Sunergy Systems

This group is amazing. I interviewed 5 different groups and chose them since their personal process of identifying your solar needs, inspecting your roof for adequate accommodation for solar, determining how many panels you need and the type of panels, just to name a few, made installing panels made good sense and ease. They are also locally owned and operated. They follow up also for any concerns and monitor your system up to 25 yrs so you really develop a Longterm relationship with them. They have been great to work with and recommend them highly !

Sunergy Systems did an excellent job installing my solar panel system in October 2023. Patrick was very patient answering all my questions, and the whole process was seamless on their part. They came the day they said they would, the 3-man crew was polite and professional, and they finished on time. Once the system was finally approved by PSE and I was allowed to turn it on, Patrick checked in to see if I had any questions. I highly recommend them and have to friends who have now also hired Sunergy to install their systems. Note: PSE takes a while to process the paperwork, and you can't turn on the system until they come out. This is NOT Sunergy's fault. Patrick was completely upfront about the process and warned me that this means your system will be fully installed but you will not be allowed to turn it on until PSE says so. This can take several weeks.

We are very happy with our Sunergy experience. The initial contact, design, and install all went well and everyone we talked to throughout the process was pleasant, professional, and informative. Greg Williams was our design consultant. He was very patient as we went through the process of working on bid with multiple vendors and went through a few iterations on scope. He was a wealth of knowledge and helped and supported us when we ran into a potentially sticky permitting issue. I want to add too that I wondered if we might have some complicated feelings after install given the cost of putting in solar and the fact that it was discretionary / not a required project. Instead I feel nothing but joy that we are generating energy from our rooftop. And an unexpected side benefit is how well the software we are using shows us our consumption patterns that we were previously blind to; we've been able to *save* energy as well as generate it. 5 stars for Sunergy and 5 stars for going solar.

I hired Sunergy 6 years ago. Originally, they did a good job, but here are the problems I've had since the install: 1.) Leaks! There was water intrusion into the inverter!! They "fixed" it by drilling a weep hole. I don't know about you, but I'm *still* concerned about high voltage and water in the inverter! 2.) Leaks in the roof. They do not have proper on-call processes in place when their office is closed. I notified them about the leak and they were only able to get someone to the house to take a look 2 weeks later. 3.) They tried to skirt around their responsibilities to fix the actual damage in #2, and only wanted to put some caulk on the leak. Then they proposed an obviously sub-par (but cost-effective for them) solution to prey on an uninformed homeowner. 4.) They clean your panels with soap that has caused permanent stains on the panels. It has probably caused some loss of production due to this. Given my experience, I can no longer recommend Sunergy Systems.

I am thrilled with my experience with Sunergy Systems! I just reviewed my Seattle City Light bill and it's astonishing how much I am saving year over year! My bill dropped 75%! The Sunergy team was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. They were on time for every appointment and super informative. They were also cost competitive and continue to check in to make sure I understand everything. I highly recommend them!

Sunergy was very easy to work with. On schedule, showed up for meetings on time, delivered what they promised, nice people.

We originally planned back in 2009 to have Sunergy install a solar system for us when we built our retirement house. We were very impressed with their company reps and their explanations about how the process would work. The bank told us we couldn’t qualify for a large enough loan to include solar in our construction loan. 12 years later we tried again to get Sunergy to do our install and we are so pleased with the process of working with the friendly , knowledgeable, competent staff. Now, we’re enjoying paying the minimum monthly electric fee (about $8) and banking all the extra power our system is generating beyond our daily kwh needs!! Thank you Sunergy for being so great to work with!

We have had three solar systems installed by Sunergy - our current home, a rental property, and our retirement home. The last one is the largest and includes battery back up. Sunergy has been great from design, install and service. They are very responsive for the few issues that have come up and very helpful in designing an appropriate system. The schedule was a bit of an issue due to supply chain difficulty caused by Covid. Can't fault them for that.

