I spent over 1 hour on the phone with Matthew on 9/5/2025 asking questions. He was suppose to get back to me with answers. As of 10/3/2025, no response from this company. When I called them and asked to speak with Matthew, they just hung up. IF THERE WAS A NEGATIVE STAR RATING SYSTEM, I WOULD GIVE THEM THE MAX NEGATIVE STAR RATING AVAILABLE!!!!

I’m really happy with my investment. I checked with Ameren MO and my bill next month is projected to be 24 dollars. Last month on budget billing it was 236.

Shinnova Home + Solar did an excellent job with our solar power installation. The project progressed smoothly from start to finish, culminating with the utility company granting permission to operate our system on the production day.

The company came out went over to the work I asked them not to dig under my keystone wall and concrete steps and they did it anyway and my wall started to collapse within a year after the work. They dug a hole next to my barn removed the asphalt that I had installed and they never replaced it and it has ruined the foundation and structure of my barn due to water undermining the structure. I got in touch with them and they put me off for months then one of their employees came out admitted it was their fault due to poor work and negligence they sent someone out give a bid for just the wall damage and the bid came out to $11,000 and the came back to only offer me $1000 for damages that is not even including the damages to my barn now they have continued to ignore me when I told them that it was unacceptable when all damages were their fault. I hope this helps people not choose this company. Negative stars if possible.

We had a residential solar system installed about 5 years ago including construction of a driveway overhang for panels. It operates fine and has had updates, checks for weather damage, and a panel cleaning. We are very satisfied with these results and the company, Shinnova. We recommend them to our neighbors and friends.

Our entire experience with Shinova Solar was fantastic! From signing the contract until they day our system was turned on, the entire team was available and quick to answer our questions. I would pick them over and over again! Don’t wait! Just do it!

Great Product and Service All Around!

I first saw the company's display at the Mother Earth News Fair and liked what I saw! They installed the equipment in a very efficient and professional manner.

Started saving on electric right away

Turn key process start to finish. They have great systems/processes and always follow up. I had panels put on my newly built pole barn. When I had the barn built, I had to pull my own permits and arrange inspections (PITA, lots of time and stress). With the solar from shinnova I literally didn't have to do anything, it was really nice. They spec'd the system to my needs, pulled permits from city and power company, installed (with their very good in-house crew), and got final inspections. I didn't have to mess with any of it. They even have an accounting firm that does all of the forms needed for your next tax season included in the deal. They guarantee the output of the system and can remotely tell if there are any issues. I have had the system a couple of months now and my power bills have gone from $300+ this time of the year to $35 ($14.50 of which is a standard 'customer charge which they charge everybody). Also, the Enphase app is great and easy to use.

everything is as stated, works great, have the ability to track what my panels are creating. People with Shinnova are amazing.

Over a year since installing. still not working. Job is not not complete. Very poor customer service.

The consultant who came to my house to explain the benefits and costs of the solar panels was thorough and didn't promise what he couldn't deliver. The savings are about the same as the payment but in 20 years, when the cost of energy is still going up the solar panels will be paid for.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped me calculate my usage and future savings. They do their best to make sure I get all of the tax credits possible.

From start to finish Shinnova Solar was great to deal with. Cole the sales rep was very knowledgeable on the product & design layout. He was also helpful in getting the plans we needed to provide to our HOA. Once we Signed up it remained an easy process. Shinnova Solar took care of all of the permits with the city. Once permits were obtained the install date was Set and the crew stayed very organized and on the timeline communicated for the scope of work. Once the installation was complete they worked with electric company to have dual meter installed, provided instructions on how To use the monitoring app. After we were live with solar being generated there was 2 Different follow up calls to make sure we were satisfied with product and everything was functioning properly.

They had great reviews, seemed like they had some of the best products and warranties around, and made us feel like they truly cared about our experience.

Love my solar system! I have a large system at my farm, installed in a field. The engineers who designed it were so professional & were very nice guys! Whenever there is a problem with my system, they come down & take care of it! They modified the power boxes so it wasn’t as huge & ugly! I love cutting my energy bill to almost nothing all summer, and winter bill is a lot less than it used to be! I highly recommend Shinnova!

I haver had my solar panels for 20 months and they have done everything promised with no problems of any type. My 2020 total electric bill was $220.00 including the $150.00 yearly meter fee the electric company charges

I started looking into Solar for my girlfriend's birthday and Shinnova looked really good on paper. I had a sales representative over for a consultation (Chris Lamanske) and he gave us an extremely thorough breakdown of how the system would function, how the pricing would pan out, and who to contact should we run into trouble. One thing I've really appreciated is that Shinnova either performs all of the work themselves or finds and adequate sub-contractor. This means I only need one point of contact and one location to make payments. I did not have to worry about scheduling inspections or getting permitting figured out. All of that is taken care of. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's interested in alternative energy!

The PM guided me very well through the process of approvals and the installation team was on time and respectful of my property.

Shinova solar has been very helpful during this process. We were getting our solar installed when COVID first started. With all of the new rules, quarantine, etc, they still would answer my questions and concerns quickly. Since having it installed I have referred some friends to Shinova and will continue to do so.

Had Shinnova install my panels about two years ago. Very professional from sale to install (have not needed them since do to a quality product being installed). Glad I used them.

I was skeptical about solar but after talking with Adam, he assured me I would save monthly and i have so far. This will surely pay for itself.

Just kidding. Chris did a wonderful presentation and answered all of our questions perfectly. I just have anxiety so it took me a few minutes to come around. :) The system sounds great and I'm excited to become more independent and move towards off-grid living. I would recommend Chris if you are interested in learning more about solar and what it can do for you. No pressure service. Easy process.
