Ok, a little history......I had looked into solar for a couple of years and had got 4 bids from other companies. Most were big nationwide providers. I hated the "sales pitch" all four were similar but different which made me wonder what was the actual truth. my wife and I were at registration pickup for a marathon and we see this solar company. I stop to chat thinking these guys would be like everyone else, regardless, I wanted to chat. This guy just smiled and said "you have any questions about solar"? His genuine nature was surprising. Throughout our conversation he gave me average costs for the state, how the tax credits worked, and how solar worked. I didn't feel like he was trying to push me into anything. I actually asked him if they could come take a look. When the other guy shows up to my house he looks and acts just like the other guy. Wearing cowboy boots, acting more like a contractor and giving me any info I wanted, even if it didn't help his side of things. He took some info from me, they drew up a proposal, and gave the numbers to me straight. I love how these guys didn't have a "sales pitch". If you want to work with real people that are knowledgeable and will shoot you straight go with 1Solar. Love our system and have a deeper understanding of what's on our roof because of these guys.... read more

When these guys explained why they use Hyundai it made sense. Other panel companies go in and out of business all of the time. They offer a 25 or 30 year warrenty but whats the point if the company goes out of business? Hyundai Heavy Industries has been in business longer than I've been alive and will be in business long after I'm gone. Which means their 25 year warrenty means something. Just look at Hyundai Heavy Industries and you'll see what Im talking about. They own everything!!!... read more
