I singed my contract with solar spectrum Jan 27th 2019 took them over a year to activate my system mean while it was not up and running I was paying for the system. When they Finley turned it on in Feb 2020 system worked for 1 Month for several weeks now I have been calling customer service and Emailing they wont respond I cant get them to honor their warranty.

Solar Spectrum installed my system on 3/4/20. Then on 4/10 I received a letter from an attorney stating that a lien is being placed on my house due to the solar equipment not being paid for. I financed the equipment, however solar spectrum never paid for the equipment. Now what I’m being told is Solar Spectrum Is restructuring their company. My system is not even operational and they refuse to answer the phone. To recap I owe a 30k solar loan, I have have a 10k lien on my house and a system on my roof that does not work. Find another solar company to do business with

Sarah was a delight to work with as we researched and finalized our decision to have Solar Spectrum install solar panels on our home. Sarah's communication skills are excellent. She listens carefully, is patient and the information she shares, both on the phone and in emails, is clear and concise. Sarah is patient, sends pleasant reminders as needed, and dealt with our questions and concerns thoroughly. At one point we asked to have a design change made to accommodate the position of the bathroom stack on the roof and Sarah contacted the design specialists and engineers to insure the changes were made without a problem. Her work ethic and her communication skills are stellar. I am a nurse and as a result my schedule is varied and not predictable week to week. Sarah was more than understanding and took this into consideration as we worked with the timetable that had been established. We are thrilled with the work done and Sarah's excellent skills.

Very impressed with the hands on customer service. My signal experience help us work together to get through obstacles easily. Worst part was 10 weeks for PGE interconnect to get on line.

Very impressed with them from start to finish. I had many questions and they were able to answer all of them.

I chose Sungevity / Solar Spectrum because of the good reviews and the fact they did everything by phone or online? The whole experience was amazing, with my Project Manager, Stephen Snow doing everything possible to make the experience as flawless as possible. He was there every step of the way and made sure everything went smoothly. We needed different optimizers and he found the right person for us to make sure this happened. This inspector flew in and trained the crew how to install them. He also had the representative of the manufacturer of the panels bring the optimizers to our home. He stayed for the entire day while the job was completed. The crew with Joe in charge did a great job! Cannot say enough about working with Stephen Snow though because he basically held our hand for the duration of the Solar Spectrum experience. He was always there for us. Highly recommend your company - you choose the right people - thank you!

I just bought a home with sungevity panels already installed. I worked with blake and he explained it all and went out of his way to get me all setup. Great customer service by this company!

I called in to ask for a quote for installing a small solar system in my house. After reviewing my electricity usage and Billings, since the ROI is more than eleven years he thinks it may not be a good idea to do it now unless I really want to do it. He is honest and is not pushing me to purchase something that I will regret. I give him a five stars.

I found Alex to be personable and was interested in helping to make sure I understood the information and was no pressured to move forward with the process, I was alllowed time to "think and compare" which is important to me when making decisions of this sort

Alex from Sungevity, was very prompt to get me the design layout for my home. He made use of the most space available in order to produce the most energy. He never tried to pressure me or sell me panels in locations that would not make sense as others have (north facing roof). Very responsive to calls and emails. I would definitely recommend giving him an opportunity to assist you if you are considering solar.

Scott was very nice knowledgeable easy to talk to and there company had compete've pricing. Even though we did not choose them, the experience was pleasant.

The entire team including Alex has been awesome. Everything was upfront with no hidden items in the contract.

I had the opportunity to work with Sonny Namendorf to go solar. I was weary of the high pressure sales tactic that solar companies use. However, my experience with Sonny was he opposite. He was very open and upfront with all information, which I really appreciated. I’m still in the beginning stages of the process. But the experience has bred a pleasant one so far.

Patrick provided exceptional customer service throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything in great detail and made everything easy to understand. He went out of his way to set up the program when we faced challenges with my electricity company. Thanks for your help, Patrick! :)

Anthony has been a great salesperson and liaison regarding my options and selection of a solar system. He's very cordial and replies promptly with honesty and sincerity. He knows this field well. Always available to answer questions. Looking forward to our installation phase and completion.

Crystal was great explaining all my questions. The presentation was also good, simple easy to read and understand and got right to the point without a lot of technical jargons. Since we are in the Inspection phase, I just hope what they said they're panels can produce is accurate cuz the numbers look great. Equipment reliability would my next concern. All too early to say but lets see how the installation and integrating with PG&E looks. I'll return to post an update after seeing how much electricity it generates. I'm California and summer is approaching...can't wait to see the energy it produces but I felt the initial sales was smooth and easy, no pressure and the actual cost being that, no hidden charges.

