I contacted Baker Solar Electric In 7/16 and met w/ their Sales Person. We discussed our current and proposed projects at length. We advised him we're immediately installing a new electric heating/cooling system and a electric water heater. The Salesperson told us they had designed a system to meet our current needs and had been over designed to meet our proposed project. He also stated we could add additional panel as some of our projects were projected in a 2-5 year plan. We purchased the system for 28,500.00. Turns out we received our first "true up" bill for $1200.00. We contacted Baker and they say the system is underdesigned by 50%-77% and want us to purchase a second system for over $23,000.00! My neighbor purchased at the same time and is having the same issue. They've told them they must purchase a second system after having the system 1 year. Buyer Beware!... read more
