Rooftop Power

Do NOT use RTP!

I would NOT recommend RTP to anyone. After reaching out to the company several times to get the electrical work redone because they never spoke to us about our options of installing the electrical conduit, we were given a complete fabrication of what occurred that day between us, the panel installers & electrician. The electrician took major shortcuts and did the work he felt like doing that day, leaving it to be a major eyesore on our house. The panel installers (who were wonderful) actually told us that the electrician was supposed to talk to us on how we wanted the conduit run, but instead the electrician said "I'm not going through the attic, it's too hot out", so he did it the way he wanted to, then rang our doorbell to tell us it was done and showed my husband the work. At that point, my husband thought that was our only option and wasn't pleased about it, but didn't bring anything up because he thought that was our only option. After the electrician left, that is when one of the installers approached both of us and told us exactly what happened, and said that we could easily get it changed if we contacted RTP before our inspections with National Grid and the town took place. When we called, we were met with nothing but obstacles and lies by the office team and project manager; we're in complete disbelief. After reiterating to them that we are spending 30K on a solar investment we want the work done right, we were told our only options are to 1) have the conduit painted for free, or 2) to pay out of pocket for the electrician to come back and redo the work, and it would be expensive and take time because they're booked out. Again, I would NOT RECOMMEND RTP to anyone. Please do your research and find another solar company when making such a large investment.

Superior Company

Prompt, Personal, Professional

Excellent and best Investment ever.

I really happy with how the Solar Installation turned out. Perfectly installed. Communication was great and this will be great for the future if my bills.

Very professional and answered all of my questions.

I received a couple quotes from different solar companies but Rooftop power was the only one that provided the national grid solar program that pays me to go solar.

Excellent company!!

Super easy, wakes me through everything, didn’t push anything on me and did everything I asked for! Def recommended

A very friendly and professional company from start to finish.

The whole experience from start to finish was done incredible well. Dexter was extremely helpful in explaining all the information I need in order to help me make the a decision on whether or not solar was right for me. He was friendly, never pushy and always ready to answer any and all questions I had. The whole install process was done in a very professional matter and done quickly . I am very happy with my overall experience with the people at Rooftop Power and would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent company to work with for adding solar to your home.

From start to finish the service was great. Very thorough during the initial consultation, timely inspection of our roof, and quick installation. Highly recommend them.

easy process

Rooftop solar (specifically Dexter) was recommended to us by a friend. He came over and met with us for an assessment and we went over finances, details, etc, etc. He was professional, courteous, and friendly. He helped make the process simple and efficient. I would certainly recommend both him and rooftop power for anyone considering panels. The process was much smoother than I imagined it would be thanks to them.

BEST DEAL

It was the best deal i made this year changing to solar panels, not only saving money, but contribute to save the planet.I recommend it. ROOFTOP POWER THE BEST IN RHODE ISLAND.

No stress sales, RTP orchestrates every detail "soup to nuts " !

Key to our RTP solar Generac Pwrcell install was Dexter Hofines and the RTP team providing regular communications, reviewing all technical and configuration details with me, and RTP handling the full orchestration of all the finances, grants, incentives, and technical details to insure my installation was optimal. Kudos RTP !

A top-notch company

Rooftop Power as a no pressure company and a pleasure to deal with and I am very happy with the savings with my solar production

Highly recommend

It was a great experience working with Hyrum and everyone at Rooftop Power. The whole process including installation was seamless! We would highly recommend them.

Great company.

Everyone we dealt with was knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Excellent Team - Outstanding Service - Top Notch!!!

The entire Rooftop Team was amazing! They are extremely kind and knowledgeable especially Dexter. My questions and concerns were answered without any pushback. The installation went smoothly and my system looks great! I love not having an electric bill.

Attention to details and maximizing incentives

Rooftop Power really took care of us throughout this solar/battery backup journey! Dexter Hofhines was our point of contact and put all the puzzle pieces together. They installed a Generac PwrCell alongside the PV panels and everything is working seamlessly. The sun feeds current need, and then charges the battery and sends extra to the grid. The battery can be used at night or saved in case of an outage. The flexibility with this particular system was really a huge selling point and we can change the settings as we please to maximize incentives and have more control over our own energy use. We even added some tree clearing to increase production and now have a huge pile of firewood ready so we can use as much renewable energy as possible.

Rooftop Solar was easy to work with. The installation went well.

The sales rep was personable, informative and made himself available for questions. I was impressed with the professionalism and enjoyed working with Rooftop. I have wanted to convert to solar for a while and after the first consultation with the Rooftop rep I knew that going with this local company would afford me great customer service going forward.

Great Install

Rooftop Power did a great job on my install. Their customer service was 2nd to none. I highly recommend them if you want to save money!!!!

Excellent Solar Company!

We highly recommend going with Rooftop Power for your solar needs. Scott and his team helped us meet our goal of producing clean energy and eliminating our electric bill. Scott created a customized plan for us based on our property and explained in great detail each of the steps along the way. They worked directly with National Grid and the town (for permits), which was huge in making everything seamless. In addition, every member at Rooftop Power was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.

Amazing Company

When researching solar system for the house we interviewed several solar energy companies. We did an immense amount of research, and while all the companies gave us bids that were similar, Rooftop Power was the only company that took the time to go over everything from solar system operations and battery backup options. This gave us comfort to know that we were only putting panels on our roof that would generate the maximum amount of electricity and the battery backup system would meet our need. Scott did an excellent job explaining the system, the benefits and the cost of solar and advantage of the backup system. Every single person at Rooftop Power with whom I have had contact (roofers, and electrician) were knowledgeable, professional and personable, they treated my house like it was their house. Could not be more happy with this company, more companies should follow Rooftop Power example.”

Tremendous company. Knowledgeable team. Very professional. It all started with my consultant Sheena Telan. She went over everything with me from A-Z and was always available to answer any questions I had. Same experience followed with the installation. Very professional, very knowledgeable, very thorough. From the electrician to rhe panel installers. Could not have been more pleased. I highly recommend Rooftop Power.

Solar power is an attainable and great option!

Switching to solar has been amazing!! This started as a far fetched dream that I thought was going to be way out of our price range but Rooftop power showed us there was a way to indeed switch to solar with no cost down! What a dream! Dexter was super helpful and followed up every step of the way! If you are considering Solar, look no further!

Excellent service and knowledgeable and professional team!!

Our rep, Dexter Hofhines, walked us through every step of the way and answered all of our questions promptly. The installers treated our house as if it were their own. They also took all safety precautions that are so important at this time. I would highly recommend RTP and, particularly Dexter, to anyone considering solar energy.
