A Job Well Done

Yesterday we had your crew out to install our second system on our garage. The crew worked flawlessly together. Everybody had a job and completed it in the most efficient way. Gerardo, the electrician converted the original electrical system to accommodate 2 system and put a weatherproof load center on the garage to accommodate both systems and pulled larger conductors at carry the load. He spoke with my wife and kept her up to date as the job progressed. When I got home from work he gave me a tour of the new systems and how it was connected to the com ed connection. Which was different from the original. With more protections on the feed from the garage to the house than the original system. Thank you all.

Stay away from Tron

WARNING!!!! Stay away!!! I reached out to Tron In the summer of 2025. I wanted to take advantage of the federal tax credits that would be expiring at the end of the year. We had the best Tron representative and we committed to a very expensive system with a backup generator. The project limped along and in September, I reached out to our contact expressing concern that the project wouldn't be finished by the time the tax credits expired. Finally I received text messages to schedule installation In early December, then they cancelled and moved the date to mid December, then canceled and rescheduled for January. If we had kept that appointment for January, we would have lost the federal tax credit and would've had to pay full price for the system which cost tens of thousands of dollars.I have no idea what types of logistics and difficulties could've happened. Keep in mind, this is not my first solar panel installation project. I had panels on my previous home and the installation, financing, planning, and logistics went on without a hitch. I would stay away from Tron. Save yourself some headaches in about $25,000 and go with Sun Run.

I would do it again

For anyone looking to find a blessing. Feel safe and Praise the Lordfor this great product. The staff at all levels are very kind and work hard to ensure that in each level that they've put a smile on your face If you ever want to talk to me I will ensure you hear the truth. Understaffed - Paid Reviews

They pay customers to leave reviews. My system has been down for almost 6 weeks, they have told me someone will come in the next 1-2 weeks every time I check in. Their service and reliability leaves much to be desired. Will update review when system is repaired.

Best out there

I started the process with another company. 6 letters starts with S ands with N and it rhymes in the middle. They were the worst. Lies left and right and said u needed $10K in work to do project but couldn’t say why. Then they went silent. I put out on social media I was looking for someone and Steve with Tron called me. Best experience ever. He was super honest and waited while I built a new garage to put panels on. Don’t hesitate to call Tron and ask for Steve T. You will be happy you did

Isaiah Brook ia personable and absolutely great to work with. A true professional, extremely knowledgeable. He explained the entire program, process, and benefits of going solar to get away from the ever inflating costs of buying my energy from the utility. Transparent of all available options to allow me to make the best choice for my home and family. He was very involved throughout the entire process (sales - installation) and accessible for follow-up questions.

Everything from beginning to end could not have been smoother. I was kept in the loop from day 1 and highly recommend using Tron Solar for any of your solar needs. Top notch service and would give them 12 stars if I was able to. I recommend to all I can.

We used Tron solar for out install in 2019 and the system has issues. I first had contact with Andy the sales guy and he seemed knowledgeable and made us comfortable with going with the company. But after the install we were dealing with another associate Giray who didn’t know anything about solar and our system! He has since moved on and now it’s even worse as our system never reported output correctly so we get errors from our app. I don’t have anyone to work with since the original guy left and when I reach out it goes in circles. My bill for electric is now more than when we didn’t have solar! And I have to pay a loan on top of that! Definitely not happy with their job. They underpowered us and when I try and inquire about additional panel they say “well I don’t like the errors we see with your system.” Yea come fix it then! And they have now told us on 2 separate occasions that they are coming out to check the system and every time they no called, no showed!! Avoid this company and the headaches.

Great Company and Employees were Top Notch

Was very happy with the quality of the products and the installation, but working with Brian Platt as the sales rep was the best experience. Great guy, knowledgeable, very responsive and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. And the few speedbumps that came up, he was attentive and showed outstanding dedication to resolving them correctly and quickly (and I must say that Giray Emsun does amazing work and is also a great human being). Tron should retain and promote these individuals!

The installation crew did a really nice job. The installation looks good. The installers clearly communicated what they were going to do. It was clear they had taken the information from the electrical survey and planned the installation in advance.

Rebate

This company gave us false information. We were told we could get $16,000 back in federal funds and rebates. Andy Beckett lied to us. When we filed our taxes we were only eligible to get only $900.00 back. They took the rebate back for the state of Illinois that was an incentive. Stay away from this company.

Reinstall
