I had an excellent experience working with Power Solutions from start to finish. I was referred to them by my neighbor, and I’m especially glad we worked with David, our salesperson. He was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to answer all of our questions, and never made us feel pressured at any point. It was a refreshing change from the typical sales experience. He also did a great job explaining the federal tax credit and helped us move quickly to make sure we didn’t miss the deadline. The entire process was smooth and well-organized. The paperwork was straightforward, and the team at Power Solutions kept me informed every step of the way. They handled all the permits, coordinated with Con Edison, and communicated clearly around scheduling so there were no surprises. Installation day was went great. I took the day off expecting a long process, but the crew completed everything in just a few hours. The installers were professional, friendly, and took the time to walk me through what they were doing. They also did a great job keeping everything clean and ensuring that wiring and connections were as hidden and neat as possible. Overall, it was a seamless experience from beginning to end. Power Solutions offers strong guarantees on both the workmanship and the panels, which gave me a lot of confidence in the decision. I’m very happy we chose them and would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

We love our solar panels and are so happy we got them. We are even happier that we worked with NY Power Solutions and our sales guy Mike White. First off, we haven’t paid an electric bill in a year. We started saving money as soon as we installed them but it took a couple of years for me to realize what a difference this is making in our lives, particularly as electricity rates seem to be going on daily. Second, the panels are gorgeous. We upgraded on the panels for a small amount of money and gained greater efficiency on their production and they look really cool on our roof. Turns out they have tiny cages underneath the panels to keep critters from moving in, that was a thoughtful feature we hadn’t realized they came with. Third, we feel really proud that we are making so much solar power. We would definitely get more of these in the future if we expand our needs such as with an electric vehicle. Fourth, NY Power Solutions worked with us to avoid cutting down trees which other companies were insisting we do. We ended up buying four more panels which was a lot cheaper than removing more trees and now we have all the power we need and all the trees we wanted to keep. Lastly, Mike has been a gem to work with. He’s a good communicator, very knowledgable, stays in touch, and he kept his word on everything since day one. No surprises except that the whole thing has worked out even better than we’d hoped. Highly recommend.

We used Long Island Power Solutions to design and install a 22 panel 9.3kW rooftop solar system on our home in late 2024. The initial site evaluation was borderline, due to one 100+ year old oak tree in our yard which we refused to cut down or trim to improve our solar output. Our consultant, David Kowalsky, worked repeatedly with us and his engineers to find a solution that could provide sufficient return to justify the project given this tree. We were presented with multiple design options and configurations with accompanying forecast performance results, and we made our choice. We were pleased that in its first full year of production our system slightly exceeded its forecast output, proving out the skills of the design and engineering teams. I can't understate the monthly pleasure at seeing a big fat zero on our electricity bill for monthly usage. Throughout the process Power Solutions worked closely with us, regarding such things as placement of exterior and interior equipment. The result was an installation with minimal exterior change and convenient internal placement and access. Power Solutions also handled the extensive planning and permitting paperwork with our municipality and with ConEd. Their communication throughout was excellent. I recommend David Kowalsky and Power Solutions without reservation for this kind of work.

I recently had solar panels installed on my house and I am very satisfied with how everything went. Everyone at the company that I interacted with was professional and helpful. In particular, Mike White, the consultant handling the project, guided me through the entire process, answering all my questions and providing information that helped me make informed decisions. From early on in the process and to the very end, I saw quality in their work and how they operate. Another thing that I found valuable was that the paperwork with my town was all handled for me. They even had a mobile notary meet me to sign some documents -- super convenient! My solar panels have been up and running for 2 months and I'm quite satisfied with the workmanship as well as the system's performance. The mobile app is a great way to see real-time status and other metrics, and it's an invaluable tool for me to monitor performance, see usage patterns, and most importantly, see with my own eyes that I made the right decision to go with New York Power Solutions.

Excellent Company, painless process every step of the way.

New York Power Solutions has been great from Day 1, prior to contacting NY Power Solutions, I had contacted the other popular big companies for estimates. after a few weeks of getting estimates it was clear that they only wanted me to sign and they did not fully understanding the equipment or the service they provided. Spending this amount of money I expected a knowledgeable professional sales Rep. I was Completely turned off to solar...I finally I contacted NY power Solutions. My Sales Rep David Defilippo was great !!!. He was very knowledgeable, He first analyzed an entire years worth of electric bills to determine if Solar was even worth it for me. Once we determined it is worth it we had schematic drawn via satelite images to see how many panels can actually fit and to see how much power I can produce. I felt very comfortable m him throughout this process and never felt pushed or rushed. He also got me the best financing rate. A technician then came to my house and flew a drone over the house verifying my that my roof was in good condition and able to support the panels. Cindy the project Manager was assigned, she dealt with the Town and the Utility company ( O&R) to assure things went smoothly. She dealt with all the bureaucracy. Finally, Installation day, The installers were also great as well. A team of 7 people came and fully installed my system in one day to my surprise. They all knew their job and worked like a well oil machine. They were all respectful and very professional. They also completely cleaned and removed all debris from the installation. I am hoping to have many years of trouble free solar. I highly recommend NY Power Solutions.

