As newcomers to the northern San Diego County area, we were unaware of SDG&E's plan to change the Time of Use Net Metering Rates on December 1, 2017, and were also unaware of what that meant. We received notification of the change from Cosmic at the end of October and spoke with Bahram Shadzi who explained the change and how we might be grandfathered into the existing system. Installation of our solar system and Permission to Operate had to be achieved by November 30. Cosmic worked with our general contractor to quickly schedule installation of our solar system, and attain all necessary inspections and approvals by the November 30 deadline. Their office personnel were also very customer oriented and provided us with contacts at SDG&E when we ran into difficulties at the utility. If it wasn't for Cosmic and everyone there in the support chain, we never would have achieved the grandfathering. They went above and beyond in every way possible.... read more
