Back in Sept 2015, we started the process of selecting a solar panel company for our home. We met and received quotes from 6 different companies. Five of those quote were either by non-staff sales persons who were working on independent commissions and were obviously padding their quotes or when we did fact-checking with CPS concerning costs, timelines, etc...were proven to be just out-right lying to us. CAM Solar was the only company who provided accurate numbers to us and made no promises that they could not keep. We got our rebate from CPS which was immediately applied to our financing of the system we selected, got the loans for the remainder that we needed and then the install/turn on was very much in line with what CAM Solar staff stated. The actual install on the house itself only took 2-3 days. We did have a couple of issues with wifi connectivity which CAM Solar techs fixed, but that had absolutely no effect on actual solar production. The system is rated at 9.3kw, but realistically, it generates more like 8.4 peak on clear days. Take into account accumulation of dust on the panels, this is very reasonable.... read more
