We have lived off grid for thirty years. Our original installer retired and Renewable Energy Outfitters stepped in when we needed service. This past spring we decided to upgrade the entire system. Aaron and his two employees did a superb job. We do not have a single complaint. Aaron Mandelkorn is a superb example of how a business marketing and installing and servicing solar and also wind power should operate. We would recommend Renewable Energy Outfitters above any other company in this part of Colorado.

REO installed a 12 panel installation on our roof in Salida. They were here when they said they would. REO's owner was on site when needed and the installation on our steep roof was professionally done. REO's employees were diligent in their work and were each of them was experienced in the work. We could not be more pleased.

Aaron of REO was a knowledgeable and professional throughout my solar project. He showed up in person for the initial on sight estimate. I wanted to go with a local installer and Aaron was great to work with. His estimate and final costs were the same.

REO (Aaron) did a new off-grid solar project for our new year-round family residence. He was very thorough in his bid, answered all of our questions, and stayed in constant contact throughout the project. The project was completed as bid and as expected. I only wish all of my building project contractors were as pleasant to work with as REO and Aaron. I have recommended him to others and will use him again for some of our future renewable energy plans.

Aaron delivered on every promise made. He was prompt, efficient, courteous - and a damn nice guy. It's a year later and our system is working perfectly.

I had Aaron upgrade my off grid system at a ranch outside Salida. He did a very professional job in removing the old panels and installing a new mount, rack, panels, charge controller, and wiring. It now has more power than the 2 racks of older panels that were taken out of service. He also adjusted all the parameters on my existing inverter, including the auto generator start. I would have no issue with using him again for any future upgrades or new equipment.

Aaron came a long way to my cabin to replace me solar system at a reasonable rate after making an initial consult. I recommend his company without any hesitation.

Very professional job done on upgrading my off grid system with new panels and charge controller. New system had less panels and more output. the batteries are now being charged fully. I had a very positive experience with Aaron at Renewable Energy Outfitters. I'd long thought about solar energy, but not being a pro, rejected the idea of doing my own work. I phoned Aaron, who came out to plan the job and to make an estimate. Soon, I had a shipment of panels beside my house and in a few days they were being mounted! Very importantly, Aaron dealt with my electric coop about this grid-tie system--I would not have known how. It's worked perfectly since. I traded money upfront for a much lower electric bill, and I'd do it again.

Aaron did a very clean pole mount installation here behind my shop and we kept the Inverter on the shop wall with a direct run to the Grid tie meter. It is working perfectly and we are getting the expected output. We have two electric cars here now and are delighted to be "refueling" our cars with the Sun. Thanks Aaron

Aaron is easy to work with, committed to service and straightforward. Everything went up quickly and without any problems including coordinating the grid tie.

We did a fairly large off grid system with Aaron that was tied into the grid since it was available. The system type is not popular with Xcel energy since they prefer grid addiction and the owner of our project wanted independence during grid breakdown. Aaron was able to walk through the paperwork and less than cooperative system and get us finished up on schedule and at quoted cost. Out of several renewable energy companies to choose from in the area, REO was my first and only choice to go with. Aaron provide friendly, quality advise and the photovoltaic system that he design and sold me was very reasonably priced. I enjoyed working with him and will use him again on my next solar installation.

Once up and running, our system has supplied all of the electric energy we use. The rate of return on our investment is about 15 times that of any CD. The utility has sent us about $300 more than we've sent them (OH,YES!). And we can feel good about helping protect the environment.
