Scammers!! Horrible customer service !! Do not use
Long story short, they installed the services on three of my properties.. Once installed, nowhere to be found to start the service with them. Customer service gets back to no-one. Got letters on all three properties that they want to charge me $50,000 per installation. I reached out to the reps on each letter and of course, after replying that they would look in to it, they disappear no matter how many follow ups I make. To me, it feels like scam or super poorly/disorganized organization on their end.

One of the worst experiences of my life...
If there was a minus rating option, I would choose it. I am almost at 3 years since I signed up with them. There is been no attempt from them to resolve this issue. They escalate to a manager who doesn't not offer any solution, instead repeats the same sentence: "we apologize, we are working on it". There needs to be a class action suit in NY against them. Working with a lawyer to sue them!!!

won't be doing business with them
I set up a consultation, confirmed via text. They confirmed as well via text. I work at a call center so I can't answer my personal phone. The day of the consultation came, I waited for 3 hours and no one showed up. I texted the number back informing them that I couldn't wait any longer and I had another appointment to get to. They responded an hour later with a generic text stating that they've been trying to reach me. I've decided not to go through sunrun but now they call me incessantly to set up another consultation. So much so that I have to block the number. If they can't even act professionally and reliably for a consultation what would working with them look like? I'm aggravated that this happened, but happy that it showed me that this is not a company I would be happy working with.

Professional and hardworking
Crew arrived promptly and set right to work. They were courteous and professional. We were amazed how fast the installation went. Sean kept us informed on every step of the installation. They did a great job of cleaning up too!

Horrible Installation/Damage Not Repaired
Leaks on a new roof developed after solar installation by Sunrun. After investigation on the roof there were holes and damage from moving mounts and shoddy installation. Damage was noticed by an independent source when installation of an AC unit was conducted. Sunrun came out through Nova Source. They said the damage was sealed, (which it wasnt) and they were not responsible for the leaks or damage to the roof. After getting emails from someone called an ESCALATOR denying responsibility and that they were done with the matter I was left with a leaky roof, damage d by Sunrun. Although photos of the damage clearly show moved installation mounts and brackets and nail holes through the weed and rood Sunrun washed their hands of the matter. I requested a further visible inspection to see what other damage was caused during the installation that may not be readily visible they denied that request as we.. Do not buy solar through Sunrun. I cannot over emphasize enough how the incompetency and uncaring attitude of this company becomes evident after they get your money.

Worst mistake we've ever made
The work didn't pass inspection TWICE. Now our roof is leaking. The whole thing was supposed to take a week, it was several months before they finished! The house is only 9 years old, 50 yr warranty on the tile roof is probably voided because them. My liv Ing room ce.iling will need to be repainted at a minimum, if not re-sheetrocked. Our drywall is now wet wall. The roofer we hired to repair this damage says that last year he did over 300 repair jobs after Sunrun had done an installation. I didn't tell him the name of the solar company: HE told ME! Stay away from Sunrun.