From our first inquiry, through the sales and estimating process, installation and operation the service has been excellent from Sunergy Systems. And the system has been operating exactly as promised. And whenever I've had questions over the last few months after installation and sign-off, the Sunergy contacts have been prompt and thorough in their support.

I compared bids from 3 different companies and the Sunergy bid was comparable. I was ultimately sold on their bid offering a Sunpower system. They worked well with me on the design and sizing of the system to meet our future energy needs. The installation went smoothly and it has operated well with no issues since. I'm very pleased.

We have had nothing but oustanding service from Sunergy Systems! They are very quick to respond and their workmanship is excellent. We are super, super happy with them!

The installation took a long time due to the pandemic but that is understandable and the product seems to be very good.

So far this company has been very helpful. Austin Elkins, our sales person spent a lot of time with us going over the benefits of using solar, how it works with Gulf Power, how the panels would be installed and how the billing works. He was very informative. Then once the panels were up and wired Beth Dunlap, Inspection and Interconnection, from the solar company contacted us and she worked with Gulf Power to switch us over to the solar company. Now we are at the point for Gulf power to put a new meter on our house and turn the panels on. This is just an overview of what has happened so far. Everything seems to have been great and happened quickly. We are very pleased with the company and the people we worked with.

I evaluated 3 solar companies before choosing Sunergy. I chose Sunergy for their service and value. I was not let down. System was installed in Sept 2019, all the employees from sales to techs to installers were professional and kind. I recommend them without hesitation.

Sunergy Systems installed a solar energy system for us in 2015 after their detailed analysis predicted it would pay for itself in less than 4 years. The system was installed well and has been trouble free, and as predicted has paid for itself with net metering credit and rebates. When we decided to install a backup power system Greg Williams recommended a Tesla Powerwall which we decided was the best option for us instead of a gas powered generator. The Sunergy tech did a great job on the installation, and it is working well. I highly recommend Sunergy Systems for anyone interested in solar energy systems for their homes.

Referred by a neighbor with a newly installed system. Salesman was very through. The installers were great. The office took care of all the details with the power company.

My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Sunergy Systems since we purchased our home two years ago. We have had an incredible experience and are always impressed by the skill and professionalism of the Sunergy team. We knew Sunergy was great, but we learned just how special they are in the past year. We had an especially difficult year due to a terrible accident that severely injured my husband. We've had several interactions with Sunergy in the last year (cleaning solar panels, addressing technical issues, and coordinating changes to our account with the state incentive program). From the first meeting with Steve to the very end I felt like they were more like friends than a company who just wanted my business. They came out and installed the stand offs around my roofers schedule even though they weren’t scheduled to start my project for another few weeks. This they did this between other scheduled jobs to help me out. I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking about getting solar panels.

I highly recommend Sunergy. They are professional through and through. From our first meeting with Jon to our last when he came to go over the installed system. And everything in between with the installers and office staff. We are so happy with our panels and the job they did for us. If you are considering solar panels I would definitely add Sunergy to my list of contractors to get a bid from. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent. After getting 3 quotes, it was a no-brainer for us to go with Sunergy. And now its offsetting 98% of our energy usage! Design/quote process was thorough and zero pressure. They politely found errors on competitive designs. In the end, they were higher quality and lower price per panel (although they don't consider themselves discounters) than other offerings. They did not pressure to finance, yet gave me a referral to make financing simple. As a bonus, they have a local crew (unlike one competitor that brought in crews from Idaho or other places). The crew was super polite, clean and efficient. Double bonus is that they're employee owned, so everyone is motivated to do great for the long term and this was reflected in how I was treated. There's much more that I appreciated about working with them, but those are some highlights. We love our solar system and its already paying itself off!

A friend of mine had Sunergy Systems install a POV system several years ago and has been very happy with them and recommended them to me. They are great to work with, better price than my other estimates, better warranty than the other systems/companies I looked at. I’m very satisfied with the entire experience.

Sunergy installed an 8.3kW solar panel system on our roof. I was very happy with the entire process and I am very happy with the end-result. They were professional throughout the process and kept me informed on every step.

