Great company to work with, very professional and responsive

Rob Santoleri and his colleagues at TerraSol have been great to work with. We have only had our system in place for a little over a week so, we don't have a good sense of how well it will meet our electrical needs. Nevertheless, we have been very pleased with their work and their communicating with us during the review and approval process. Jumping through all of the hoops needed to get the system approved and installed would have been impossible for us without their help. The installation, once they were able to actually do the work(!), was quick and very professional. They were great to work with from the very beginning.

I did some online research and talked with a few companies for installation of Solar at my home. I thankfully ended up selecting TerraSol. Rob and team were great with getting me quote information along with details of processes. After selecting TerraSol, the whole installation was a breeze because they handled all the details with PECO and my township. I also installed a whole-house generator at the same time and Rob and team worked seamlessly with my generator installers. Installation took only a couple days total. Since install I've had no issues with TerraSol and they've been great working with SunPower on ensuring my monitoring system is up to date and showing me correct information from they system.

Happy I chose TerraSol

I can't say enough great things. Rob and his team were stellar to work with. I fully researched this project and got at least 7 quotes from local companies. TerraSol's price was exceptional for the quality of the product. Sunpower is one of the best panels you can buy and beats the competition on efficiency, warranty, and aesthetics, but TerraSol was the main reason I went with Sunpower. Rob is very customer-oriented, wants to make sure you are comfortable and satisfied, and is just a very nice person to deal with. I'm confident he will be responsive if I have any problems. TerraSol took care of everything from permits to PECO from start to finish. It took roughly 3 months from signing of contract to turning on the system. 99% of this is permits and other approvals. Actual installation was only a day. So far, in September, I seem to be producing a lot of energy. I have received many compliments on the look of the system. This was very important to me because my panels face the street. The A400 black-on-black are super sleek. They are beautiful, and no doubt adds value to my home. Outside of this, it just feels good to generate my own energy and reduce my footprint. Hope this was helpful.

Every step of the way Rob has been patient and helpful in every question and concern. Rob is very personable and down to earth, which made everything flow so smoothly. When researching I reached out to a dozen competitors, and none of them come close to how Rob interacted with us. That really makes all the difference.

Rob and everyone else at TerraSol were great to work with and I'm really happy with how things turned out. I got quotes from multiple solar companies and TerraSol was competitive with everyone else but I decided to go with TeraSol because of the great service provided by Rob. He was easy to get in contact with and happy to answer all of my questions. He revised our proposal several times over the course of 6 months as we decided what made the most sense for our house/needs. I felt that he provided the most accurate representation of what our annual generation potential was based on location and year-round seasonal changes compared to other companies. Once we signed the contract, I was pleasantly surprised how quickly things got underway . The permitting process and installation went super smoothly and we have been generating power for a little over a month now. The solar company to use in the Greater Philadelphia area

It has been 11 months since the TerraSol team installed our solar system. To start, it is my opinion that the product Sunpower offers is the best overall package when it comes to solar both in components and warranty. To use Sunpower and have their warranty you have to go through one of their dealers. TerraSol is the dealer for the Greater Philadelphia area, and boy are we lucky! Rob is a pleasure to work with, and the entire team are true professionals. They treat you like family, and maybe that is because they are a family. Courtesy, respect, great quality work, great communication, people you can trust, thats is what comes to mind when I think back on my experience working with them. I wish they did more home related projects, as I would welcome them into my home any time.

TerraSol did a great job designing and installing our solar system. Rob was a pleasure to work with and promptly answered questions during the design and installation process. They coordinated well with our roofing contractor to make sure that our new roof vents were properly located. Their follow-up after installation was also excellent. Rob took care of all the application details for the Delaware Green Energy grant program which was very helpful.

