Thank you both!!!!

Very happy with this company!!

From sales to the installers, we had a great experience. We were delayed but that was mostly due to our county inspector.

Professional Company

Had a great experience with Solar Source. Our sales person Stephen was honest, not pushy, thorough and had excellent follow-up. Was impressed by the installers and quality of work.

Excellent service

As always great service and nice company to deal with. Always professional and keep you up to date with the arrival of their technicians. Beau did an excellent job on the repair of our solar pool system. Thank you all for being the Best!!

Outstanding experience with Solar Source

I have found Solar Source to be an excellent company for my solar rooftop array. My solar array was installed quite a few years ago by another company which I thought was great. Unfortunately that company went out of business and thankfully referred me to Solar Source. I have been extremely happy with my new relationship with Solar Source. They first inspected my existing solar system, determined my needed repairs after damage from Hurricane Milton, and gave me a quote. I was very happy with the subsequent repair work that Solar Source performed. They adjusted my estimate to properly reflect the actual repairs performed, and they did excellent work. I am very pleased to have Solar Source in my corner going forward for ongoing solar rooftop PV array maintenance as needed. It's a huge relief to me to find another solar company that I can trust and rely upon for their much needed expertise. I highly recommend Solar Source as a trustworthy solar provider. They came to my recue when I really needed them, delivered top notch service, and I am very glad to have found such a reputable company. !!!

Great Service

The technicians were very professional and answered my questions. They explained what they were doing to fix my issue.

Happy with Solar Source

The installation was done was done as scheduled and on time. The installation team worked efficiently and keeping us informed of the progress. Hoping the Final Inspection will find that everything is as it should be. Waiting to see when the system is turned on and how it functions.

The solar experience start to finish

Equipment delay caused by Tesla , not Solar sources doing, other than getting stuck with a problematic supplier. Salesman, Dave Osborn was very knowledgeable and quite strait forward. Was very dependable returning updates and answers. Roof stallion crew from Orlando, headed by Mauricio, was fantastic. They installed 28 panels in 4hrs. Very efficient and cleaned up afterwards. The electricians working on the switch gear and batteries, completed hook up in 3 days. Very professional and neat. Cleaned up and answered questions and explained system operations so a layman could understand. Overall I would highly recommend Solar Source . They were not the least expensive, but you get what you pay for, in this case , a excellent job.

Hurricane Milton

Lost our old system during Milton. Stephen Corry did a great job getting our quote and explaining the new system. We were put on the schedule quickly and the installers did a professional installation. The new panels seem to do a better job than the old ones. The Heliocoil panels are great! Would recommend this company to anyone looking for a new system.

solar pool heater hurricane repair

scheduling more than met my expectations for a quick fix. Technician was on time, courteous, knowledgeable, and most important very efficient. His work was completed in less time than I expected, and everything is up and running as it was before the hurricane. Can’t say enough about the response and service that I received from solar source

for the last four years this company has done a great job

Solar Pool

The Solar Source team who installed our system did an excellent job They walked us through how the system worked I highly recommend this company!

Top notch Service

David Spanier gave us top notch service and hard to beat price. His exceptional friendly service and attention to detail in meeting our needs was impressive. He was by far the best service personnel we have ever met. He delivered as he promised and promptly answered all our messages and calls. Five star service indeed. We can now enjoy our pool until late evening. What a treat!

Great service

Mustafa and David went above and beyond my service expectations.

The single best company we've worked with EVER

When Tesla won't return your calls or offer a system to fit your needs... When the other guys want to give you a quote without coming to your house... You go with Solar Source because they came right out, explained all of our options clearly, gave us proper quotes after surveying the house and our needs, and have been the single most professional company of ANY we have worked with in the state. From sales to installation these guys have done everything right by us, have done it as they promised, have done it on time, and (best of all) have done everything correctly. No shortcuts taken, this is how professionals do things the right way. Two thumbs up.

Solar Source

I would recommend Solar Source and all their staff to anyone looking for solar. From my initial inquiry to the final install, all of it went flawless and without hiccups. Mustafa our assigned solar consultant was thorough expalining the entire process from A-Z. All of the staff answer my calls, emails, and texts within hours of my inquiry. They use all current tech and installation techniques to make it a safe and sound process.

Very professional. Great updates on all the processes and on time.

Professional, cordial, successful and timely

I recently had a my Duke Energy electricity supply re-routed from an overhead line to an underground line. Solar Source assisted Duke Energy on this swap, because it was the necessary prelude to Solar Source installing solar panels on the roof of my house. In the process, Solar Source's Engineer, Shawn Workman, was most cordial and thoroughly professional. Before mounting the solar panels, Solar Source installed a new roof on my house. Their crews were on schedule; they worked efficiently, and their results met or exceeded all of my expectations. Field Supervisor, Cassidy Richter, exhibited the same fine qualities as Shawn Workman. So did Ben Piper, Solar Source’s Residential Sales Director, with whom I contracted the work. The high calibre of Solar Source’s personnel was a prime factor in the successful and timely completion of my project.

Additional solar Panels

Solar Source added 12 panels to the 20 we already had. They did a professional job. The new panels are producing 20kw+ on a daily basis. There is one small niggling problem with one of the screens on the enphase site which shows daily output. It appears that this minor issue is the responsibility of Enphase, not Solar Source.
