I had great communication with Doug at Unicity Solar from the beginning of my project until it was installed. Cory and his crew did an amazing job installing, everything looks as clean as Doug said it would and a big difference then others in my neighborhood, Mrs. Lopez in the office has always made sure to keep me up to date as well and a pleasure to speak with about any concerns. Savings are better than I expected, and not having any payments for a year is even better. I recommend Unicity to any looking to go solar.

I'll start out saying I'm not an easy customer to please. My sales rep Jonathan M is so easy to work with. Jonathon explained everything I needed to know about the solar system works. Whenever I call Jonathan with a question he promptly calls me back. In addition Kim in the office called me with what the next step or steps would be. My family and neighbors comment on how nice our solar panels look. I want to Thank everyone at Unicity from Jonathan, Kim and the installers. I definitely recommend Unicity for all your solar needs. I could not be happier, these guys came in with an amazing group and left me feeling completely hooked and happy that we chose SOLAR! Answered every question I had, respectful and excellent at their job. Hard workers, and the way these panels look are out of this WORLD. I was absolutely pleasantly surprised, I HATE the way solar panels look on homes but these guys made ours look exceptional and I would refer this group to anyone and even if you’re not “solar sold” yet once you meet these guys you will be. Buyer BeWare!!!! Unicity Solar came to my house and offered us a 6kw system, that would on average take my $174 electric bill down to $82. Looking around $90 savings a month. I would like to share my expenses with everyone. So I purchased 20 Solar Panels about 3 years ago from Unicity Solar. My monthly payment was $95 a month. After about the 2nd year, I had to refinance because the tax credit didn't work they way it was explained to me. My new payment went to $151 a month. My average savings with the 20 Solar Panels is $31.54 a month. I'm not a Mathematician, but spending $151 to save $31 doesn't add up to me. For the first 6 months, my wife had to deal with Duke Energy to get the correct meter connected. So our panels production could be used. When we tried to get answers on the poor production from the panels, it was either our pool causing issues or that's what we should have expected or they just wouldn't return our calls. So now, they have their lawyers sending us a "Cease and Desist" letter so Unicity Solar doesn't have to explain the difference between the proposed 6kw system and the 6kw system they installed.

Stay away from them. 1. They claim the solar loan is not a second mortgage, it is. Your bank will confirm the same. They will make anything up to get the sale 2. They are mostly all 1099 employees and have zero accountability. Sales blames the project management team, installers blame sales, and project managers just claim innocence. 3. Project is overpriced and they leave a mess once the project is completed (1 year from start date in my experience) 4. Customer service is non existent. You will spend months trying to get things rolling only to be met with lackluster efforts to make you go away. Once they get the signature you go to the back burner. 5. Sales makes claims they can’t keep. Layouts are wrong and even they don’t know what they are doing. Centralized engineers make layouts that are based on drone footage but must be cheap drones since they aren’t accurate and installers have to get updates 6. They claim you get a 26% system cost refund but you don’t. You get a 26% system cost reduction from your tax liability. So if you don’t pay a lot in taxes, you will roll that over for decades. I can go on but this is what I’ll leave for now. Do not go with them. I am still dealing with trying to get this done a year later.

Installed 32 panels in 2019 in Spring Hill, Fl, and to date, electric charges have been 100% covered with exception of the monthly account fee from power company. For those complaining about not being connected to the grid, the power company is responsible for that activity, so if they have the application and paperwork for your solar installation, then recommend you contact your power company to check on status.

We have been dealing with this company since April and we still do not have solar connected to the grid and it is now the end of August. Everything about this company seemed sketchy but we went against our better judgment because we are trying to go green and because solar makes sense to us. However, we did not do our due diligence and re-search and it is clearly showing. We get phone calls and emails asking if everything has been completed and it has not. We just keep getting the runaround. I believe our first payment is coming up soon and like I said we still are not connected. Buyer beware!!!!!

They came to my house, they install the panels since January we now in August they haven’t connect me to the grid yet. Now I have two bills to pay, help me please I need to report them

Unicity was great from beginning to end. Our solar panels have been on for about 5 months now and we haven't had a power bill higher than $10! Factoring in our $10 bill plus the solar loan, we are saving about 30% compared to what our electricity costs were prior to going solar, which is what they told us to expect. We are very happy we went solar with Unicity.

Everything went good and I love my new solar panels from Unicity. They do really good work, I recommend them to everyone.

Great solar provider. I did a lot of research and wanted the best technology available. Unicity was the only company I found that sources the highest quality materials as a standard where most companies I spoke to only gave me the "option" to use better materials. Why should that be an option instead of a standard?

