I want to say thank you to the Rooftop Solar team for the installation of my Tesla Powerwall 3. What a positive difference it has made to my APS monthly bill. The installation went flawlessly and the system has been working great since it was turned on thru APS in February 2026. I highly recommend Rooftop Solar and couldn't be happier!👏👏👏

Awesome Process! I gave them my electric bill. In a short period Rooftop Solar mapped out the possibilities to bring my bill to zero. Now installed, I have no bill and an expected pay off in less than 10 years where I then will get free electricity for the next 20 years. And maybe faster ! The electric company just raised the rates again. So far in this first month and a half we have saved 1.4 tons of CO2, granted it is a big system. Saving $$, saving the world. Win Win. This is my second system with Rooftop, and the new online monitoring system is schlick.

I hired Rooftop Solar to install my system after a conversation with my neighbor. He was quite pleased with the service provided and I liked the look of his solar system. I was concerned about making the deadline for solar reimbursement, but Rooftop assured me that they could do a timely installation. It is now October 29, and I am mere weeks away from total completion. Rooftop kept me apprised of each step, making sure that it fit my schedule. The different employees that I met along the way were very courteous, well-informed and efficient. I love the look of my new system. It is sleek and unobtrusive.

Powerful Experience

Working with Rooftop Solar was great. They sought to understand my energy needs and designed a system to meet the requirements. With a solid plan, installation was swift and smooth. They coordinated with APS and took care of the connection details. When one panel failed to produce, they promptly replaced it for free. Great staff and friendly experience all around.

Awesome service

We got involved through a solar CO-OP. The CO-OP picked Rooftop Solar for the project. Rooftop Solar sent out an engineer who looked at our roof structure and then designed our rooftop solar arrays. He was very thorough and answered all our questions. The quote arrived and we decided to proceed. Due to all the supply chain issues, our project was completed 4 months after the original date but we had no problem with it. Things everywhere are still a mess. The install crew was very efficient and left our place as clean as they found it. Our arrays look good, and the first monthly electric bill showing a credit is the beauty of going solar as well as doing our part for the environment.

Excellent, responsive, customer service-driven company

Rooftop Solar installed a solar system in February,2021 and did a great job. They are a very responsive and customer-driven company. During the sales process, their price was very competitive and I felt they were honest about the system and the process. They quoted good equipment, and even ended up upgrading it some (at no extra charge) to help me meet energy targets without upgrading my circuit breaker box. We ran into a few gliches with my HOA and they were very supportive and responsive to my needs and the concerns of the HOA. They really work hard to ensure that their customer is satisfied. A few panels were not working initially and they followed up immediately with the equipment manufacturer to get it corrected. They have also followed up with me at my 1 year anniversary to check in. I highly recommend Rooftop Solar for your PV System.

Great Solar Company to do business with

From the start Michelle asked the right questions and from those questions came up with an estimate to not only meet our needs but made suggestions to improve our systems. No high pressuring, no badgering and only honest quotes with no hidden costs. The project manager Dannielle was on top of the project from day 1 and if needed was quickly on the phone with me if something was not going as schedule. She coordinated with all of the contractors and keep me in the loop as the solar system was being installed. I would highly recommend Rooftop Solar to anyone and have recommended them to all of my neighbors. 7 months later I contacted Michelle for some questions and she responded immediately with answer to my concerns.

Great installation

This team mimicked the best formula 1or Indy crew for teamwork and performance. They got to work and got the roof supports installed and pressed on to the panels. They were quickly put in place, hooked up, tested and passed. I was sure it was a two day job but only 4 hours it was done. Impressive is an understatement.

Professional and stands by what they say

From the beginning to the end of our quest for cleaner energy this company has been communicative, thorough and most of all did all they said they would. I would recommend solar from this company to any of my friends or anyone asking about solar companies. As we learned the hard way NOT all solar companies are alike.

Rooftop solar did two installs for us

Rooftop solar did two installs for us. We were impressed by their professionalism and care about getting things right. A delay occurred and we were given our APS bill payment from rooftop solar to cover the time that we did not have Solar available. How many companies would do that? Also since the two installs, rooftop solar has stayed on top of our account and provided explanations and understanding of oh well the system is operating. We highly recommend this company, and as mentioned, We had them do the second installation also on our vacation rental home. Good folks!

