We considered 14 installers and opted for Edge Energy because (1) they had the kind of panels we wanted, (2) they are local, (3) their founder and CEO visited us personally and exuded professionalism and self-confidence, and (4) they had the highest customer satisfaction rating by people in our local solar cooperative. We were determined to go with Edge Energy and were willing to pay more for our system if necessary. As it turned out, the cost of our 17-panel 5.87kW installation was as good as or better than the competition. The permitting process went much quicker than anticipated. The Edge Energy installation crew was professional, polite, tidy and FAST completing the work in three hours! We wanted the best panel available on the market and that's what we got. It's tops in terms of efficiency and the warrantees offered by SunPower and Edge Energy (25 years on both the panels and the power they produce) are also the best available.... read more
