Solars are not working . I called and spoke to Rolando? He talked me through a reset wait 48 to 72 hours to see if it resets if not he will send tech out. According to him it has not worked since 2022 when they came out last time. I have be3n calling and leave messages for 6 weeks now with out a reply..

My wife calls no answer. They told us twice they would come and install the part. Then no show. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They don’t answer their phones. They act like they will assist you with anything before you have your unit. Then afterward it is a ghost town.

I started the process around June of 2022. The salesman went over a bunch of information very quickly and new the presentation well, but after doing research later and actually selling solar myself in Ohio, I quickly found out how much the salesman really did not know. During the installation, it took almost 8 months to get fully installed. During this process we found out that they had went through different installers because previous ones were coming to the job "high", which both my wife and I thought and was furious over because we had our kids in the same house as these people. After finally getting it installed and the solar starting to work, December of 2022 we started to get a leak in my daughter's room directly above where she sleeps. It took them almost a month to get someone to come out because now at this time, they were no longer selling in Ohio. The team that came out and "supposedly" fix the issue, but all they really did was put a bandaid on the issue. Fast forward to present, we are now dealing with the same leak issue because all they did was put some extra tare or whatever the heck they put around where they drill through the roof to get the panels secured. Now looking at the attic, the issue has gotten much worse and again currently dealing with the company to get someone to come out to use to not only fix the issue, but I am demanding them to remove the panels, reverse the financing on this and to fix the whole roof. Now we not only have a leak in that area, but other areas as well. This has been by far the worst experience I have had and really have no control over it. Now we are dealing with a mold issue since they did not fix the problem correctly the first time. Beware when using this company or really any solar company. You really need to do your homework on their installers because this has been nothing but a headache, figuratively speaking and literally speaking.

They came into town and installed the solar panels, and the moment we needed them, they disappeared and won't respond. We have sent several requests to them to help solve our electrical issues that we have been having since the installation, to inspect the installation to ensure it is installed properly. They promise to replace your main power box when they install when it is not up to code, and the inspector said that it was needed, but they did not do it. We had to get it replaced because it was not up to code out of our own pocket and they falsely stated that it was up to code and threatened to void our warranty because we had someone else do the work. We told them we asked them repeatedly to come out and look at it and they denied the request and then said there was no record of our request. Noe we are still having issues and our monitoring company has asked them to come out and inspect and we can't get a response from Nerd. They aren't following through on their warranty and have no customer service. They won't even work with BBB. Please avoid this company

We recently have issues with solar. The water heater, dryer and other appliances are not getting enough power. We called them to come out and check what's going on with the solar. The solars are under warranty. We scheduled an appointment with them; they did not show up. Took another appointment. Canceled in the last minute; the reason was a technician's family emergency. Scheduled again; no show. It's been a month; and not getting anything fixed. This company should not be in business.

I wish I never hired Nerd Power. They quoted my system at $24,000 saying it would be enough to power my house. After several months of repeated failed inspections by SRP the system is up and running. Nerd power billed me an ADDITONAL $2500 for the labor. The saddest part is that now I can see that my system is producing less than 1/3 of the energy needed to power my house. Rather than saving $ and the solar panels paying for themselves, I have effectively doubled my electric bill for the next 25 years.

A neighbor recommended Karl Goodman, Solar advisor and so glad I got in touch with him. Karl went above and beyond to help me understand my APS bill and how my solars work. He also gave me recommendations on what plan is best for me and how my new pool settings can contribute to my plan. Absolutely so appreciative that he took the time to educate and help me. I recommend this company!

Adding solar power to my home and using NERD Power as the contractor are two of the biggest mistakes I've made in my life. High pressure sales. I am sure I paid too much for what I got in return. Customer service became non-existent after installation. They promise you will be able to monitor solar output from your smart phone or tablet. When that stops working, you are simply out of luck. I was told to completely reset my inverter system. When that failed to resolve the issue, I was told the only option at this point is to update/re-install the application, That didn't work either. They promise a system whereby you can monitor power usage by circuit called Curb app. When that failed I learned they have a new vendor and even though my system is under warranty, Curb is not included and it's a $125 service fee for them to come out. I've asked for help on numerous occasions and now am getting no response at all. You are much better off furnishing your home with energy efficient appliances and HVAC systems than going solar. If you do decide to install solar, do NOT use this company.

I probably should've done more research about solar in general, granted they helped lower my bills in half, but not, all at the same time because of the payments..

I am so disappointed in this. I was so excited to get the panels installed and everything. Was told my panels would produce 8.8kw. Not true, I used 10.3 kw for the month and got a $404 bill. I called Nerd Power and they said the panels are working like they should. Now I’m stuck with these panels for yrs to come and more than double electric bills. The sad thing is this was my first month with the panels. If a class action lawsuit comes up count me in.

