Not happy with this company, but not because their solar panels don't do the job. I am very dismayed because they failed to inform me about financial incentives of more than $4,000 that I could have qualified for through the Energy Trust of Oregon. I knew about federal tax credits, but I only learned about these local incentives a couple of months ago -- 8 months after Pro-Stat finished the job -- and Energy Trust tells me now that they can't apply the incentives retroactively. Pro-Stat is a "trade ally" of Energy Trust of Oregon and should have informed and assisted me in getting their incentives. I took out a sizeable loan to finance the solar panels, and I could have taken a considerably smaller loan. In addition, the Pro-Stat salesperson employed hard-sale tactics -- "make a decision today if you want to get a X percent special discount" -- and later got bent out of shape when the company had to go through extra steps with the city because I live in an historic district. The technical people were good to deal with, but overall I think the company has quite lousy customer relations.

Hired to do solar/electrical/roof package install. Oversold their services on what they can do for electrical work. Have a lawsuit against them for breach of contract as they did NOT complete our project. So far they have not answered nor attempted any response for resolution. They were served with the suit from our attorney and still no response. I would not recommend them for solar or electrical needs.

Everything was great with installing. Was promised a mility/teacher discount by getting 8 months paid, never received. When trying to call our sales rep Markel refused to call back, after 1 month reached out to the owner and he still has yet to call back. Now the office will not answer my phone call. Very unprofessional.

I’m very glad that we went with Prostat Solar. Their bid was right in the middle and they went the extra mile. We had our roof redone after they did their measurements and one change was a plastic membrane on a flat part of our roof that required a special anchor for the panels. The contacted our roofers and got specific on the exact membrane and what anchors were needed. They special ordered it for us and kept us up to date on when it would come in. It does not end there; I was doing some research on the panels and realized that in about a month some panels with a higher watt would come out. I contacted them and asked if we could have those. They redid the outline for the solar panels and also contacted our loan people, since these panels we a little more. Prostat Solar went out of their way to make sure that we had the most power that we were able too. Communication through out all of this was great. The crew were very fast putting the panels in place and were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. If it was not for the panels on the roof, you would not know that they came. Very glad that we went with them.

Now have my Solar! Thanks to Pro-Stat Solar Group, the process was simple and straight forward. The participation of Oregon Energy Trust made it a truly doable project. We installed a 7.26 KW system with 22, 330 Silfab panels. We added a generator hookup for power interruptions. We were super impressed with this contractor! Their professionalism through the entire process and the installation crew were the most professional crew we had the pleasure of having install our system. We highly recommend this company!!!

Price, design, warrantees and experience. No pressure sales, good explanations. 24 x 330 watt solar panels installed on my house with supporting wiring and electronics in one day. The team was: 1) Professional - clearly new what they were doing and cleaned up well after. 2) Competent - Steep metal roof site was not a challenge to them and they proceeded smoothly. 3) Friendly - Team clearly got along well with each other and with visitors and lookie-loos stopping by to watch and a small excited dog wanting to be in the middle of everything. 4) Patient - Answered lots of questions and gave good explanations.

We had wonderful and fantastic experience services with Prostat Electric and Solar Company from our initial meeting with Tom Whaley, to the Engineer, office staffs and until to the finishing touches with the installing team of the system. We highly recommend this Solar Company who did this in just a short period of time.

The sales pitch was not pushy, but there was a deduction if you signed up on the spot. The salesman, Thomas, is very knowledgeable in this field. All of our questions were answered satisfactorily. When it comes to the install, the job was completed in the time frame that was agreed to, even in windy/rainy conditions. One thing that could be problematic, is the fact that the owner needs to be home and available for the install which takes two consecutive week days. It wasn't a problem for us, but could be for people working 5 days a week. All in all we are very pleased with the results!

We chose Pacific Northwest Solar because of other reviews we had read and the product they offer for solar equipment. Their pricing was within our expectations and were not the cheapest or the most expensive. They were also the most responsive of the companies we had contacted for responding with a quote. We had our solar panel install at the end of May 2020. I got to say, I was most impressed with everything, the crew, the professionalism of everyone, the smoothness of the install and the look of the end product. The crew, all of them, were pleasant, always willing to answer any questions, accommodating, worked very well and efficient together, were on it 100% all the time and no messing around and got the install done in one day which was above our expectations. I applaud and appreciate them for their work and dedication to their jobs. Thank you!

The overall experience was very good, the price very competitive and the delivery fast. The communication between everyone involved could be a bit better, but there were no issues. I would totally recommend you get a quote from PNW Solar.

Very disappointed in what the system has done , i paid 20,000 after the government rebate 29,000 total with the rebate and so far in the 1st 6 months it has only saved me 300.00 against my electric Bill , I was told it would generate the volume I was using , and my bill would only run approximately what the Electric service fee would be which is around 12.00 a month , I know when there is no sun its not a big power generator but from 4/4/20 to 5/4/20 it only produced 320 kilowatts of power so in the spring time when the sun is shinning I only saved 32.00 against my Bill , at the current rate it would take me 52 years to break even and at 60 years old I will never even make it back to zero ?

Efficient, professional, cost efficient, excellent and quality products and workmanship. Hillsboro building and code inspector impressed by electrical workmanship during inspection this morning! Can’t wait to get PGE hooked up! Wonderful team and company to work with from start to finish and with adjustments and reports!! All questions answered promptly. Worked well with my Blue Mountain HOA and Oregon Trust to expedite approvals and incentives!!!

What I can say about them is #1 They obviously work closely with the manufacturer and understand the product, as they were able to answer my obscure technical questions. #2 No hassles. They literally take care of everything. Solar installed in less than 2 days. #3: Even the municipal inspector commented on the extremely high caliber of the electrical installation. They went beyond expectations in ensuring and verifying we were satisfied (we are). Courteous, prompt customer service, professionalism, expertise. Highly recommend.

Great team of professionals. They communicate well in all stages of the process and even check up on you after the project is complete to ensure that everything is done right. The presentation on the front end is on point and informative.

The folks at PNW Solar showed us how we could generate nearly all of our own energy while utilizing the PUD as a huge energy storehouse. They took care of all the installation including working with the PUD to figure out an easement issue around the area where the panels needed to be installed (ground mount). They even told us when the state changed the rules over the summer to not charge sales tax. They redid the contract so we didn’t have to pay it. We went live July 26th and, until recently, have sent more energy to the PUD than we’ve used. We still generate most of what we use on these short sunny days.
