Excellent Solar company
I chose 8M for my solar project based on my neighbor’s experience with them and their competitive bid and presentation. The project was completed in a professional and timely manner. Their staff were friendly, well informed and all aspects of the project were well coordinated. Communication was excellent. There were 3 separate price revisions from the original bid due, according to 8M , to product availability. Overall very satisfied and would absolutely recommend you include them in your decision making process.

recent installation
I received 2 quotes and chose 8M Solar and asked a friend who has experience installing commercial systems to give me his opinion. Based on price & materials 8M used and the fact that they were local, he thought they would be an excellent company to work with. My system was installed in a timely and professional manner. There was some confusion about financing and I would not recommend the company 8M suggested. The tax credit & possible Duke rebate made the explanation of how the financing works extremely confusing. I've had numerous home mortgages over the years and trying to understand the solar financing was beyond frustrating. I finally worked it out but only after many phone conversations. I'm able to monitor my daily use and in the 4 weeks since installation I've saved $14, hopefully once Duke installs their meter it will be even more. I would have given 8M 5 stars if it weren't for the financing confusion.