After years of shopping solar for our house, we finally decided it's the right time to take advantage of the new Washington State solar production incentives. Through Energy Sage website, we narrowed down to a few options. Sunergy stood out for its incredible warranty and customer service despite being not the lowest bid. We are looking for a system that is durable over time and the combination of Sunergy and Sunpower panels is the way to go. The entire process was very pleasant. Steve Tedesco is a great guy who is also very informative and patience with me. As an architect, I care about how the system impacts the look of my house. His crews are top professionals who were able to balance functionality and aesthetic seamlessly which is a quality that some of the other installers cannot afford. Their in-house support is also top notch. Melissa answered a lot of questions for me regarding tax credits and incentives program. All in all, an excellent experience that also enriches my knowledge about solar energy and installation.

Working with Sunergy was a delightful experience for us all around. Adam in Sales worked with me on a system design that evolved to a perfect balance of incentives, capacity, and efficiency. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in coaching me through the incentives and any risk to losing those incentives (ie., potential local loss of net metering, or decreasing local energy purchase rate). We mapped cost/benefit for 5 or 6 different configurations and arrived at a design that was far superior to the designs proposed by other local companies in Seattle. My house needed a lot of retrofitting to my service line, meter, and panel. The installation team had a lot of experience in residential and commercial electrician work, and so they were more than qualified and willing to make major changes to bring my whole house and system into code. Their rates were also exactly comparable to those quoted from local electricians. Though Sunergy's primary expertise is in solar installation, they can easily handle projects with a broader scope to get your project done working with fewer home service contractors. To be balanced in my review, the one and only very minor thing that I may have preferred would have been more up-front knowledge and help regarding green energy loans. They were able to recommend a bank with a great loan program, but could have offered me more information to help me cut through the loan shopping process more easily. In this Sunergy wasn't alone though, none of the companies that quoted our project were able to offer this information. This was a very small issue in general, which should say a lot about how good my experience was.

They came on time, complete the job as described, cleaned up, educated me to the system and everything passed inspection and works perfectly

When I expand my system, I will use Sun Energy

This was the smoothest job I`ve ever seen. The work was done faster than the schedule with no problems.

It took a long-time to get the net-metering installed by the city, and I had to make reminders for help, and I think the contract stated the final payment was after this was done, yet I was ask to pay by the expected date of completion

Initially I was skeptical about the 30% federal income tax rebate, but I`m happy to say that when income tax time rolled around, I was able to save $ 7000 in taxes due to cashing in an IRA, effectively reducing my start up cost of $ 21,000 to $ 14,000. Not only that, Seattle City Light ranks our household number 8 among our 100 nearest neighbors in energy efficiency. In this game, everyone`s a winner: you, us, and the planet. Thanks, guys, you made it happen!

Sunergy Systems provided outstanding service and communication. The entire team was professional, knowledgeable and responded quickly to our questions. They provided multiple design configurations and worked with us to stay within our budget. We compared prices and Sunergy offered competitive if not better pricing than some of the competitors. Overall we are extremely please with Sunergy and our new Solar system.

There is an issue with the overall total accumulator on the transformer.

Contractor was selected by "Solarize QA" and had already installed more than a dozen systems in our area, so we felt no pressing need to doubt their credentials. Essentially, "Solarize QA" provided th contractor credentials.

Great folks to work with. They worked very well with my roofing contractor for the coordinated work. Very responsive to my questions and my interest in using my computer to montitor the system. Our installation was part of a neighbor program sponsored by Solar Seattle who did the contractor bidding to pick this contractor and obtained additional discounts from the contractor based on the number of installed systems during the program. The contractor did deduct the discount before billing but not the Govmt incentives. They were very helpful to make sure I understood how to obtain all of the available incentives.

If there work corrections needed for an inspection sign-off I was unaware of them.

Sungery is great. They did a fantastic job and I consider them to be friends now as well.
