Solar Source - The Solar Experts

Excellent

I was referred to Solar Source by a friend who lived around the block from me. I spoke to their salesman Bryan Hammond who has been working in the industry for several years. He was able to answer all 50 questions I had and gave me honest answers. The company also has a good resume of several projects they have worked on in the past. After looking up their background, the company has been around for several years so I knew they must be making customers happy. I have had the system for over a year now. I have not had one issue with the system nor have I have I had one complaint about their service. They do all the leg work taking care of permits and even help with the financing term matching you up with banks they work with. I will never go back to using the electric company again.

Great to work with

From the start of the project to net meter operational, they were excellent to work with. Bryan Hammond explained the process, and the whole team performed flawlessly. Save the planet, save money, go solar. Call Bryan

Exceeded Expectations

Heliocol system is fantastic. Pool water is still at 87 degrees on October 25 - even with clouds and some rain.

Excellent solar experience

I joined the Seminole Country solar Co-Op and was able to get what I felt was a great price for my 15.64 KWH solar system. I spent almost an entire year researching solar and met with several different solar companies. The people at Superior Solar were very helpful and patient with answering all my questions and explaining how everything works. They kept me updated on the installation process and had no problems or delays. I felt confident choosing them because of their reviews online and their 35 years of experience. From the first day of installing the panels, it only took 23 days to pass all inspections, have my meter switched, and have the panels turned on. Other solar friends have told me they waited much longer than that, so I’m pleasantly surprised.

Awesome!!!!!

What a great product and experience. I have been wanting a EV system for years. To say that I did a lot of research would be an understatement. With that being said I finally decided on Superior Solar Systems. My salesman and point of contact is Kris Vandiver. He was the reason that I chose Superior Solar in the end. He is knowledgeable, honest and promptly gets back to you for any questions or issues. From the moment he made the sales visit I knew I had found the correct company. The process of putting in the panels can be tiresome experience but not with Superior Solar. From the beginning they explained the many steps in the process and how long it would take. They were spot on. The construction crew was courteous, caring, professional and made sure everything was done perfectly. I had looked at many jobs from other companies and I can easily say that Superior Solar did a "superior" job. I have had my system for 7 months now. My bill from Duke Energy has been $10.90 every month, including the peak electrical use months of the summer. I couldn't be happier. I very rarely write reviews but felt that Superior Solar deserved my time for this recommendation. To set the record straight, I have not or will not receive anything for this review. Furthermore, I was never even asked to write a review by Superior Solar but felt that other people should know what a great company Superior Solar is. Thanks again, Rick Frankel

Second system at new house...outstanding service

This was our second PV and solar pool heater install. The first time at our old house was great, this time they have taken the process to a new level. Everything about this company is top notch. The salesman was great. the installers were great and the administrative staff was nothing short of the best I have ever experienced. I have already recommended them to other family members as well as several other friends.

Great Experience

I did a fair amount of research on Solar providers before calling Superior Solar. i can confirm they were a great company to work with. The installation and process was smooth and they were very professional. The system is doing exactly what they said it would do in the projections they provided. We have the panels for 6 months and could not be happier.

Very happy Superior Solar Systems

Purchased our solar PV system from Superior Solar Systems after getting five estimates from various companies. The process was very easy. The salesman (Ernie) was on time to all appointments and called if was going to be early. The sales "pitch" was straight forward and everything he said was provided in writing which he reviewed with us before we signed. I also got an energy efficient pool pump and new pool solar panels from SSS. SSS was very responsive to any calls I made to them and if they didn't have the answer they promptly called me back. There is a bit of waiting to get the system up and running waiting for permitting, inspections and Duke Energy to swap out the meter. All of this was explained up front. The installers and electricians were very friendly and answered all of our questions. The city hires an engineer to do their inspection and when he inspected the system he said "they did a very good job".

Good Choice!

Solar Source did a very professional job installing solar panel for my pool. I would highly recommend this company.

Great Company

From the very first meeting through the final installation this team was the ultimate in professional level.

These people know solar

Solar Source is a top-notch solar installation company in the greater Tampa Bay Area. They did an excellent job, from the beginning to the end. They’re professional and do first rate work at a good price. Highly recommended.