During the install they communicated throughout the process and stayed on top of PECO to stay on schedule. My system is up and running and I am very happy with the performance. Excellent staff and company

The Terra Sol staff were excellent to work with from start to completion! Rob answered all questions and explained the entire process in a simple, easy to follow manner. Rob and Matt kept us informed throughout the project and Matt was thorough in explaining the details when he set up the outside monitors. Rob always answered emails, phone calls and emails quickly and came out to personally make sure the system was working and that we understood how to monitor our solar power system! The Terra Sol staff handled all aspects of our solar project and made it completely easy because they handled everything expertly! We highly recommend them!

why Terra Sol

Had estimates from 3 companies, with TS being the middle quote. What sold me was the quality of the product compared to both other companies. The salesman for the highest listed quote asked why I went with TS and I showed him the comparison between both panels. He just shook his head. Best financial move for me ever!

Could Not Be Happier

We finally took the plunge to go solar. After checking on the Delmarva site for solar contractors (https://dnrec.alpha.delaware.gov/climate-coastal-energy/renewable/participating-contractors/), we narrowed it down to several contractors and ultimately chose TerraSol. We couldn't be happier. Their team did an onsite analysis to make sure our site was suitable for solar, came up with a design that covers 100% of our yearly electrical demand, and helped us through the initial inquiry process. Once on contract, they helped us through the various paperwork required to get us connected to the grid as well as available grants and loans. Installation of the panels on the roof took only one day. From contract to operational took about 3 months, mostly waiting for required paperwork, inspections, and finally the meter that does indeed go backwards.

Solar Panel Experience

We used TerraSol Energies for our Home Solar panel installs, and the experience could not have been better. They came out always on time, and spent the time to explain the ins and outs of the systems, make suggestions and walked us through the whole process (they even took care of all the paperwork and coordination with the utility companies). As far as the work itself, it was completed on time, and the installation was completed without any hiccups and very organized. The last thing I will say, is that they went out of their way to help us apply to a State Grant as well as to a qualifying rebate. I cannot say how pleased we are with their support.

Highly Recommend!

I had an outstanding experience with TerraSol. First, I am a really tough customer - I do a ton of diligence, want everything handled professionally and want to pay a fair price. I spend a couple of years doing due diligence on various providers as well as solar panel manufacturers. Over a period of two years, I saw a lot of change at Tesla /Solar City and saw some providers come and go. At the end of the day, I had confidence that TerraSol would be around a long time and that they had indeed earned their good reputation. Everything went as they had set expectations and I am really happy. If you are going to go solar, talk to Rob at TerraSol!

TerraSol is the Best!

We've been so pleased with TerraSol Energies. During the sales process, they were helpful, informative, and not pushy like other Solar companies I investigated. They believe in their product SunPower which by the way is the best on the market both in efficiency, looks, and warranty. TerraSol handled all the pre-installation paperwork including Township permit, HOA docs, PECO approval, etc. Installation went very smooth and then end result is we have great looking panels on our roof with generating all our energy from the sun! I believe everyone making an investment this big should look at multiple vendors, but I'm also confident that after you do that you will end up choosing TerraSol Energies and SunPower just like we did! Excellent Communication and Problem Solving

I judge a company based on how they handle problems. We had several problems: 1. PECO denial. PECO denied our original request for a 14KW system. Rob communicated with PECO and could not get them to change their minds without $1000’s for a PECO engineering assessment. PECO wanted us to reduce power, so we ended up with an 11KW system and Terrasol reduced our bill accordingly. 2. Old roof. We had a 22 year old roof. Rob would not install a solar system on this roof. I appreciated his honesty, so we had a new, beautiful, blue standing seem metal roof installed. Rob met several times with our roofer, Global Home Improvement, to locate three penetrations required to make the installation seamless. So, no additional roof penetrations were required by Terrasol. My roof warranty is intact. 3. Complex install. Three solar mounting locations were required as well as an additional 130ft trench to connect the garage to the main house. Terrasol work with an electrician to wire up the garage panels with the main house. The solar power wire had to be run from several two roof locations to the breaker box in the basement. For aesthetics, Rob worked with me in determining the most hidden way, installing a conduit through a closet, The system worked correctly the first time. My wife an I could not be more pleased. I recommend Sunpower panels because they are the best engineered and highest power producing panels on the market. They have one of the lowest degradation (most power production) over 25 years. The copper back plane on each cell makes this possible.