I was extremely pleased with William Matthews, our sales representative. William exemplifies what Customer Service should be and what we too often no longer see. I can't begin to sing his praises enough. I would recommend William to any of my friends that are considering Solar.

I chose Sungevity based on good reviews, but the company has failed miserably and failed electrical installation inspections twice and the Installed inverter did not work on the day of installation. The company is claiming that it is working but refuses to verify.

My experience with Sungevity so far is very good. The design consultant Anthony who helped me is very knowledgeable and patient. He addressed all my questions. He responded promptly when I sent an email with follow up clarification queries the next day. Overall, it is a very positive experience.

Sonny was, and is, a great asset to your company in terms of his ability to identify the needs of a potential customer and bring together the financial, technical and contractual aspects of a design in addition to providing timelines and milestones throughout the process. Sonny, Eric and Marco have been very accessible during the early stages of the design phase for questions relating to cost, solar panel tech aspects, coordination with the site assessment contractors and the roofing contractors which will hopefully be working in tandem with the solar system installers to minimize damages and intrusion. So far, its been a great experience and will likely continue this review during and after the installation. One small hiccup with the agreement hinged on a bank loan that went through but not for the correct term I desired, and the Solar Spectrum team was able to keep the agreement terms and linked me with their partner Sunlight Financial, without missing a beat. I appreciated the effort Sonny took to walk me through some of the complicated aspects of having a solar system installed, and his responsiveness/insights has left a very good impression with me thus far. Stay tuned!

I'm having trouble with my solar system which is 2 years old. I've contacted the Solar Spectrum customer service 5 times with no response. Very frustrated! I've left emails, called and left messages, no reponse. This has been going on now for 2 weeks.

I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with Andrew discussing the best strategies for putting a PV system on my home. It was time well-spent. Most technical sales people get their answers from a script so I was really pleased and surprised to find out that he has an engineering degree directly related to the field he's working in. Andrew is smart, friendly without being overbearing, and truly interested in creating the best solution for his customers. He was very proficient at using the company's on-line analysis tools so he most of the information at his fingertips - and was quick to do the research to find whatever the company system couldn't provide. By the time we were done I knew roughly what the system would look like, would cost, and the pros and cons of the different ways to buy it. I need to delay my solar project by a few months but told Andrew to check in with me at the beginning of September when finances and logistics will be more favorable.

Installation was quick; completed in one day. There was a delay in getting the county inspection scheduled and then getting the inspection certificate back from the county. After that, it took only a couple of days to get Permission To Operate from the utility company. Finally able to turn the system on about a month after installation. The Project Manager was very helpful in getting through all the red tape and scheduling issues.

I did not realize installing Solar in NYC was complicated. Although there is a decent amount of incentives there is a plethora of regulations. A lot of effort needs to be dedicated to navigate the regulations of various agencies. My Project manager Mr. Evans and the Architect solar spectrum contracted (Morali Architect - Ms Catterson) were always available and helpful. They were knowledgeable and experienced. Mr. Evans saw to it that all inspections are carried out expeditely (even during blizzard conditions). When the local contractor had problems, Mr. Evans chased the contractor until all issues were resolved. At Solar Spectrum I felt they valued my business. They are responsive to emails or phone calls and at times they resolved issues in under 24 hours. I had tried other installers before Solar Spectrum. My application with Solarcity dragged from June to the end of September with no installation date. With Solar Spectrum I had the system installed within 2 months. They managed to install a larger system than what solarcity suggested, hence more savings and a larger impact on the environment. The project manager hounded the contractor, literally. They contracted a local architect who was very familiar with the process in NYC. They know the business and take care of it. They are making the planet greener a project at a time. The lead technician who installed my system was a veteran and I was very happy they were providing jobs for people who served the country. It was a very positive experience with Solar Spectrum and I recommend them highly.

We had a few bumps in the road to going solar, and Christina was instrumental in overcoming them once the problems were identified and it was clear these other aspects of installation and inspection needed close followup. Christina gave me good followup and we finally got completed installation, inspection, and permission to connect to the grid. Without her help, I'm sure we'd still be waiting.........

Zac was awesome. Always on top of everything, easy to work with, and answered all questions professionally. My solar installation was fast and extremely smooth and on schedule. Marco in sales was also awesome. He helped me on the front end of the deal and was extremely professional and helpful whenever I had any questions before signing on the dotted line. I can't be happier!