Very disappointing experience and we'll not be recommending nerd power to anyone. Signed contract in September 2022. They installed panels late December and were supposed to be operational in January 2023. SRP inspection failed because inverter was not working. Nerd power came relatively quickly to change it and SRP approved everything. Except that 2 weeks later, inverter broke again. The app was not working either and no one informed us we were off grid until we received our first SRP bill a month later. After having to call and inform nerd power of the issue, it took them over a month to get the piece and to come repair. We were told that they would install a more powerful inverter cause it was already the 3rd one they came to install. However, they never upgraded the inverter as we found out 4 months later and inverter broke again. Once again, no one contacted us to let us know we were off grid, again. When calling nerd power, no one knows anything. We were told weeks of wait to even receive the same new piece which is obviously not working. In the meantime, we are being charged $$$ from SRP while solars are not working. We are actually losing money instead of saving money like they promised we would installing solar. Total of month solar being install and supposed to be running 6 months, total of months actually working 3 months. No help or compensation were offered during these months being off grid.

I paid 42k for a 9.45 KWh system and opted out of most of their home efficiency options. I soon realized I way over spent. Also, it took 13 months from the day I signed till the solar panels were producing. Overall the people were nice but, I paid twice the amount and was further on lied to about how large of a system I can have . Turns out I could have gotten at least a 15kwh system and could have gotten monocrystalline panels for the same price as I paid out. I guess Nerd power is happy though, they made over 20 thousand dollars off of me.

We only have had our panels for about a month, and have not received a bill yet. But the sales and installation teams were top notch. We had no difficulties with communication and never once had any difficulties with the process. So far.....I highly recommend them.

I have worked with many companies and haven't ever received this type of Expertise of service in my career. I have been a business owner for over a decade and be in sales over 20 years. Nerd Power was amazing starting with analyzing my home first to make sure I want spending more on solar panels than needed. They helped me become energy efficient first. By doing this I was able to receive free money from the utility company I was using. I got back almost $500 just for fixing my leaky energy spots. Not only does this help me save money daily my home is much cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Once this is completed they then assess your energy costs and review how much solar you will need to offset your energy cost to save you the most money. I was explained in detail of all the different options. How to communicate with the utility company to get on the right program as there are different options to look at to see if you qualify for better savings. The educated me on the tax CREDITS you COULD qualify for. Its not just free money you need to communicate with your accountant for that. Good news is the new act passed allows homeowners to take advantage of credit until 2030. I was approved for a ridiculous low rate of 1.49% you have to have amazing credit to get this. If you don't have amazing credit that's OK they still have options to help you get approved which is most important so that you too can also start saving money on your energy and start getting money back for all the incentive in play for you. You are not going to find a better solar company in the nation! They are one of the few also tat have one of the only warranties to protect your install and panels. Also, my panels are the best looking in my neighborhood and best I've seen around.

We can look at their website or a phone app and see immediately the power our system is generating at any time and they can as well. In addition, we realized substantial Federal and State tax credits and not only will our power cost not go up every year like it used to, we have have increased the value of our home while saving money every month! Install was OK. The installers did great. Horrible customer service and project over sight. Delayed communication, failed follow up and left to text messages that didn’t get answered.

If you’re reading this please explore you options on solar power. Brandon Leyva the sales rep sold me on solar by stating I would only have “1” bill going forward “Gigantic” lie. You will still have a bill plus if you have borderline credit they will get you approved through a company that pay need power upfront before the install is completed. Almost a year in and my plans were finally approved yesterday. For 2 months it’s been a back and forth because I refused to pay for a system that is not working. Trash company trash employees not worth my time and headache. Explore before you sign with this company.

Nerd Power has taken over six months and still has not completed the process. I have had to do their work in calling for status and even calling the electric company to see to obtain status. The representative blames the city and utility company for the delay. However, it is their responsibility to ensure the project moves forward. At one time I called CPS (utility company) and was told application was approved, but the project manager did not submit to the city until over a week later. Now, we are still waiting for connection and again it is "the city and utility" company they are waiting for , according the representative. It is unfortunate that I took their word that the process would be completed within four months. They get the initial contract signed and then take their time to get the actual installation completed. If you want solar panels - DO NOT go with Nerd Power, unless you want horrible customer service.