We have been looking into solar for years. Finally, the time and technology was right. What made it even greater was our sales person Justin. His communication with us was professional and timely. The crew was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. Our Quality Assuance Manager Tyler, reviewed our solar app with us answering each of our many questions. So glad we waited. Before installing my solar panels by Power Solution, I shopped around and got a quote from multiple solar power companies. However, I would get the run around from everyone and not get the final price. Not until I called Power Solution and got in contact with Joe Strzelecki who told me straight up what my final price would be with the total system unit. My system size was 12240 with Q-Cells 340 with about 36 panels! I was treated with the upmost respect, with fast replies, professionalism, knowledgeable answers and a true dedication to giving me the best value. Joe Strzelecki is not only knowledgeable in the solar panel systems but he is very motivated to give you the best value he can give you. He kept in contact with me every step of the way from installation, scheduling inspections, reminding me to sign off on the finance loan and anything else relative to this project. Honestly, I don’t think I would have signed with Power Solution if it wasn’t for Joe due to his dedication, honesty and aspirations to making the world a better place with solar energy. If you do want to install solar, ask for Joe Strzelecki as your sales rep as he will explain everything from start to finish with honesty.

Absolutely Fantastic

just bought my first home in October of 2020 and doing solar was one of my first projects on the list in making my home as efficient as possible to save me money over the long run. With Indian Point shutting down here in lower NY and the new regime making sure to screw every American by driving up gas prices, oil prices, and effectively the cost of all energy across the board, doing solar seemed like a clear choice to protect myself from the oncoming inflation of electric bills. I did my research into solar companies and New York Power Solutions was by far the best choice. I had always been skeptical about solar companies, especially when you would see houses with panels strung across the roof with no rhyme or reason and I just figured it was one of those walk into Home Depot and get swindled into solar kinda deals. New York Power Solutions was as good as all the reviews I read and far exceeded my expectations. I got on the phone and asked about a million questions, all of which they had the answer to and after the site survey they worked with me back and forth to create a design on my roof that looked really clean, working around all the vents and obstacles on my roof, and with absolutely no wiring showing instead of looking like a botched game of Tetris. The best part was the price though, it was 0 money down, ZERO. And with the tax rebates it was literally close to 50% of the costs covered up front and the rest was financed for like 2.15% which is essentially free money. For all of this, I bought the panels which will be paid off in 15 years at that low rate but even better is that they are warranteed for 25 years and not to mention the value they add to my home if I ever do decide to sell. I know it sounds too good to be true and I thought the same but I am so so happy that aside from the stupid service charge from the electric company that there is no way around, I'm gonna have free electricity. And even with that charge, it seems that my panels are on track to over produce and will probably earn me more money back per year than what I pay the electric company. I have nothing but great things to say about New York Power Solutions, my point man Mike D., and the installation team who banged it out in less than a day, especially Robert who was meticulous as I am and made sure to get my panels looking like a work of art even with some humps in my roof where there was an addition added on. If you're seriously considering doing solar, do it soon, the tax credits seem to drop every year as more people come on board, but more importantly, call New York Power Solutions. They will explain everything much better than I can this online review and you'll be happy you did, I couldn't be more thrilled with the service and nothing compares to looking at the integrated app on a sunny day and seeing the panels on the roof not only save but make me money. I wanted to write a quick review about experience with New York Power Solutions. Joe is the person that reached out and that worked with me to choose the right solution for my home. He is knowledgeable, friendly and super responsive. We signed at the end of November and installation occurred end of February. With the holidays and snow storms we got in February the process was delayed a bit. The installation crew was thorough and clean. It took them less than 1/2 day to install an 18 Panel system. Overall I would recommend NYPS to anyone looking to take advantage of the Federal and State incentives to go solar.

Hassle Free

14.62kW system in Westchester County, NY. I interviewed several solar companies and chose NY Power Solutions based on their pricing and the professional, responsive help of my salesperson Justin Roche. While the process took a while and involved a lot of steps, Justin handled EVERYTHING and was available throughout on his cell phone to answer any questions. My system was installed in about 5 hours by a friendly crew of 11 with zero surprises or hassles. I have thoroughly recommended NY Power Solutions to all of my friends interested in solar (of which there are many now!)