Sonny was able to understand my project very quickly and give me lots of good advice. He worked hard to give me the best pricing that he could.

We had the pleasure of working with Scott G. throughout our solar purchase process. Scott put together a comprehensive presentation and was fully knowledgeable about all the incentives, even specific to my state despite the fact that he is in Missouri. I had many follow up questions before, during and even after the purchase and Scott always replied in less than a day. We went with a nameplate system which means we had a lot of panels (49). The were installed in less than a day in the pouring rain. I strongly recommend Scott and Solar Spectrum to anyone looking to go solar.

They saved me 20k over another company's quote.

When shopping for a solar panel system we looked around and came across Solar Spectrum. Upon contacting them the sales person (Scott Gasparini) presented us the facts and details of solar systems, with options of leasing or buying outright. Since it was a major investment for us we had to take some time and review very carefully and also checked out their references. We were then convinced to with Solar Spectrum. There were no exaggerations or outrageous promises. Upon signing the contract everything went smoothly, from inspection to installation and getting permits etc. Now we are enjoying the benefits of the system.

I am very happy with my home solar power installation by Solar Spectrum. It took longer to get the approvals needed but it all worked out in the end. I will recover all cost after about 8 years in the mean time I am consuming as much electricity as I am generating which is great for our environment.

We elected to go with Solar Spectrum over Vivint Solar for a few reason, first was cost. Solar Spectrum right sized our system not just putting as many panels as possible on the roof. I personally liked the sales engagement everything was done on the phone or through email. Only the final design was done onsite. The install company was fantastic, they took the extra time run the conduit through the basement and discretely as possible up to the roof. The whole process probably took 8 weeks with getting the town approval and new meters. Since we installed in October we really haven't seen much benefit from the solar yet, as we live in New England so it gets dark pretty early. We also worked with Solar Spectrum to get all the panels on the back of the house. My only minor complaint so far is getting the SREC setup, I had to reach out multiple times to get the information on contract to that done.

Blake was very helpful and understanding with all my experience. I would 100% recommend Solar Spertrum for being a company that takes care of their customer.

It turns out after speaking with Solar Spectrum that I was not actually able to go solar and save money. My solar consultant was very honest, knowledgeable and experienced in the industry and educated me on how it all works. The best part is I can still refer my friends family and neighbors and they'll get a $1000 discount and Solar Spectrum will send me a check to my mailbox for $1,000 for every referral! Awesome program they have. I will be circling back to solar Spectrum 100% hands down if my bills ever get high enough where going solar can save me money with no investment out of pocket. My bills are only $50 a month now but I know my rates will be raising over time. This is a stand-up company that won't try to deceive you just to get the sale, proceed with confidence.

The Sungevity/Solar Spectrum consultant was friendly, very knowledgeable and helped us with our decision to "go solar". The installation went smoothly and was "as advertised" and we have been enjoying solar power now for almost 2 years. The Solar Spectrum system helped us eliminate our electric bill since day one including over the last 2 winters. One of the best decisions we made. If you are interested in reducing or eliminating your electric bill, Solar Spectrum can help... they certainly helped us.

Christina kept in touch with timely (not too often) calls and emails to make sure we were up to date with the solar installation/permitting process. We had plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and always knew what was happening so we were never left wondering, "what is going on with our solar panel installation?".

First: I did not move forward with solar from Solar Spectrum. I am writing this review to praise Jeff Landes. He was the telephone representative who helped me through the explanation of solar and how my build would look and perform through Solar Spectrum. He was amazing, and I’m sure if he was able to, he would have made the concessions to get my business. It was not his fault that he could not. I hope that any of you who call in for solar get Jeff.

Company did a great job from start to finish. My salesperson Kyle Morrison recommended purchasing a system instead of leasing like all the other companies pitched me and I am very grateful for that due to getting the solar credits from NJ. He had my best interests in mind. There was one hiccup in which their installer did not show up on time, but I called Kyle who handled it quickly and professionally. I just got turned on and everything seems to be working well.

I can't say enough about the professional experience I recently had with Jeff Landis of Solar Spectrum. l had contacted the company for information about a solar system at our house in Massachusetts. I was contacted by Jeff in a timely manner and carried on conversations over several days and at no time did he force any issue. He provided an extensive proposal that was clear and easy to understand. His explanations were excellent and he always was willing to listen. I would have no problem recommending him as a consultant.

I had a great conversation with Jeff Landes. He's the Solar Spectrum sales rep. I was working with. He was very knowledgeable, explained the process and cost associated with going solar so well. I hope to work with him again in the future.
