Solar Installation

Daryl Hansen and his team were professional, competitive and extremely knowledgeable about their product as well as local regulations. He presented a detailed estimate and was very easy to work with. The installation was done as promised, when promised in a professional manner. I would highly recommend Pacific Energy, LLC to anyone seeking a solar installation.

Loving it off grid

Pacific Energy did our small 12 panel, OutBack, off-grid system. It's been working flawlessly for many years. Their price was super good and Daryl made sure we understood what we can and can't do with our off-grid system.

Great Job

Daryl and his crew did a great job. He took the time to make sure I knew how the system worked and how to monitor it. I have recommended him a few times.

Great Company

Pacific Energy is an excellent company. They were very professional and economical in their approach. Their representative came to my house and gave me a very detailed analysis of my needs. He looked over my electric bills and made suggestions on how many panels I would need to provide my home with electricity. The documentation was well done and very precise. The actual installation was done with care and safety. The completed process was extremely well done and the paperwork all done and approved. The Pacific Energy representative was very diligent and come back a few times to make sure everything was working well. This is a company that just doesn't do the work and then leave you, they follow up and make sure everything is doing fine. I would recommend Pacific Energy in the highest possible way. They are a first rate company with exceptional customer service. Finally their prices are very competitive and well below other companies. Thank you Pacific Energy for taking care of my electric needs.

Highly Recommend

Daryl at Pacific Energy recently installed our solar PV system on our new home here on Maui. He and his team are very friendly and professional so the install was completed quickly and on time. Both my husband and I especially appreciated that Daryl took the time to explain how to use the system since we were new to solar PV. I highly recommend Pacific Energy to anyone wishing harness the power of the sun to reduce your energy costs here on the island!

excellent service

I have referred four more of my friends to Daryl and all have had the same good remarks about their service and neat installation. No messy wires hanging down the side of my house and a neat and professional attitude.

Highly recommend!

Pacific Energy recently installed our solar panel system on our new home - and we couldn't be happier that we went with him. For the months leading up we were in contact with most - if not all - of maui's solar companies. A close friend recommended Daryl and his team at Pacific energy to us after an outstanding job on his new house in wailea. We are so glad we found him. From the beginning his customer service was on point. He worked with our individual situation to make sure we were able to take advantage of our net metering approval and installation was seamless and the project was completed right on time. He is very nice to work with and we are so glad we went with him. We have since recommended him to our dearest friends and family who are equally as thrilled with him. Thanks to Daryl we are powered by the sun - without any stress and headache! I highly recommend Daryl for anyone shopping around for solar on Maui.

Daryl Hansen is awesome

My wife and I got several quotes from the big outfits for our 10kw project (Risingsun, haleakala solar, etc) then my friend told me about Daryl Hansen, his quote was thousands less than the competition with American made panels. The job was done quickly and professionally and we haven't had any problems after 2 years. I have referred him to several friends and family and all have been extremely happy with his work. Thank you Daryl.

Excellant service!

Daryl was amazing to work with from the beginning permit process to the end of our installation. We will be using Pacific Energy to install panels on our new home we purchased last year.

Satisfied customer

Very happy with install, performance and communication.

Highly recommended!

It was a pleasure dealing with Pacific Energy. From the get go, they were very responsive and professional. Their work is outstanding and during the whole process make you feel your in good hands.

Solar PV

Very happy with the installation of our solar PV. Pacific Energy and Daryl Hanson did a great job! From first coming over, explaining every concern we had, estimating panels we needed, installation was fast and efficient.

Great Installation

Daryl and Pono arrived on time and did a great job installing our PV panels. After they were installed Daryl took the time to ensure I understood the monitoring system.