I am in year 3 of having these panels. I have received 6 bills less than $125. The sales people sell you on an electronic bill that will be “only a small connection fee.” Summer months I pay almost $400 in electric plus $300 for solar panels. What savings. Read all the complaints before choosing a company. They are all true about nerd power. Their responses to complaints or concerns is indifferent at its best. Always a point of contact that will ghost you. Always someone else to blame. Never any lever of accountability. Class Action is arriving soon, I hope

I bought my home in 2017, approached by many Solar company's giving me their reasons for getting solar. A system with power storage capability & Government Discounts. My concern was my power company would not support and not a good gut felling. Now it's March 2022, Community Festival, solar vendor. (NeRD POWER Rep.) I say, he had all the right info; Free Inst, 30 year Solar Insure warranty, Power Company Recommended, Power Buy Back & Discounts. Going Green & ~70% power control. This was the right fit. I immediately started the solar process. Started February & installed running April 19, 2022 (< 3 Months which is what I expected). NeRD POWER support through the whole process, providing step by step publications. On time Installation process with knowledgeable crew always on time. Making it a smooth approval process. I am completely satisfied since I became operational. Overall I would highly recommend Nerd Power for the following reasons Proper expectations were set and my APS bills are what they said they would be. Competitive packages and pricing. For me it was 100% smooth process.

I bought my home in December 2019 and immediately started the solar process. I installed in June 2020 and have been completely satisfied since I became operational. Nerd Power showed up when they said they would and the total install process took around 3 months or so, which is what I expected. Overall I would highly recommend Nerd Power for the following reasons 1. Proper expectations were set and my APS bills are what they said they would be 2. Professional install teams and processing teams 3. Customer service after the install 4. Competitive packages and pricing It wasn’t a 100% smooth process, but of the couple issues I had they were handled with no excuses, which is what I would expect.

I have had my Nerd Power system for almost a year and I couldn’t be happier. My roof is the sexiest one on my block and my electric bills are so low that I never even think twice about them. So happy!!

NERDPOWER power has given me the best knowledge in their programs and a great experience working with great people . 10/10 recommend their services.

I moved into what I was told was an efficient home, only to discover that the attic, ducts, seals and thermostat was terribly outdated. Nerd Power not only upgraded my attic insulation, fixed my leaky ducts, I also qualified for a sweet new ecobee smart thermostat I can control from anywhere, an EV Charger for my garage and they put enough solar on my roof to offset my high bills by almost 90%. I got several quotes but Nerd Power was quick to schedule, their energy report easy to understand and they helped me navigate the incentives I didn't know were available to me. It was basically a no brainer given how bad my electrical bill was. Not to mention the install crew didn't leave a mess. Great company and I wouldn't bother with anyone else if you're considering solar.

I was very hopeful with the idea of solar. I purchased solar with NERD power only to pay double what I was paying for with SRP. Major facts were omitted which are pretty significant. Things like: you can only use your solar during the day time unless you purchase a battery that even the solar company stated was over priced. You can not use multiple large items like oven, dishwasher, and washer or drier at the same time or you over use what you are producing. If this is not enough to sway you I can tell you that my average SRP bill was 200 a month. I now pay 160 for SRP and an additional 178 to the solar company for the next 20 years. In addition we have had multiple issues with getting it up and running consistently and at one point they did not even tell us that the solar was not working even though they were aware. They simply were going to fix it at their own convenience until we asked. I do want you to understand I try to recycle, have a compost, do not use plastic bottles, and try and grow my own vegetable to cut down on my carbon imprint. I thought this would be a good next step but it is a cost that is beyond its worth financially.

I had Nerd Power install a solar attic fan. I have seen a dramatic difference of the temperature in my house. The A/C does not run as much and my home stays cooler. I love it. Also everyone I personally dealt with was an amazing person. Very easy to talk you. Extremely knowledgeable about the products. I highly recommend.

They hire incompetent workers. They do not communicate. You have to call them multiple times a month or two to figure out what should be done next. Instillation has failed city inspections on 3 different occasions. Meanwhile we are still charged for the panels yet they’re not functional. They said 6 months. We are going on 9 months without any productivity. Very disappointed in this company. Do your research.

I chose NerdPower because the salesman knew some of my colleagues and insinuated NerdPower had installed the panels at my place of work. We immediately developed a rapport. However, the installation process took 1 year. I was making payments before the panels were actually functioning. I was told that at the end of the year I would receive a $12,000 refund (actual quote) that I could revert to the amount owed so the balance would decrease and my payment would remain the same throughout the contract (10 years). However, I paid three CPA's to tell me the exact same thing; that the $12,000 is NOT a refund it is a tax credit. "If" you have enough liabilities you "may" qualify for this amount "but" you have to have earned more than $100,000 that year. That is not how the salesman worded this when he swayed me to purchase the panels. Now I'm stuck with solar panels that are worth $28,000 but I'm paying $40,000 for the next 20 years! So if you want to avoid that "sick to your stomach" feeling for 20 years, do not be purchase through NerdPower.
