Sam at Maine Solar Solutions did not arrive trying to sell me solar panels. He began by asking what my goals were with regard to my home's energy use. From there we looked at my historical and present energy use, house design, siting, and future plans. Maine Solar Solutions really felt like a partner in understanding, planning, and meeting my goal of reducing and leveling out future energy costs while reducing my carbon footprint. Unlike the other companies he asked a lot of questions and it was only after he carefully listened, answered, and asked more questions did he begin making suggestions for how he could help me achieve my goals. Sam and his crew did a great job of installing the solution. They were professional, clean, efficient, and still made time to answer any questions I had. And...the price was the best for what I wanted! Follow up for questions regarding managing the online monitoring, maintaining the heat pumps, and expanding the system to accommodate the addition of an electric car has been quick and helpful.
