The quality of the components — panels, inverters, racking, etc. — was excellent, pricing was fair for the scope and location, and communication was clear and consistent throughout the process. Like most residential solar projects, there were a few coordination details that could have been smoother, but nothing that detracted from the final outcome. I have had two solar systems installed through Sunsense and have been happy with both processes. The second system was rather complicated to install. Despite a lot of upheaval in the solar world regarding tax incentives, Sunsense was able to install the sytem the way we wanted and in a timely fashion which was not an easy feat given the need to pivot on our original plan. The follow-up assistance is top-notch as well. Great crew!

We’ve wanted to get off the grid for a long time because of Xcel’s constant pricing games and lack of transparency. At one point, I got the highest bill I’ve ever had while I was out of town on vacation for a month, and their suggestion was to check if neighbors were stealing my power. That was the moment I knew I needed a better solution. After doing my research and talking to different companies, Matt from Sunsense stood out immediately. His expertise, confidence, and clear explanations gave us the trust we needed to move forward. A year before committing, Matt walked us through the entire plan and what it would take. When the changes to the solar tax credit hit, we finally pulled the trigger. The system we installed: - 7.82 kW DC rooftop solar array with REC 460W Pure-RX panels - Tesla Powerwall 3 (11.5 kW / 13.5 kWh) with Backup Gateway 3 The process took some time, which we expected, but Matt stayed in touch throughout—even when he wasn’t directly involved in the installation. His check-ins and support made the whole experience seamless. Now that we have full transparency into what we’re producing, storing, and using, I only wish we had done this years ago. Sunsense and Matt made it possible, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for solar in Colorado.

Professionally run organization

A thoroughly professional experience from initial bid to installation to follow up. Mostly kept me in the loop and if they didn’t, a quick phone call got me back in. This is probably my biggest complaint of other businesses is a failure to keep me posted on progress, particularly with un-returned phone calls. This was not the case with Sunsense.

We are super excited to have our new solar installed and running as we speak. Cristian Basso was great to work with, answered all my many questions and communicated the whole way through. The installers and scheduling people were also extremely nice. I asked the installers to come inside to meet our 2 Newfoundlands so when they were working outside the dogs already knew they were OK :) I know this is not a normal request but was very helpful, and I so appreciated it. Installation of a residential solar system

Sunsense walked us through the project step by step and were very easy to work with. We are happy with the results and will recommend them to friends and neighbors. Panel availability delayed the project and slightly increased the price, but we were able to get higher subsidies by postponing until 2023.

Great solar planning, execution and service.

Very good customer service - on our vacation home. Matt and the team were able to plan, coordinate rebates, deal with the power company and get everything installed even with part shortages, etc. Also were great about a rebate that expired before install - kept their end of the deal. Now we are our own little power company.

I requested bids from multiple providers with Sunsense Solar being listed as an HCE preferred installer. The engagement stood out from all other options from the start with Cristian Basso providing immediate attention and quick responses to all of my questions and concerns. He took the time to discuss thoroughly the options proposed, rebates/tax incentives available and tweaking the proposals to meet my needs from a timing and budget perspective. The professionalism and attention to detail performed by the technicians installing on the roof, and their master electrician installing all components and managing the permit process was top notch. The walkthrough after the install, through HCE energizing the system a review of the documentation for my records was given the attention to detail beyond my expectations. Even after all was done, any followup questions were quickly answered by their experts. I would highly recommend them.

Can't say enough about how great Sunsense team and Cristian Basso in sales have been! the whole process was was really painless and rewarding. From working out how to finance this project to the install it was so easy. They came when they said they would and it was built in the time frame they promised. I had only one issue a year later with a single third party part (Solar optimizer). Sunsense were able to diagnose the issue remotely, contacted the manufacturer and warranty the part. They guys stopped by the next day and had it fixed in minutes!!
