Garett at SunHeat Solar makes all the difference

I did a lot of "shopping" and investigating before selecting to work with Garett's company SunHeat Solar. We live in Illinois and when the SREC's were introduced, solar companies started popping up like weeds everywhere. Suddenly, everyone claimed to be solar experts, even though they had only been in business for a year or less. Garett and his company proved the exception. Garett has been working in this area for decades. While you may not have heard of him or his company, he's worth at least including in your calls to get an estimate. Pro's: -Extremely knowledgeable about solar -Worked with me to find the right system value (ie total cost vs system production) -Handled the SREC process from start to finish -Completed the work on-time. We've worked with many different contractors for other projects on our house, and only about 50% of the time did the project get completed on the timeline originally relayed. The ones with delays were typically months delayed, so it was refreshing to have Garett complete the install on-time. -Not only is Garett extremely knowledgeable, but he actually had the most competitive total price Con's: -Since Garett doesn't do a lot of advertising, you won't find much information on him or his company. Our original install was in 2019 and now in 2022, we're actually expanding our system as we purchased a plug-in hybrid and our total energy usage has increased. We contacted Garett and he's on the job!

Garret is a great guy to work with. We got to know him well and learned he is an involved father, he exhibited patience communicating with our autistic grandson, and he earned our dogs' trust. They don't trust many people. Those traits speak volumes about his character.. He is knowledgeable, honest, hard-working, respectful and installing solar panels is more than just a job for him. It's his passion. We encountered some delays obtaining permits from Will County but once we met all of their demands the installation went smoothly. Everything is working well. Now we are waiting for some sunny days so we can see it working at it's full potential. If he could fix that, I have no doubt that he would

Kudo's to Garett and SunHeat Solar - install went well and everything's working as envisioned! Installed 1 year ago, at least 6 mo's with no electric charges. Still learning about the system. Garett is good to work with, responsive, hard working, low key, no big sales pitch, very competitive price, best install plan. All the paperwork takes time and still evolving - glad he's got a handle on all of that and able to help us navigate through it all.

Fantastic customer service. Carpentersville had some silly restrictions on solar which Garrett was all too happy to help me work through. System works exactly as advertised and great customer service. Can't ask for anything more. Highly recommend!

Best Solar installation company in chicago

I had requested a quote for solar panel installation on my roof, the guy from sunheat called me within 30 min of requesting a quote & asked me few question and answered all my question. Next day I had a quote in my inbox with all the details I was looking for. Best service I ever heard or got.

Garett did a great job with the install and answering all of my questions. He was very patient and friendly. The install went well and the system has been performing great. I would highly recommend SunHeat and in fact have passed along the reference to friends.

Garret and team were great to work with. The hot water solar heating system they installed almost 10 years ago is working great and has saved me a lot of $. I highly recommend Garret and the products that are used are top notch. John