Completely satisfied with our solar system

Daryl Hanson & his company installed our solar system. We were out of town, and he handled everything expertly! He had to deal with our home owners association, and he did it with patience, and professionally. Daryl helped us with the internet application and he always returns our calls & answers any questions we have, even after a year. Thank you Daryl

very HAPPY !!

i WANTED A HYBRID SYSTEM THAT HAS BATTERY POWER BACK UP. iT TOOK MAUI ELECTRIC ONE YEAR TO APPROVE THIS LOCATION AND 3 INSPECTION FORM MAUI COUNTY ( CAUSE THIS SYSTEM IS MORE COMPLEX ESPECiaILLY SINCE i WANTED ONLY THE 120 TO BE BACK UP......AND THEN i WAS THE LAST ONE THAT MAUI ELECTRIC APPROVED ON A SCNEIDER SYYTEM HYBRID WITH SAME SOFTWARE. So happy...a dream come true.

You will know when you talk to Dary Hanson if Solar is for you,

My family was very unsure about investing in Solar as my retirement was imminent and knee replacement surgery was a couple of weeks away in Honolulu. Daryl and I talked mostly about bikes, surf and trucks when he came. By the time Daryl left that day, I read through his analysis and statistical estimates of the Sun’s seasonal movement, the position of our house, and our particular energy needs, we had no doubt about moving forward. Not only did we save thousands of dollars from other estimators, but Daryl and his crew were on the roof as I returned from hip surgery and the job was finished in a couple of days. Daryl followed up, notified when trees were blocking the panels, and advise on how to maximize the sun movements, and I saved hundreds in retirement. Local style good value service....get him if you can because you won’t see a Pacific Energy advertisement.

We highly recommend Daryl and his company Pacific Energy!!

We are extremely happy that we have chosen Daryl Hansen for the purchase and installation of our 2 PV systems. He was very professional, outstanding knowledgeable and extremely reliable. He is not in it to rip you off like some other companies; he is in the business because of his passion for alternative energy. His price was by far the lowest of all here on the Island for the same product and his work was excellent. It took him and his crew only a day and a half to install the 2 systems. We can highly recommend Daryl and if we should ever need another PV system we definitely would go with Daryl and his company again!! Thank's Daryl!! Nick & Betty

Kihei Install

I was one of the first 10 customers, Daryl was able to answer all of my questions and put me at ease with the process. He took care all the permits and paperworks, and I din't have to lift a finger. The Installation was flawless and done in 2 days, day one was mostly hardware installation, day two was the whirring connection. My system is working

2641 Lioholo PL

Daryl Hansen is the owner/operator of Pacific Energy located in Kihei, HI. My whole experience was very satisfactory starting with the sales proposal through the installation and post-installation follow up. His proposal offered five more panels than a competitor's proposal for the same price. Installation occurred in a day and a half. My electric bill went to the minimum immediately and stayed there even when I added two split air cooling systems.

Exceeded expectations

I was very nervous about installing PV solar on my home. I wasn't very knowledgable about which system to go with or what company to trust with such a large expense and endeavor. Even though Pacific Energy was a fairly new company at the time he came highly recommended and we met with him. His extensive knowledge about the product and installation immediately put us at ease and we knew he could be trusted and we were in the right hands. Installation went perfect. Everything was on time, his crew were wonderful to work with and the finished product was just beautiful on my home. He followed through after the install to make sure we were set up on the website to track our savings and give us further tips and assistance. Sometimes doing business on an island can be nerve racking and disappointing but not in this case. This was a quality company in every way and I was thrilled with every aspect of working with Daryl Hansen. If I can, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have about Pacific Energy and our experience with them.

Exceptional

I could not be more satisfied. Pacific Energy installed two systems on our property. During the time we considered "solar energy" I knew practically nothing about the business, or converting "panels on the roof" to energy savings. After calling a few companies that were unable to meet my schedule. A good friend recommended I call Pacific Energy. When meeting Daryl Hansen (owner) I was immediately encouraged with his enthusiastic attitude and patience explaining in "layman's terms" the four "W's" (Who, What, Where, Why) I'm sure there was more questions than the four at the time! However, knowing what I do know now about solar energy as a result of Daryl's trustworthiness. I would not accept anyone else for installations in the future.

Great Job!

My experience with Pacific Energy and Daryl Hansen was excellent. I feel Daryl was honest with me, did not try to over sell and was professional from the start of the project to completion. I had given up on the idea of PV panels based on several previous bids, then a neighbor mentioned his positive experience with Pacific Energy. I made the call and am now 100% pleased with the entire process.