Unicity is light years ahead of the rest! I had been thinking about solar for the last year and when I saw them putting panels on my neighbors house I decided to stop by and see how it was going. I was very impressed with what I saw and decided to schedule them to come to my home and see what they could do for me. Prior to meeting with them, I called a couple of other companies in my area just to have a couple of extra opinions and options. I am still surprised how different my experience was with Unicity compared to the others. The other companies sent representatives to my home that barely listened to my concerns, they just jotted some numbers down on a piece of paper and tried to convince me that I needed to go solar with them because they had "special deals". I felt like I was talking to a "snake oil" salesman. It was so bad that I doubted my whole interest in solar and almost cancelled my appointment with Unicity because I didn't want to endure another 3 hour long ordeal with an annoying sales rep. Knowing my neighbor had a good experience, I kept my appointment with them and I am VERY glad I did. Unicity's representative "Shak" arrived and was very professional and made me feel very comfortable with everything right from the get-go. He actually listened to me and addressed any of my concerns before ever going in to detail about their offer. When it came time to discuss their system, he presented me with a very detailed quote that showed me all of the details of the components, where the panels would go on my home, and a full breakdown of the financial aspect of going solar. I was blown away. What's even more impressive to me is they had the lowest quote with the best financing and premium equipment. The other companies tried to sell me on what they were selling, whereas Shak's system sold itself with just a basic google search of the components. He never tried to pressure me to "sign today", but I still did, all on my own accord. The company picked up right where Shak left off. They kept me informed, got my job done quickly and the install crew was great. They showed up in a big Unicity truck and got everything done in about 6 hours. If you're looking at getting solar panels, I suggest you add Unicity to the list of companies that you're speaking to. I can attest that they do not disappoint!

They do not disappoint! I've had my solar panels operational since February and my highest electric bill was $10.23! I'm saving over $50 per month compared to what my total electricity costs were before going solar. Definitely worth it!

Unicity is great at every turn! It seems like they've got some very good people working for this company. I worked with their solar representative "Danny" and he kept in touch with me through the whole process. The crew that came to put the panels on were top notch and left everything as clean as when they showed up. 2 thumbs up!

Unicity gave us the best price and monthly payment for our solar panels. We have been saving every month since the panels were put on.

If you're on the fence about solar, read my review of this company! I'm not the type to leave reviews, but my experience with Unicity Solar was beyond what I consider "normal" and it seems that their other customers agree based on their other reviews. I was lucky enough to get to work with Matt, who is the owner, at the beginning of my process. He told me he works with a lot of customers that are near their office in Tarpon Springs and I find that very noble of any business owner to still enjoy meeting with prospective customers and making sure they have a great experience. I had met with a couple of other companies, one national company and 2 local "smaller" companies, and I can say without a doubt Matt has built a company that perfectly blends the positives of both types of business models in to one. I got the "family" feeling from the local company aspect, and I got a no frills, very thorough proposal from them with a complete understanding of what would happen, $0 down financing with a national lender and the best materials in the industry. Something else I also find to be extremely rare with local companies is not using subcontractors, which Unicity does not do. His crew showed up in a brand new Unicity branded box truck with 4 crew members that all matched and had awesome, cheerful attitudes. The other companies I met with all told me it would take anywhere from 16-20 weeks before I could expect to be installed. When Matt assured me it would be done within 4 weeks, I honestly didn't know if I believed him. He said they have an in-house process for getting engineering and permitting done very quickly, so I was optimistic it could actually be done that fast. To my surprise, their project coordinator called me 2 weeks after signing the contract and stated they would have my permit that week and wanted to schedule me for the following week (This would put it in the third week). The installation went seamless and I can't believe how clean everything looks. I have nothing else to compare it to since I've never had solar before, but I have no doubt their work is second-to-none. The building inspector told me he inspects a lot of Unicity's work and it is the best solar work he sees and he's never had any problems. My new meter was put on by Duke about 3 weeks after the inspection (which apparently this is the standard time frame). It's funny that Unicity installed my system in the same amount of time it took Duke to come put the new meter on. Since the new meter has been working my electric bills have been under $10 every month just like Matt said they would be and I have already registered extra credits with Duke. From start-to-finish I have been thoroughly impressed by Matt and the whole team at Unicity.

They installed 32 panels on my roof and my power bills have been $9 since my new meter was put on. I'm very impressed with the entire process.

Matt came out to our house personally and did our site evaluation. He found some issues with our roof and refused to let us proceed until we fixed the problems. It says a lot about someone when they won’t take your money because they know what’s best for you as a client. He treated us like family and never pressured us into doing something that wasn’t right for us. Here’s the best part, he was spot on. A good friend of ours is a roofer and he told us if we would have put solar on our house without fixing the messed up patch job first, our roof would have definitely leaked. Needless to say, we signed up with Unicity and Matt and his team are pulling our solar permit now. I will check back in with an update after the job is installed but I couldn’t wait to post this 5 star review. Thank you Unicity!

These are sharpshooters! They do what they say and say what they mean! I’ve saved more money on my utility bills going solar than I could of ever imagined! I’m definitely saving more with solar than when I was trying on my own. This is a DEFINITE way to save money in your utility bills. Very satisfied with my solar system and my experience going through this company!

This is a very professional solar company that allowed me to explore all my options before forcefully shoving their product down my throat like most companies would. They made fair comparisons between their solar energy requirements and their competitors. I decided to go with their product because I favored their business model over the structure of their competitors. The panels were installed in one business day after I agreed to the repairs. I look forward to seeing the long term effects of these solar panels. I recommend this Tarpon Springs Solar Company for your solar energy needs.

I've signed up for Unicity Solar Energy after doing extensive research on a few companies in the immediate area. I found their customer feedback to be consistent and their financing options to be the most reasonable. What I learned is each solar company does things slightly differently. My preference was in how Unicity Solar does things over their competition. I also appreciated the owners effort in explaining the energy efficiency system and when I could expect to realistically see results. I've always been interested in the idea of solar, but now that it has been explained to me, I have a full appreciation of it. Thank you Unicity Solar!
