TerraSol is a wonderful company

The solar industry is the wild west; I learned that by getting a little crazy during my search. I spoke to over two dozen solar salesmen, and of that group, only a handful were honest, competent, AND price competitive for high-quality panels. TerraSol stands out in all three categories. Every employee who interacted with me, from the administrator and installers to the VP, was patient with my questions and straightforward in their approach. These folks are proud of their work (for good reason), and I have no doubt that if I should ever have trouble with the installation, they will be around and happy to help.

Excellent value, communication and workmanship. Can’t speak highly enough of our experience. Rob was very clear in explaining the proposal and, once signed, Rasha was excellent with communicating progress with permit approvals and installation timing. The installation crew was efficient and polite. We were operational 2 months after signing thanks to quick permit approvals.

I recently had TerraSol install solar panel system on my home. I'm thrilled with the entire experience, from the initial consultation to the final inspection. We had a terrific experience with TerraSol. We wanted a relatively small solar panel installation to partially offset our electric costs and wanted to coordinate the installation with a larger renovation. I was really impressed by the personal attention to our small project. Rob met with us at our home. We never got any pressure to purchase a larger system. He provided a quote that was competitive with larger companies and much lower than another local installer. The TerraSol team worked seamlessly with our contractor to minimize the appearance of exterior wiring and installed the system in one day. TerraSol handled all the interactions with PECO and our township for inspections etc. System has been working flawlessly for several months now. The team was very responsive to all our questions and timely in their correspondence. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

A Great Company To Do Business With

From start to finish very professional and forthright about the entire process. The proposal was well written up and very informative. There was no sales pressure at all. Once we committed to the project TerraSol took care of everything. We had to fill out a couple of forms and not much else. Project timeline was excellent with the time from our initial inquiry to permission to operate being 14 weeks. Installation was done with minimal disruption to our home and no debris left behind. Communication has been excellent start to finish. Also, importantly we have had questions after permission to operate and payment in full. Questions were answered promptly, so you can expect service after the sale. We recommend this business highly.

Experience with TerraSol Energies

TerraSol recently completed installation of a 14KWh system with battery backup in our primary residence. Quality of installation and the overall level of service of this company is stellar. They also carry top shelf brands, like REC and Enphase. I am extremely pleased with the project, end to end. This company gets my highest recommendation. Chapeau!

Great Experence with TerraSol

We had a ground based solar array installed by TerraSol. They were friendly, great about answering questions, and very knowledgeable about the whole process. They provided realistic estimates of what to expect, assistance at every step including zoning clearance, coordination with the power company, selection of the best location and trouble-free installation. There was one underestimated hurdle for which they took full responsibility with no upcharge. It was a pleasure to work with their pleasant and competent staff.

Loving our solar install!

We wanted to do solar on our home and TerraSol Energies was recommended to us by a friend. We were super impressed by there professionalism and knowledge. They were very responsive and showed up when they said they would. The care and attention to detail they put into our installation has made us super happy. In fact, looking at other installs done by another company has us saying to ourselves, 'glad we didn't use them'. They helped us thru every step of DE loan and grant process. Excellent Installer of Solar energy system

We highly recommend TerraSol Energies as a solar panel installer. We researched a few solar installers and found TerraSol provided the best value and customer service. They always responded to our calls and explained the process in detail. There were no hidden surprises. Rob knows the solar energy business and worked through all the procedures to get approvals in a timely manner. TerraSol worked with our township and PECO to get us on board as quickly as possible - we actually were powered up earlier than Rob had told us in the contract. If you are looking for solar panels, definitely consider TerraSol Energies.

Terrific experience from start to finish

After contacting nearly a dozen installers, it became pretty obvious that TerraSol was the right company for the job. Rob and Rasha answered all of my questions and concerns throughout the entire process, which couldn't have gone any smoother. I really didn't have to do much of anything, with TerraSol handling everything from their end. From contract signing to PTO, it took under two and a half months to complete. To top it off, they had incredibly competitive pricing on REC Alpha Pure panels, which is what I wanted. The crew that installed the panels was terrific, as well. All of their work looks incredibly clean, which I very much appreciate. I would absolutely recommend TerraSol to anyone looking to go solar.

