Technicians for Sustainability

Let The Sunshine!!!!

After pondering the benefits of putting solar panels on our roof, we finally got in touch with Technicians For Sustainability (T. F. S.). What a very wise choice that was! The company was so incredibly conscientious and brilliantly adept at handling all of our concerns and needs. The installation went flawlessly, quickly, most effectively, and (additionally) it looks so dang good! Thank you T. F. S. for demonstrating, beyond all my expectations, how a business can be expertly conducted. ....and they're "local"!

Pro's

These guys know what they are doing - and they care about what they are doing

Two years and still perfect

Starting my second year and all is still as perfect at the day they fired it up. I watch other installers but cannot find installs that match the professionalism of TFS. Others seem to use a lot more panels to achieve the same output per KW. TFS uses the best materials and the best install techniques. TFS is simply the best. Check out their work at OMOS church and Benedictine Convent. Ken Retired electrical inspector Tsn AZ Ken retired Electrical Inspector

Solar PV residential installation

Once the contract was signed, everything happened on schedule and as planned. The system was turned on once the TEP meter change was made and fired up to work just as planned.

Outstanding

I would highly recommend. Excellent staff and crew. Their craftsmanship and professionalism was the best. I had gotten estimates from other places but TFS had the best prices with the best solar panels. The only company to go with if you want to go solar in my opinion.

TFS was great - highly recommended!

Our experience with TFS was great. We had another solar company come to our house and they basically told us that solar would work. Dave with TFS came to our house and worked up a creative solution and walked us through exactly what we could expect. The installation crews were super. They worked through the challenges of dealing with a 1930 house that's seen multiple electrical upgrades and went above and beyond to make it work. As a bike commuter, I loved seeing them arrive by bike most days - at the end of the job they left everything clean and better than before. Top notch experience all the way around.

Ethical people

I have been considering solar for my house, and my phone and email are overloaded with people who want my business. Some of the phone calls are totally oriented to money--their first question is whether I would like to save on my electric bill---solar energy is just a vehicle for us to get the best of TEP. The conversation is all about which deal is the most advantageous financially. Technicians for Sustainability are concerned about the best solar energy strategy for the customer and the community in which they live. The representative from this company listened carefully, and took my personal priorities seriously, even when it meant he might sell me a few solar panels less

First Class Contractor

I am very pleased that I chose TFS to install our residential solar photo-voltaic system - they lived up to the excellent reviews I read on-line to help me choose an installer. All aspects of the installation were handled by people who clearly cared about the need to strive towards sustainability as indicated in their company name. All appointments were closely met and the work was completed quickly and professionally on both the mechanical and the electrical aspects of the installation. The quoted price was met exactly. A small problem with the internet connection for online monitoring of the system was detected by TFS as well as myself and the response to fix it was rapid and successful. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending TFS as an installer of residential solar photo-voltaic power systems.

Best Contractors Ever

TSF installed solar panels on my house and my business, Animal Health Hospital. TSF was amazing. From start to finish they communicated effectively and surpassed my expectations every day. In both cases they provided me with the system that I needed and not more. They left the job site clean every day and finished before they said they would. Their commitment to me and the two systems continues unabated. The ONLY people for solar in Tucson as far as I am concerned. Feel free to contact me at my hospital for a personal recommendation or to view the system designed and installed by TSF. Sincerely, Kipp Metzger D.V.M., Owner, Animal Health Hospital. 520-885-2364

Excellent Customer Service

Technicians for Sustainability handled everything about our project from start to finish. They were professional, courteous, and worked around our schedule. Now that we have worked with them, we are invited to their annual open houses, so we feel like part of their "solar family"!

Exceeded all my expectations

TFS is the only contractor that has worked on my house that deserves 5 stars. The installation was done on time and is extremely professional. We are producing more electricity than TFS promised and our system should pay for itself in a little over 4 years. We've had one minor problem with the system and TFS sent out a technician the same day we called to solve the problem. This company is one that truly deserves your business. One of those rare companies that make customer service a priority

Exceeded expectations

TFS Solar exceeded our expectations before, during and after our installation. They continue to do so even now that we're not even directly dealing with them, by donating money to charities when people we refer to them sign a contract for a system. Even our solar system they installed is exceeding expectations. It was designed to produce about 95% of our annual needs and it's actually producing more than what we've been using, by a good amount. I have absolutely no qualms about recommending TFS Solar.

Never dealt with a better company

We've had a fair amount of work done by various contractors over the years but have never had a better experience than with TFS. Everyone was sweet as pie and so knowledgeable and just good at what they do. Would recommend, and have recommended, many times.

Review

Wonderful experience. Very professional. Carefully explained what they were doing. Now, a year later, am still thrilled.

Amazing Company, awesome solar energy!

This company wsa more than helpful. They are local and involved. The time estimates they gave were more than realistic, they ended up installing a month before they had promised to do so. We instantly saved on our utility bills, and in our all electric house rarely pay more than the $14 service fee a month to the electric company. I can access info about how our solar system is doing online at any time, from anywhere. TFS was absolutely amazing and extremely affordable, much better than the other quotes we had received.

Great Service

TFS, Tucson, provides excellent service. From advice and estimates, through installation and after-sale support, TFS staff have been consistently responsive and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend them without reservation. The web site is great!

The TFS crew was unquestionably the best we have ever had working here. They communicated well, and always had a positive attitude. They left the work area spotless at the end of each day, often better than when they began. The work they did both inside and outside the house was completely professional, and done to very high standards. We had been considering solar for a few years, and we are completely happy with the way the company handled our job from start to finish – bid to completion. We would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone considering a similar installation, and intend to use them again this year to install solar hot water heating.

the installation crew was prompt and friendly, and worked to accommodate my wife`s and my schedules. They did a great job, got the inspections done, and explained the system to us. Overall an excellent experience.

TFS was a wonderful organization to work with on our PV installation. Their staff was always friendly and very responsive to emails and calls. There was never any hassle dealing with install or in the paperwork required to complete the job. The staff was extremely knowledgable and thorough, and were super passionate about sustainability. We loved working with TFS and would be happy to recommend them to other people and businesses that are interested in installing a PV system. Additionally, we would definitely go back to using them again if we continue to complete further upgrades on our property (ie. solar hot water and water catchment).

This is our second house to have solar-electric installed. The company that did our first house found TFS for us and did all the up-front work. We did everything on this project long distance (we being in Denver and TFS in Tucson) via phone or e-mail. TFS has been a dream to work with. They have been totally professional. We told TFS that we would be coming to Tucson sometime around the 1st of December and would like the work to start around then. The start date was set for the December 1st. Just under two weeks later the project was complete and we were up and running, watching our meter run backwards. What fun.

I spent my summer having 7 to 8 companies give me estimates and presentations regarding their systems and their customer service. After i tabulated all the info and sat down and compared what they had to offer, i felt that TFS would provide the best product at price that i could work with. they even helped me out with some in house finance options. i was impressed by the workers that came out to work on my system. they finished on time, the system looks great and more importantly it is working well. I would recommend TFS to anyone looking at a PV system. they also do some cool work free of charge for non-profit programs. my church received a free solar water heater system for our showers that we use for the homeless. the cost of something like that would have been about 4 thousand dollars..very cool!

Wonderful, knowledgible people dedicated to their work and a pleasure to be around.

Extremely professional and pleasant experience thru all aspects of the project.
