I am very satisfied with my Sunbug solar Installation, which included my house and a separate garage. Design, installation, inspections, and commissioning all went very well and on schedule. Everything was neat and laid out  nicely.  On the fly tweaks  worked well. They were not the  least expensive but it was well worth it. At every step of the way, SunBug was listening to me, keeping me informed, and taking careful notes. The Sunbug tech guys were great. Arrived right on time, got to work. The techs quickly found the roof leak under my panels, caused by *squirrels* nesting under there >:-( and fixed it. I've had my panels for 7 years and this is the first issue I've ever had. Very pleased!

SunBug botched our installation, installing only one cable from the solar panels and our house had to be torn up to solve the install problem. We gave them a pass on that, as we are all human. However, after months of service the fuses started blowing and we learned from their technician that the $50k+ system had extra cheap AC disconnects, which he said he would replace for free. His boss scolded him and after more blown fuses, with no real info, the company says they know it is the grid, not their fault and want an extra $750 to correct their poor install. So much for a warranty and good customer service.

SunBug installed our system summer 2019. That went great. But they pretty much ignore me when I ask them back to do maintenance and to fix a software problem. Over a year of emails and nothing done.

Professional and friendly. Easy to deal with. Better price than other bids I received. On time. Installation went perfectly and left the site perfectly clean. When I put an addition on my house, I will hire them again.

SunBug did a solar install on our two-family shared residence (for both units). Great experience working with the team to decide on the approach and later, working with our general contractor (who was doing a dormer for us at the time) to get the install done at the appropriate phase of the construction project. Highly recommended!

My wife looked at leasing from another company, then I looked into several other companies that I could lease from or purchase. We decided that although it was an initial expense for us on a tight budget, that the purchase would definitely be the best option. I had many questions in the beginning and its reassuring to know they are local and can come by to help. Mike was our sales rep and very knowledgeable and professional. I was installed and online since July 15, 2016 and have not paid an electric bill and gaining SREC's. Very excited about that as well. If you can do it, (in my opinion) purchasing is the way to go. Sunbug did a great job installing Solar Panels on my roof. So far everything is working great, without any glitches. They were professional, prompt and dedicated. The system was installed during the mid winter with snow and they finished it within the contracted time. It was a positive experience dealing with them from the very beginning to end.

All questions were explained thoroughly via phone as I prefer to speak to a human being, but they also quelled any doubts I had by providing everything we spoke about in writing via e-mail. From the gentleman who came out and initially spoke to me, to the site inspector, down to the install crew who were there early and knocked out the large install within a few days - every aspect of the install was seamless and very professional.

We regrettably went under contract with a national company due to a lower price but backed out of the contract as the final specs for the system did not meet the original estimate for number of panels and efficiency. I do not fault the company but they were not able to work with our specific needs. The detailed work that our Sales Representative did was very much appreciated and working through several options for panels and configurations allowed us to have a system that met our physical roof constraints, our electricity needs and budget. The installation process was extremely well organized and the crew was very professional and skilled. I have recommended SunBug to several friends and colleagues. We have been up and running for about 4 weeks now and have produced about 10kWh more than we have used and could not be happier with the system.
