Sunsense Solar

We had a great experience with Sunsense. The quality of the components — panels, inverters, racking, etc. — was excellent, pricing was fair for the scope and location, and communication was clear and consistent throughout the process. Like most residential solar projects, there were a few coordination details that could have been smoother, but nothing that detracted from the final outcome. We’re very happy with the system and would absolutely recommend Sunsense to others considering solar in the Roaring Fork Valley.

A thoroughly professional experience from initial bid to installation to follow up. Mostly kept me in the loop and if they didn’t, a quick phone call got me back in. This is probably my biggest complaint of other businesses is a failure to keep me posted on progress, particularly with un-returned phone calls. This was not the case with Sunsense.

We are super excited to have our new solar installed and running as we speak. Cristian Basso was great to work with, answered all my many questions and communicated the whole way through. The installers and scheduling people were also extremely nice. I asked the installers to come inside to meet our 2 Newfoundlands so when they were working outside the dogs already knew they were OK :) I know this is not a normal request but was very helpful, and I so appreciated it. Sunsense walked us through the project step by step and were very easy to work with. We are happy with the results and will recommend them to friends and neighbors. Panel availability delayed the project and slightly increased the price, but we were able to get higher subsidies by postponing until 2023.

Very good customer service - on our vacation home. Matt and the team were able to plan, coordinate rebates, deal with the power company and get everything installed even with part shortages, etc. Also were great about a rebate that expired before install - kept their end of the deal. Now we are our own little power company.

I requested bids from multiple providers with Sunsense Solar being listed as an HCE preferred installer. The engagement stood out from all other options from the start with Cristian Basso providing immediate attention and quick responses to all of my questions and concerns. He took the time to discuss thoroughly the options proposed, rebates/tax incentives available and tweaking the proposals to meet my needs from a timing and budget perspective. The professionalism and attention to detail performed by the technicians installing on the roof, and their master electrician installing all components and managing the permit process was top notch. The walkthrough after the install, through HCE energizing the system a review of the documentation for my records was given the attention to detail beyond my expectations. Even after all was done, any followup questions were quickly answered by their experts. I would highly recommend them.

Sunsense did a great job with our solar array. They were really great to work with, helped coordinate everything with Xcel for net metering, and explained everything very well. The folks that did the installation were very polite and professional.

With these reviews, why would you hire some guy from junction that cold called you or knocked on your door? These guys worked with us to get the size array we wanted at a price point that worked. Their in-house team of electricians even completely replaced and upgraded our panel. Go Solar ... Go Local.

We did not go wrong with Sunsense! Our experience with them was excellent from the consultation to design to final installation and energizing of the system. Operation of the 9KWH Rated System with 27KWH of storage via Tesla Power Walls is working wonderfully and even with the late winter conditions we are darn close to off the grid living. Look forward to many years of energy independence thanks to the Sunsense Team of Experts.

We just love our solar panels! We had a few little hick-ups in the installation timing but Tyler and his team were very quick and courteous in their responses and settling any concerns I had. Sunsense did a wonderful job installing our solar and we are very pleased with it. The only problems that we had with the installation had to do with Excel Energy, not with Sunsense. Everyone at Sunsense was timely, knowledgable and friendly. The installers made several trips out of their way to check on us and make sure everything was working well. I would recommend installing solar in your home and highly recommend Sunsense to put it in for you.

Can't say enough about how great Sunsense team and Cristian Basso in sales have been! the whole process was was really painless and rewarding. From working out how to finance this project to the install it was so easy. They came when they said they would and it was built in the time frame they promised. I had only one issue a year later with a single third party part (Solar optimizer). Sunsense were able to diagnose the issue remotely, contacted the manufacturer and warranty the part. They guys stopped by the next day and had it fixed in minutes!!

Christian was just the best! He held my hand during the ENTIRE process. He was incredibly patient with my thousands of questions and even more phone calls. This is our second system. The first was installed at our home and, while we're satisfied with the service, we switched to Sunsence for the insdtallation at our office. Sunsence has provided outstanding service from the beginning--and, after examining several different systems, we're convinced that sunpower is the best out there. We're pleased to recommend the combination of Sunpower wnad Sunsence and we have been recommending them to our friends.

This project consisted of installation of 44 265 watt solar electric panels on south-facing roof with slope 0f 12:12. Sunsense had to coordinate with roofing contractor who also was on-site. All work from preliminary design, installation, commissioning to final O &M manual was handle in a very professional manner.

Sunsense solar did a great job from start to finish with my solar project. My build was small compared to many of the jobs they do, yet I was given just the same amount of attention and quality as maybe a pricier project would receive. Besides the actual build and installation they also take care of all the leg work and paperwork needed to get your rebates. All I had to do was sign various documents and they took care of everything else. I am most satisfied with their work ethic, customer service, and ease in which to encourage people to use sustainable energy. After working with them and seeing how easy it was I wonder why more people don't use solar!

Sunsense installed our first PV system 7 years ago. It's worked flawlessly. When we decided to double the size of our array we went right back to them. They clearly explained every step of the process and how the utility rebate structure has changed. All aspect of their service, from design and specification through installation and commissioning, was completely professional. Every member of their team is an absolute pleasure to deal with. We give them our highest recommendation.

Overall, an excellent experience. SunSense listened to our needs and designed a system to meet our criteria. They were very helpful with rebates and incentives. Price was very competitive, less than we expected. Installation was very smooth and professional.

Excellent service given by Sunsense.

I have a 23 year old off grid system. Sunsense recommended a inverter/controller upgrade, to make my old panels more efficient. They worked hard and fast the day of install. It was like a bull in a china cabinet. They rock and rolled, never stopping. I loved the fact that they were prepared for anything. Lots of times when you have service people come up to a remote off grid location, they are not prepared and it turns into a nightmare. Sunsense has it totally together sincere in every way.

Great company to work with!

They are great - Aplusplusplusplus. Super nice and responsive. There was no cost to us for purchase or installation since it was a lease agreement with SunPower. Sunsense handled all the paperwork.

Sunsense was great, but Xcel Energy significantly delayed the set up and progress of the project.
