Solar Power Pros

We had a great experience with Solar Power Pros. It was a bit of long process, involving our local utility, but Solar Power Pros kept in contact along the way. We couldn't be happier with our Solar Panels and Tesla Powerwall. We pretty much have generated 99% of our own power since installation. After experiencing a 5 day power loss last winter, we feel confident we will not have any issues, if that should occur again. We have had a few times where the power from the grid has been turned off briefly and there wasn't even a blink from the system and when we were on the backup battery. The system is smart enough to draw power from the grid to keep the battery at 100% on red flag days. It has given us tremendous peace of mind as well as tiny electric bills. Our only regret was waiting as long as we did to do the installation.

The team at Solar Power Pros were exceptional from initial consultation to final payment. They offered the most competitive quote and American-made materials. I never felt as though they were trying to upsell me—they built my system for my specific needs and future plans. And they were communicative every step of the way, so that I was never lost in the process as I was transitioned from scoping to installation to interconnection. Plus, they managed all the paperwork with Xcel and inspectors, so I didn't have to keep track of the approval stages. Thanks, Solar Power Pros!

Solar Power Pros installed 18 solar panels and one Powerwall 3. They did a great job and kept me updated on the project - no surprises. Initially, Tesla contracted to install the equipment, but backed out as Tesla didn’t have “Tesla” approved equipment for my very common metal roof. I was very disappointed in Tesla. Go with the Solar Power Pros if you want your solar installed quickly, professionally, and they have very friendly crews.

Great experience with Solar Power Pros! I had a great experience with SPP from start to finish. Their team was very responsive and always answered my questions quickly, which made the entire process easy and as stress-free as possible. They stuck to the timeline they originally provided, and when I had to be out of town, they were flexible and worked with my schedule without any issues. I really appreciated their professionalism, communication, and reliability. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering going solar. My system install included a backup battery & inverter, panels and EV charger.

We had Solar Power Pros install a Tesla Powerwall 3 in our garage after the Xcel extended power outages last winter due to high winds. They did a thorough on-site survey, produced a detailed installation plan, and gave us a breakdown of all costs involved to connect our Powerwall 3 to our existing solar panels and provided information on how to receive discounts from Xcel and Tesla. We have had multiple power outages in the last week in our neighborhood and we never missed a beat thanks to our new power backup solution. Thank you Solar Power Pros!

Matt (representative) for Solar Power Pros, came to our home to coordinate the Windsor city inspection. Matt was very helpful and accommodating. He's a great representative, puts customers at ease.

Top Notch People, Top Notch Technology, Top Notch People

Everyone was knowledgeable, professional, skilled, and responsive to our questions. They designed an excellent system of high quality panels and battery system that match for our home and our needs.

Excellent Service

Considering the investment of time and money in solar, it’s so important to have a company that you trust to be reliable on time and to provide customer service as needed. Solar Pros was perfect and met all my criteria. They even came back to help correct a problem that was not created by them. They also sent an inspector over for free after a hail storm to check my system and ensure that there was no damage thank you so much, Solar Pros.

Update: Post Sales Service Second to None!

I would like to say that since the installation of my solar system by Solar Power Pros several years ago, they have been extremely responsive to any service request I placed with them in the rare instances required. They are always there for you and respond promptly. This is a significant reason why I chose this company over many other solar providers. Go with them - you won't be disappointed!

Fast and efficient contract signing to operating over holidays

Solar Power Pros were terrific. 12 panels on our south facing roof. They were always responsive to our questions, and the installation process was explained every step of the way. They got the job done even more quickly than promised. We signed a contract on 12/17/24 and with the holidays the equipment didn't arrive until 1/15/25 but the installation only took a day. We passed inspection 10 days later and we expected to have to wait as long as three weeks for Xcel to give us the go-ahead. But that came within one week and then we were up and running. Thanks so much to all the staff at Solar Power Pros who each did their part to make us sure that we had chosen the right company for this job.

Great experience

I’ve had my system for a year plus now and I highly recommend Solar Power Pros. I went with them over many others because of the good things I had heard about them and they didn’t disappoint. The entire process from sales through installation was smooth with very direct communication. Highly recommended.

Great service from planning through installation.

Great service

There were some bumps in the road for rebates but they haven't been the installers fault. The install was fast and smooth and they worked with us on the best place to install the powerwalls. I would definitely work with them again

Repair dead system

My Enphase system was installed in 2012 by a previous owner and needed removal for roof replacement in 2023. I hired the original installer for the job. When he removed the equipment, he discovered squirrel damage to the wiring. The installer said he would repair the damage, re-install the equipment and a "critter guard" to prevent further damage. When the roof was replaced, he taped the squirrel damage and reinstalled the system. It worked well until June 11, 2024 when it failed completely and couldn't produce power. I attempted to contact the installer, got no response and called Solar Power Pros. I told Jimmy Jessup about my problem and he said he'd have a technician come over August 8. Karl, the tech, arrived 8/8 at 8 and gave the system a thorough inspection. He found one inverter with taped squirrel damage on the output connector which was shorted and showing fire damage, inverters and wiring harnesses laying on the roof, no bonding wires on the frames and supports, the original earth grounding wire was gone and the junction box wiring was a mess. Karl worked all day on that mess and took photos of it before and after his repair work showing the system was properly wired and was working as before when he finished. Thank Jimmy, Karl and Solar Power Pros for the great customer service and competent work. I highly recommend this team!

PPS personnel were both professional and efficient. The on-site workers (installation) was especially respectful enjoyable.

