Due to 20% shading on our site, a micro-inverter based system was recommended over a traditional string inverter system. Given that choice, the idea of a single source responsibility and the 25-year warranty on the panel/micro-inverter combination provided the impetus to go with an all-SunPower system.... read more

I give Evoke Solar my highest recommendation as a solar PV system installer. Their salesperson, Marc, answered my 1001 questions patiently and honestly and was flexible in helping me evaluate a few different system configurations. This was very important to me as I am an engineer and need to get into the weeds before I decide on anything! Evoke's pricing was very competitive with other solar installers and after reading customer reviews online and contacting references, Evoke was the clear winner. Once we signed the contract, Evoke quickly got us a schedule which projected about 3 months from start to completion. This turned out to be almost right on the money! The system design and roof structural analysis took about 3-4 weeks. Next, the Township permit and utility company interconnection application couldn't have been any easier. Evoke did all the paperwork and we simply reviewed and signed it. The installation itself went amazingly well and took only 6 hours onsite from when they showed up to when they left. The entire crew was courteous and efficient. Wes, the owner and crew chief, was extremely knowledgeable and happy to entertain questions. His years of experience going back to the early 2000's shows through. Post-install went smoothly as well with the 2nd part interconnection agreement and utility bidirectional meter installation completed within about 10 days after system installation. When an unusual issue with the SunPower monitoring of our home electrical usage surfaced, Evoke came out the next day and fixed it. Finally, registration with an SREC aggregator, recommended by Evoke, went smoothly and we received a beautiful and comprehensive Owner's Packet with all of the system hardware documentation and warranty registration material. The installation is aesthetically beautiful. My wife who is a former design professional and who has a very critical eye absolutely loved it! Evoke even took a really sharp drone photo of our installation which quickly made the rounds on social media! Both Wes and Roshelle have both been responsive and efficient in addressing any questions or concerns we had. It is a good feeling to work with folks who have such passion for what they do and we are looking forward to having their support as we embark upon our journey toward a more sustainable future. It is also great to think that the system will pay for itself over the next decade and a half while reducing our electricity cost to practically nil for the foreseeable future.... read more