Highest recommendation for TerraSol Energy

We give TerraSol Energies (TSE Solar) of Chadds Ford, PA our highest recommendation as a provider and installer of solar panels. They installed a 10.125 KW solar panel system (25 REC Group panels), with Enphase microinverters, on our roof in September 2023. The system is working perfectly and the Enphase app lets us track, in real time, the production from each of the panels and the total energy (from the panels and our electricity supplier) consumed by us. After determining the size of the system we wanted and the companies whose solar panels were acceptable to us, we started our search for a supplier/installer on EnergySage.com. We got good quotes from a few suppliers. Accidentally, we also found TSE Solar, who are not on EnergySage. They are based in Chadds Ford, PA, just 15 miles from our home in Wilmington, DE, and are a family run company (father, son and about 10 full time employees). We requested a quote from them and got a competitive quote. Then Robert, the son, came to our place and explained the process and the proposal. There was no hard sell and no gimmicks. We thought about the various offers for a few days and decided to go with TSE Solar, since their quote was competitive, their offices were just 15 miles from us, and we had had good interactions with them. We received outstanding service from everyone at TSE Solar - from the person who generated the proposal, from Robert who came to our house to discuss the proposal, from the person handling the scheduling/logistics of our project, and the installers. The panels were installed in 1 day, on the scheduled installation date. The scheduling/logistics person handled all the permits and the approvals, including preparing and submitting our application for a rebate from Delmarva Power. Finally, the TSE Solar proposal had mentioned we would get a $8,000 rebate from Delmarva Power. However, Delmarva’s rebate policy changed, and the rebate now was only $6,000. Robert, of TSE Solar, informed us of this change and said that he would pay us the $2,000 difference. We had not asked for it, he did not have to pay us, but he paid us. Thank you.

Solar Panel Installation at My Home

TerraSol Energies, Inc was just great from start to finish. They took the time to evaluate the best solar plan for our home and taking the time to explain the best process and our options. The installation was timely, efficient and to budget, there were no surprises. Finally, their post installation service to make sure that we were properly register with the utilities. as well as making sure that we had and understood how to monitor our power production and consumption. Every step of the process was clear, the timeline was exactly as described, the installers who came to our home were efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent experience and products !

This family operated company is fantastic! I’ve known Dave since the early 1970’s and I’m so glad we selected TerraSol Energies for our project. A key requirement for our home was a system that could integrate with our existing whole house generator and offer a path to eventually eliminate the generator. I worked primarily with Rasha, Rob, Carl, Matt, and Dave but everyone we worked with from the first contact to the TSE installers to the electricians and horizontal boring company staff (we needed to upgrade our PECO service conductors and wanted the new service moved underground) was professional, friendly, and highly effective. We selected an Enphase system for the micro-inverters, IQ Controller 2 smart switch, and Encharge storage system. The storage system is currently sized (10kWh) to provide whole house backup for short outages and the generator is started to supplement the storage and solar panel output if needed. I wanted to be very involved with the design of the system and the TerraSol team welcomed and encouraged this collaborative approach. As most of TSE’s other customers have experienced, there was never any pressure and the communications was top-rate. I highly recommend solar and TerraSol Energies is a great company to work with!

I've read most of their 5 star reviews and all the reviews are true. In this time we live in it's hard to believe there are still company's that still have the costumer as there first priority. They answer all your questions with not even a hint of hard sell. There entire staff was helpful through the entire process, and this is coming from A 79 year old male that is very pic-key about my home and cars. Only Positive Experience

System has been installed since Feb 2023 (21.75KW) Sales Process- Rob was both knowledgeable and easy to communicate with from the start until today. Planned for future EV in the design. Value- competitively priced Office Staff- very good communication with Rasha all along the way. She is on top of her game! Handled the permitting, inspections, interconnection app, SREC app. Seemless! Timing- They delivered on time, even with supply chain issues Field install- Install took two days. Guys were efficient, answered any questions, cleaned up and they were gone. Great experience. Interconnection with PECO- no issues, Terrasol handled it Sunpower App- Easy and fun to use and see power being produced, by the hour, day, week, month, year etc.

Excellent Service

Our experience with TerraSol Energies was seamless from start to finish. They did a superb job in every regard. They communicate well with the customer and respond quickly to questions. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable and very respectful while on your property. They worked well with our township and utility provider and kept us well informed of the various steps that we proceeded through to complete the installation of our solar system. We are really glad that we selected TerraSol as our contractor and we could not be more enthusiastic in recommending their services.

The TerraSol team was great to work with. They priced fairly and executed crisply. They managed expectations well around things they couldn't control (utility approvals and meters) and hit every deadline they could control including a very easy 1-day install.