Swimming Pool Solar

They responded quickly to our request. Came out next day, great product great prices. Got our system installed with no issues within 3 weeks. Had one very small drip they were out 20 minutes after I called and had it fixed in minutes! Highly recommend them! They were all awesome to work with! 10 stars!

First Class Operation

The solar system process went very smoothly and quickly, from the HOA approval, to permits to install to inspection and to meter install. We were kept informed at all times on what was to happen next and with follow up service.

I Love Superior Solar

Superior Solar was excellent during the whole process. We reached out to three companies and choose Superior and are happy with the decision. The other bidders were Tesla and Goldin (which was part of a Solar Coop). One of the key advantages for us is the one stop shop with Superior. The job included moving an existing pool solar system and installing the electric solar system. Thanks Ernie Gomez and thanks superior solar!

Danner Solar Electric and Pool Solar

Superb! From the initial planning to the installation and switchover to solar power - everything was excellent. Ben Piper and his team explained all that would be required after taking measurements and reviewing my power needs. They were courteous, clear with planning and financing descriptions, and they followed up with me whenever I had questions. The total cost will be reduced by 30% thanks to government tax breaks on solar electric installations. The installation was fast. This enables monthly payments over 12 years to be in line with average past/current Duke Energy payments. The only slow down was waiting for the power company to complete their end of the effort to get to switchover. It is exciting to be able to monitor the electrical output and equipment on line by phone and by computer. I am very happy with the result. It is wonderful to be a solar power user and to know that I am not only saving money, I am helping the environment. (Note that I also had my pool solar panels replaced by Superior Solar and am extremely happy with Felix and the work that was done)

Superior Solar Array

Superior Solar is a great company to work with. Our array is (at present) the largest ground mounted array in Orange County Florida. The installation was done professionally and completely. Superior Solar held our hands as we went through the long and tedious process of getting a County variance and supported us all the way. They made interaction with Duke Energy easy. We have now received our third Duke Energy billing where we have generated more than we consumed. It doesn't get better than that.

Great company, very professional

We are very happy with our experience having Superior Solar install our solar panels, hybrid water heater and new pool pump. Kris was always available to answer my questions and emails. He was polite and patient with me. For a while it seemed nothing was happening, but Kris assured me plans were being approved and permits acquired. The installation crew were professional and polite. We now have 40 panels, our only problem is it's been cloudy and rainy since we fully became solar 2 weeks ago. I would definitely suggest this company to family and friends.

What took me so long?

Worked with Jose at Superior Solar. The entire experience was easy and well explained. Came home from vacation to a heated pool and we've been in it every day since! We should have done it sooner-- now we are really enjoying our investment!

Fantastic Company All Around

Great company to deal with in every way. Not pushy on sales, gave me tons of info, and really knew their stuff. I would easily go back to them for any thing else. Their install turned out better looking than I could ever imagine too.

Super Solar

My electric bill has gone from $190.00 a month to $2.00 a month. I'm sure that if I lived anywhere but Lakeland my bill would be even better, but the electric company here charges me a premium rate because I have solar. Non-the less I am very satisfied with the outcome.

Superior Service

We compared solar companies and their product, and Heliocol solar panels had the best reputation for endurance. We've lived in our house for 16 years and our neighbors have Superior Solar Panels and they've never had any problems with them, where we had multiple problems with our former system, which was very old, but also was not Heliocol solar, so it was a no-brainer. Their service was excellent and they did the work within a very short time and we didn't have to be at home while it was done, which was better for my husband and I. I would highly recommend David Spanier at Superior Solar Systems.

Great system

We love the solar system! Ha one rhe temperature warm up to being comfortable during spring break was awesome. We have swam in the pool almost everyday during the summer and look forward to many days into the fall. We are very pleased with the system and service we have received from superior solar.

Pool Solar

Ernie Gomaz was knowledgeable and pleasant. The install techs were efficient and friendly as well. Stron recommend.

Very Happy with Superior Solar and our Energy Savings

Superior Solar did a great job with both our solar water heater (years ago) and more recently with our solar electric panels. And, our latest electric bill for our 4,000 square foot home was only $9.41 (w/o any Duke Energy rebates since we received that months ago). So, we are super happy with our new solar electric panels.

Solar Source

Fantastic professional experience. I would strongly recommend this company. They did evrything that they said they would do in the exact time frame that they quoted.
