Tesla Energy

We recently purchased a home with Solar Panels in place and took over the lease. We literally had to contact them to inquire how to begin paying the monthly lease. We were told that we would receive a "Welcome Call" within 6 weeks. We purchased the home on June 6, 2018. It is now September 21, 2018, and we have received absolutely no "Welcome Call". Prior to closing on the home, we had to threaten to take the Solar Panels off of the home (we had no agreement with Tesla at that point), once we were the home owners, in order for us to receive the necessary paperwork to close on the home. The representatives we have emailed with do not respond to emails until several emails are sent and numerous representatives are looped in. Tesla expects us to pay a $7.50 fee because we do not have automatic payments set up. However, after 10 attempts to call and have this set up the hold time is anywhere between 30 minutes and 1 hour. That is absolutely unacceptable for any business to have hold times like this. I NOT recommend Tesla to ANYONE. This customer service is worse than Comcast.... read more
