First do not get stuck with the DC pool pump. waste of money. Put panels in grid. Next when they sell you the panels they like to say If you need a new roof later we will come out and remove and reinstall panels, They do not say for free. OK . Now her is the real complaint, I have tried for about 30 days to get a call back. Or any response. 5+ phone calls 3 or more emails those over the last 2 weeks. They do not reply. There service has been horrible. And expensive.

TBS (Tampa Bay Solar) just recently completed a 31 panel installation for me at 214 Craft Rd, Brandon, FL. I am well pleased with all aspects of this project. Solar is the new "Wild West" of disreputable businesses. I kicked out two (2) competitors before the name TBS was provided to me on the NextDoor app. Everything about TBS was played straight by them, from the office staff to sales to installation to services. I would heartily recommend them. I just rec'd today the permission from the energy company for this area, TECO, to fire it up. And it came up nicely & the AC output continues to climb.

A huge shout out to Keith L. at TB Solar. Unfortunately I used a different company originally for my original installation, but was referred to Keith and TB Solar. Keith came out and was efficient, communicated, knowledgeable and ... honest (something that many other solar companies are clearly not known for). After a year of frustration, I was so happy to find these guys and would highly recommend them. Any savings I received up front with the other guys were wiped out with the lack of production for more than a year and certainly not worth the frustration I had with them. I love my system now. Thanks a lot TB Solar!

I have had Solar with Tampa Bay Solar for over 2 years now. I have never had an issue with my solar. Anytime I have ever need anything they are very helpful to walk me through the steps. I recently did have an issue with my inventors, as they were not connecting to the WIFI. They were connected and suddenly were no longer connected. Keith Lawrence walked me through the steps to reconnect the WIFI. Unfortunately, that did not work. Keith scheduled an appointment and came out to my house. Keith was able to quickly trouble shoot my connectivity issue and get the inventors re-connected to the home WI-FI. Tampa Bay Solar has always been wonderful to me. From my initial experience with their sales Manager - Matt P. To the ladies answering the calls, to Keith and the installers. I have neighbors who constantly have issues with their solar and it not working correctly, but with Tampa Bay Solar that has never been an issue with my home.

I had a great experience with Tampa Bay Solar. I had my solar panels installed over 5 years ago by a company that has gone out of business. I started having issues, turned out it was my inverter, and every company I called said they don’t service panels they didn’t install. Tampa Bay Solar was the only company that not only scheduled an appointment right away, but they diagnosis the problem on the phone and said it was covered by the warranty. They have excellent customer service, everyone I worked with on the phone and in person were extremely professional, they explained everything clearly. The crew worked in the scorching hot sun to get me up and running again and set everything up so I am now able monitor my panels on an app on my phone. I highly recommend Tampa Bay Solar for all your solar needs!

Everyone I worked with at this company, from the sales rep who came to my home, to their in-office staff who went over all of the charges with me, to the crew who came to my home to add a battery were extremely professional and would recommend to anyone that you work with folks like this. They explained everything clearly and made sure I would be able to work with them to keep monitoring my new system. Yes...I recommend these people if you are looking to add solar panels and back up batteries to your home or business!

The foreman took the time to explain to me the operation of our new system, just a great way at putting my mine at ease. After nearly getting ripped off by a door-to-door solar scammer, I did more research and found Tampa Bay Solar. Their prices are FAR more reasonable than the numerous scams in the area, and they helped me get a fine system installed at a fraction of the price the other guys were trying to get. Highly recommend!

They came highly recommended by not only a neighbor but our county building inspector and they were picked by our Citrus County solar co-opt to be their preferred installer. From start to finish from Ben the salesman, to Nicole and Renee in the office to Drew and the rest of the gang that came out to do the installation, couldn't ask for a better experience! When the county inspector came out to do the final inspection we had a long chat about the quality of the workmanship in our area and myself being a retired Union Carpenter / Superintendent on numerous multi million dollar projects including nuclear power plants and coal fired energy plants we had a lot to talk about because we understand each other. Needless to say Tampa Bay Solar passed with flying colors going way above and beyond what is required by code. My only regret is not going solar sooner! Would highly recommend Tampa Bay Solar for all your solar needs!

Excellent Experience with Tampa Bay Solar! You don't experience customer service like this much any more. Starting with Ben in sales to Dan and his team installing the system it was a great project. In fact they were able to get the job completed ahead of schedule with no issues! The finished product was outstanding and no corners were cut. Bang for the buck a great deal and would highly recommend them. Next day the pool was at 88 and we were all in for hours!

We had TB Solar put in a full system (11kHH) last spring. They were easy to deal with, showed up when promised and completed the whole job in 3 days. The system us pretty much in the background, and my power bill had dropped to the connection fee most months, for a 3000 sq ft all electric home. The system has only had one problem (a ground fault triggered by a squirrel chewed wire). TB Solar was out in 24 hours to repair it and get us back up and running. Overall, it has been a great experience.

The only thing I had to do was say "yes" and everything else was taken care of for my Solar System. We are very pleased with the professionalism of all aspects of the installation. Everything was taken care of as promised from the beginning. The county inspector commented that everything was as required and more. We would highly recommend Tampa Bay Solar if you are looking into installing a solar system.

Great company - no BS no sales nonsense - no pushy sales tactics - great company !

Tampa Bay Solar installed my 11.7K system in August 2018. I got American made panels with a 25-year performance warranty, and Tampa Bay offered a 10-year labor and workmanship warranty. I'm not worried about hikes on TECO rates anymore! Also important for me, their crew is not subcontracted and there was an electrician on site.

Painless process, so glad we did it and Mother Earth is happy, too!

We had a 11.97kw system plus a solar pool pump, Steve and his installers were great to work with and did a a beautiful job of installing the equipment, it looks great and we are extremely happy with the installation

We have had our rooftop solar system for approximately one year and are very pleased with our system. We enjoy the cost savings each month from our lowered electric bill and have not had one issue with the system. Steve Rutherford and his team were very professional and Steve was very honest with the cost savings proposal. After doing the math and factoring in the federal energy credit it was the right decision for us. We enjoy looking at the website which provides the information about our systems daily functions, Going solar helps us feel like we are contributing in a positive way to our environment. Tampa Energy Solutions has one of the most professional staff we've ever seen. From beginning to end our purchase, order and install were handled with the attention and care we always hope for, but seldom see. Each member of the team worked quickly and efficiently; each member took the time to answer our questions and explain the system to us.

Electric bills have been reduced by 80% even during the warmest months. I expect some months with credits when it cool off. System operates hands free and monitoring app very nice
