Everyone and I mean everyone was awsome!!!!

MS Solar sold my elderly father a generator with a bad motor. Luckily, the warranty covered the cost of the motor. MS Solar ordered the part at the end of Oct. Since then, I have had to make ALL the inquiries as to the status of the new motor. MS. Solar only provided me updates when I asked them to investigate the matter and then, they only restated that the part was on back order. At the end of December 2024, my family was frustrated. I called MS. Solar and left a message -- my call was not returned. I then called again and spoke to a very nice representative who stated that the owner would call me. That never happened. Instead, I received the same information showing that the motor had been ordered at the end of October. This time, I asked for the number for Generac. I bypassed MS Solar, called Generac, and received very specific information about when the motor will be shipped. Why could MS Solar not do that? Why does MS Solar not call me back?

MS Solar was very professional with their sales presentation, site evaluation, installation and completion of our green energy project. I have a lot of respect for Will and his team. I would recommend them to everyone.

From start to finish Mississippi Solar is stellar. After the rain delay installation was flaw-less. They did what they said when they said, took pictures of each step of the installation and included them in our owner's manual. Of all the many contractors I have used over the years Will and his crew were heads above the rest. They did not damage our home or property, nor did they leave any installation debris or trash around.

Mr. Hegman and his crew are extremely professional and go above and beyond. The commitment and attention to detail is amazing. The entire process was actually a lot of fun! I recommend Mississippi Solar to everyone!

It seems yesterday I had my system installed. It's been two years now and I am installing an additional 3.3 system. MS Solar is the only company I will do business with. It's a pleasure to work with Mr. and Mrs. Hegman.

I studied solar system design and options for a year before I contacted MS Solar. They were very professional and were able to explain my options in terms I could understand and more importantly, they did not try to sell me a "Canned" system. They took the time to do a comprehensive review of my site and my desire and blend those into the best possible option for me. The construction phase was handled cleanly and with attention to all codes and requirements. They even let me help and learn due to my familiarity with the hardware and requirements. I will recommend them to anyone who is serious about installing a well-designed professional system that meets design criteria with no overblown expectations.

I cannot say enough positive things about Mississippi Solar. They installed a total off-grid solution for our rural property. It consists of a total of 12 solar panels, 2 battery banks and a back up generator. The level of support and commitment to their work and product is something that I have not run across in using any other contractor. I did not know if solar was even feasible where we are. However, Mississippi Solar designed and completed the system...and most importantly, stuck with me during my learning process. I would definitely (and have) recommend(ed)this company to others.

Contractor made certain that the system size was appropriate to my current and future requirements prior to begining work. Very helpful in providing on-going communications through-out the project to include costs and installation progess. Extremely professional! Willing to develop alternate approaches when installing system to include generator back-up. Always tried to make sure I was pleased with system design, products used and operational performance. Project involved house that was totlally off the grid with primary source of power being solar. Contractor provided me with advance work scope education and explored low cost options with me in advance of begining work. Porject outside area where building inspections required and there were no state or local incentives available.

Mississippi Solar was great to work with from start to finish. I do not feel like I am just a customer, but rather that I am part of an on-going process to change the way we generate power.

Mississippi Solar`s owners and staff understood that we wanted solar power to help us live independently. Our project was a major investment for us and the folks worked with us on one design that would have been 4.6 kW and on our roof and ended up with a 6.4kW array on the ground behind us..and it will be easy to expand. We were working for an essential load array (we did 8 days after Katrina on a 4800 watt gas generator) and we have that and more--and a system that we are going to expand.They have made several trips here just to check on the efficiency of the system, tweaked this and that, to recommend the removal of one tree (increased collection over 20%), and have answered all calls and emails very quickly. They have long experience with solar power (including one who started using solar power 25 years ago)- they have a very efficient and unobtrusive staff and we had only a few hours of "no power" while wiring was done. This was planned in advance and we used our old gas generator. In addition to the dual fuel back up generator for our solar array, they installed a 20 kW generator as back up to the rest of our home/office. The price and all installation issues were in a contract that was clear and concise. We will be working with them on our future solar expansion and highly recommend this company.

We are pleased with the timing, installation and operation of our solar system. It has performed as described and we would recommend Mississippi Solar to anyone interested in solar power.

I was satisfied enough with Mississippi Solar to install a second system and they were my only consideration as a contractor.