Got several bids and they were very competitive and efficient. Felt like they really cared about our project. Michelle Davis was excellent - answered all my questions and explained everything thoroughly. She made it easy for me to choose Rooftop. Danielle Treible and Stephanie Kramer were also great. The entire process was very smooth.

Wonderful and honest!

Out of the 5 companies we met with, Rooftop Solar-specifically Michelle Davis and Vanessa Nefflen- were exceptional. Michelle never tried to pressure me, never talked ill of other companies, she was extremely knowledgeable of all the components and was able to confidently answer every single question I had. Small business that goes above and beyond to provide quality and fair solar systems. I would and have recommended them to friends and family. The process took about 4 months due to permits but Vanessa kept me in the loop as much as possible. I love our solar system and would absolutely use them again.

Excellent experience from beginning to end!

A great and positive experience from beginning to end. John, the salesperson, was available at MY convenience and never pushy: he explained as much as I could absorb and then answered questions several times after. The positive communication continued throughout the project, even when we were waiting for permits (Angela would call to say "no news, but we're monitoring and will let you know!). The onsite work was done by polite, well-mannered (no debris left, very friendly, willing to answer questions and made sure we weren't inconvenienced). System has been up for about a month and, because of the monitoring system, I can see what is being generated by our system. VERY GLAD we went with Rooftop and I would HAPPILY recommend them to anyone!

Excellent value

We interviewed 5-6 companies about solar for the purposes of education. We wanted to know all the in's and out's of solar (how it works, makers of panels, expected output, service/warranty, monitoring, power company guidelines, etc). We found Rooftop Solar to meet all our expectations and provide the best in all listed categories. Once we selected our solar provider, the rest was easy from their help in working with our HOA, to the power company to installation. They communicated with me for the entire process and long after installation. We had been in our new home for less than a year before our panels were installed and operating. We have not had an electric bill for 10 months! Highly recommend this company!

Great experience

I was very hesitant to install solar. I wanted to do it for the environmental impact, but I typically don't trust salesmen. I looked at Rooftop initially because they were able to offer Tesla products. They went through several options with me and and thoroughly explained the pros and cons of each. In the end I ended up purchasing a high efficiency panel that looks great (black and low profile, not like some of the mirrors you see). I was impressed by how committed the employees were to the company; that says a lot. They were honest, friendly, and low pressure. I never had to guess what the next step was because my project manager was always sending me an update. I also didn't have to do any work, not even file the plans with the HOA. It was all handled, and all on schedule.

Fast and efficient installation

I got quotes from 3-4 solar install companies - not hard to do since I recently moved and had numerous offers for quotes triggered by my move. Most $$ quotes were very close so I had to choose based on impression, delivery and social media rating. I tend to have technical questions which many salespeople can't answer well. Their salesman, Julian, took his time to answer all my questions and followed up with me both before and after install without being a bother.

Amazing customer service, best financing options, monitoring

My experience with Rooftop Solar was fantastic. After interviewing 3 companies, I chose Rooftop because they offered the best financing options (so were cheaper overall when financing was taken into consideration), plus they offer monitoring after installation, notifying me and setting up time to make the fix. The monitoring after installation was important so that I do not have to monitor myself, and no other local company offered this feature. Everyone I worked with was extremely professional and kind, happily answering every question I had, and there were a lot along the way! The total cost (materials, labor, county and electric company documents and inspection, and anything else necessary) was $61,052 for a 17.36 kW system, and that included $10-15K for a ground mount rather than installing on our roof.

Rooftop gave me the best information, financing, warranty and price! The team worked with me to address any issues that came up and were very professional with the install. I have only been operational for two months, but have been pleased with the system this far.

Rooftop Solar a great company

From the sales rep to the installers, very knowledgeable and great people to work with. Sales rep asked me what I wanted and then gave me several options that would meet my requirements. She explained the different panels and inverters and how they performed. My project manager kept me informed during all the phases of the project and answered all my questions. Roof Top Solar delivered what I wanted when I wanted it and the system has been working great. I've sold more electricity than I have used since the system was turned on.

Integrity and communication

They were very accurate when identifying where possible shading would come, and very helpful about locating the best spot for stubbing out the conduit. A different solar outfit was trying to get me to chosse an inferior location.