Great Team, Great Result

I had a terrific experience with Solar Power Pros who installed 15.7 kW of rooftop solar and 2x Powerwall 3's in my garage. From the informative and pressure free sales calls with Kevin, the excellent project management from Bill and Lauren who answered my many questions along the way, to the roof team led by Josh and the especially amazing electrician's Mike and Eric who left my house better than they found it and took extra care to make the finish look amazing, I could not have asked for more from the team and they delivered. Jimmy and Karl have also been great supporting the system commissioning and finalizing a few small details. My deep thanks to he whole team at SPP, I could not recommend the team more highly. - Dan R.

Living up to their name

Solar Power Pros handled our purchase and installation with ease and confidence. From the specification, quoting, project design, calculating rebates, assisting with financing, working with Xcel Energy, installation, and commissioning of the system, it was seamless and efficient. An all-around team effort and painless for the homeowner. Then we had zero energy bills for five months, low bills in the winter, and a surplus of 22% energy generation/usage after a year. At $200/ month savings,

EASY/HIGH VALUE/PROMPT- CHOOSE THEM & SAVE YOUR TIME!

Wow! Working with Solar Power Pros was so easy and satisfying! They had the most up to date panels. The job was finished on time and professionally. No subcontractors. No hiccups. The magic is that out of the 4 companies I checked out, they were the cheapest per kWh. I wish every home project was this easy, economical, and done so promptly

Friendly, Knowledgeable and Experienced Solar Professionals

Brad and the team at Solar Power Pros was really helpful in taking the time to make sure we understood how solar and how the entire process works. Appreciate them giving fair pricing, smooth installation process and making us feel happy with our solar installation decision! Couldn't be happier!

Everything from start to finish was explained clearly, and the work was done on time. I explored several other solar quotes before landing with Solar Power Pros. Their prices were competitive , and their reviews stood out from the rest.

Great experience

We got solar installed and have been so happy with our system since. Solar Power Pros were informative and installed without a hitch.

Amazing

Solar Power Pros was the right choice for me. I did my research and they had the best pricing and reviews. They helped me understand the process, which can be confusing

Game Changers

I recently had a solar system installed by Solar Power Pros, and it's been an absolute game-changer. Right from the start, their approach was refreshingly straightforward—no pushy sales tactics, just clear and competitive pricing. After shopping around and speaking to a dozen companies, their offer stood out for its value. The installation process itself was a breeze thanks to their punctual and communicative team. They respected my time, showing up exactly when they said they would, and kept me in the loop at every step. Any minor hiccups, which were few and purely procedural requirements from the city inspector, were handled promptly and efficiently. I was particularly impressed by how hands-off the whole process felt for me; they took care of all the necessary paperwork and permits, making it stress-free. I can't recommend Solar Power Pros enough and have every intention of referring my friends and family to them. Their combination of competitive pricing, professional service, and hassle-free installation makes them a top choice for anyone considering solar power.

SAVING EVERY MONTH THNKS TO YOU!

Solar Power Pros did an excellent job with our solar project. We were new to the home at the time, so there was some guess work involved with the system size. a little over a year later, we have a $20 electric bill on average and our system nearly covers everything including our EV. Great job on everything!

Great service

Excellent service and pricing. Thank you!

Solar PV installation at Colorado Place

We appreciated the professionalism and quality work done by Solar Power Pros on our 14.3 KW PV system installed on our house. Their knowledge about panel and invertor options was outstanding! We particularly appreciated the persistence shown from the Solar Power Pros team to get Xcel Energy's staff on-site to inspect and turn on our system! We highly recommend them to everyone we talk to about solar PV!

Need better post-installation customer care

We had a great experience working with Solar Power Pros. They were knowledgeable, courteous, and professional, and their price was very competitive. I would have given them a five-star review, but unfortunately their post installation customer care needs improvement. When something wasn't working (inverter malfunctioning, gateway not reporting, for instance), I'd email and call but wouldn't hear back from them, and I'd do it all over again. Maybe someone would get in touch; maybe not, and I'd have to try a third time. At one point our first project manager quit, and no one told us, so I kept emailing her. Later finally someone told me she left and we got a new person. This is no way to run a business! I know their business is growing but you can't forget your established customers! You have to keep taking care of them.

Professional Solar Company

Simply a well organized professional company. We started our search for Solar in January, knowing we were upgrading our HVAC system meant it would be a good time to go Solar also. We reached out to 3 locally owned companies (that was important to us). Only 2 responded. Our sales person Jordan was courteous, prompt and professional during ever step of this process, he represented the company and their products at the highest level. Getting answers to every question we had. Once our deal was signed, Lauren and the installation team(s) were great to work with and their was nothing to worry about as there emails, phone calls or texts kept us in the loop through the whole process. Lauren even kept us in the loop with our Power Company United Energy so we knew what was happening with the new meter install. 5⭐stars for UP also it only took 5days to install new meters after final inspection. From start to operational it took ONLY 56 calendar days and our system has been producing more KWH on average per day than what we currently consume. THANKS to everyone involved. Highly recommend you to anyone considering Solar Power.

Reliable

The work progressed on schedule other than for adverse weather conditions and I had a contact person for questions that responded promptly. I am very pleased with this company and have no issues or complaints.

Very happy with Solar Power Pros

Our system has been active for about a month and no issues yet. SPP made the process very painless from sales to activation. I would definitely recommend Solar Power Pros to anyone looking into solar.
