I got few estimates from other companies and they were charging me 20K and more for trying to install 9 less panels and not installing a new roof which Sunation did. Alexa Papa sale representative, Scott the roof supervisor and Victor Higgins the solar installer were the most knowledgeable and professional people out there 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 The whole staff that worked on the roof and solar panels were very professional and extremely helpful with giving me all the instructions and explanations of the work that was being done. For the record I got 33 panels and a new roof as I am extremely happy with all the work. Thank you all that work for SUNation company and I am only highly recommending this company 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼.

Dave LoMonaco is a true professional. He is knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely passionate about solar energy. I first reached out to Dave after seeing so many people recommend him online. At the time, I was already working with another SUNation sales representative, but Dave took the time to review my proposal and quickly identified mistakes. He then put together a much better system design that was able to offset approximately 110% of my projected energy usage. From start to finish, Dave was there every step of the way. Even after the installation, he continued to help, including following up while I was waiting for access to the Enphase app. What impressed me most was his responsiveness. No matter how many questions I had, he always replied quickly with clear, honest, and knowledgeable answers. Installing solar is a significant investment, and I spent a lot of time researching before making my decision. Had my solar installed this weekend 11/29/25. Steve and his team arrived on time and worked so efficiently they were done mid afternoon. Every step was explained to me, a checklist at the end ensured everything was completed. You can barely notice the panels on the back of my home! From the first contact to the final install I was kept informed at every step. I highly recommend SUNation Energy if you are considering solar.

SUNation Energy really surpassed my expectations! From beginning to end, Dave and the team at SUNation treated my family with the utmost respect and consideration. Dave took the time to explain so many things to me as I was just fairly uneducated on solar but knew it was the right move. As a new homeowner, I felt totally reassured and even now if I have a question he doesn’t hesitate to lend info right away. That’s just great customer appreciation and the hallmark of a good company. The work was done expertly, from speaking and meeting with their roofing contractor Jack (who is just an absolute professional and I would consider working with him outside of this process), all the way through the panel install and the subsequent meet to help me understand how everything should work. They even worked with me to help have a tree removed that impeded the coverage on my roof, solving issues to get the job done! The process is pretty seamless, done quickly, and as the customer and homeowner you really have nothing to worry about. The products are warrantied well, and SUNation really stands behind their work. I would, and I already am, referring SUNation for anyone who is looking to get into solar. Working like a charm for us so far!

An Amazing Customer Experience From Start To Finish!

I had my second install with Sunation yesterday at my new house. The team during and before the install were very helpful, professional and courteous. Gina was great! She was always there to answer my questions in detail through out the entire process. Anytime I emailed her I always received a professional and courteous response! During the install Joe did a great job! Joe was also at my first install and I knew I was in good hands when I saw he was part of the crew! Everyone in this company from Rohan my sales representative to Gina to Joe to Tammy truly appreciates their customers! They make the process of going solar as stress free as possible! What they promised was delivered. They developed a schedule that they kept to. They explained all of the components and all of the steps to get this project done and how long they will take. The Installers were fast and efficient cleaning up after themselves. The entire install took less that 5 yours. Very happy so far.

Awesome Experience

Very professional - install went very smooth. Install techs walked us through the install process and when finished they gave us a basic run down of how system operates. Highly recommend. Very happy!

SunNation is a superb company! I chose them last year after evaluating multiple bids. They were informed, patient and very professional through the entire process. They dropped the wires into the attic so there is no ugly conduit running over the roof and siding. The installation was done in one day and job site was left spotless. Sunation was an absolute pleasure to work with! From our initial consultation with Cameron, to agreeing on the perfect system and layout for our needs, to contract and financing, through install and post-install service, Sunation has delivered on what they promised, and did the work on time. The system was installed neatly (everything is labeled, and actually blends in with the roof and siding) and is leak-free (a few storms this summer helped us confirm this, LOL). Sunation walked us through every step of the process - permitting, PSEG net metering, permits, town electrical and building inspections, and our Certificate of Compliance - and was excellent in communicating the process and next steps. Our system has been in service for several months now, and is performing exactly as expected! Our electric bill has been between $12 - $14 per month (for the backup connection to the grid), and we have already developed a bank of kw credits from our system's production in excess of our use. Everyone we had contact with from sales to installation were extremely friendly and helpful. Due to issue with our existing roof we had to postpone the installation 1yr and Sunation honored the original quote, no questions asked. Due to Covid-19 supply shortages they had to substitute panels to a different manufacturer which required additional panels which they provided at no extra charge, increasing my total output an extra 400 watts. Sunation handled all the paperwork and made for a smooth and speedy process from start to finish. 100% satisfied.

Community solar program is great

Sunation's community solar program on Long Island is an excellent program for anyone who wants to do the right thing and/or save money. Large-scale installations are more efficient and easier to maintain. Great program.

Severe Delay with Minimal Communication

We were told that we would get the system installed by 2020 and receive the 2020 credit. Fast forward to March, still waiting for installation. After we paid the deposit in September, pretty much radio silent through February. We would have gone with a different company who told us they would write off the difference if not installed in time, now we have to eat the cost. Unless you get the promised work/timeline in writing, otherwise do not make any payment.

SUNation Solar is an AWESOME Company!!! Our salesman Johnny Leach is a gentleman and is very informative on Solar Systems. It was easy to understand what he was saying to my wife and I, which made our decision easy to male and have SUNation install the Solar Panels. The company then made the process easier by doing all the leg work for us contacting PSE&G and Babylon Township for the permits needed to install our Solar System!!
