Metro Solar has been maintaining both of my solar systems for years and when I decided to add a battery backup system to my system I knew they were the people to call. Kyle and the rest of the crew did a great job, with plenty of explanation on each step. They are one of the few solar companies in the Denver area that will work on hydro thermal system.

Metro Solar and their team is outstanding. They installed our system almost 20 years ago and have ,maintained it since then. They are responsive when I have a question or an issue and always take care of everything completely. Our solar heating system has saved us a lot of money over the years because Metro Solar always makes sure everything works as it should. Thank you Dave and your entire team. You are the best!

Metro Solar removed our old system and replaced it quickly, efficiently and at a very reasonable price. It was a pleasure to work with Scott and his crew was neat and careful. We recommend them highly.

New Viessman boilers

I bought two new Viessman boilers from Metro Solar and had a very bad experience. The crew who installed the boilers told me they had never installed Viessman boilers before. One did not work. I was told it was an airlock, it was my fault, and I would have to pay for them to return to fix the problem. I refused. I read the Viessman guarantee and learned if I used untrained non-Viessman certified workers to do a repair on the boilers I would void my Viessman guarantee, which only covered parts and not the service call. I had to hire a certified Viessman technician to fix the problem. I was told it was not an airlock. I would never do business with Metro Solar again.

I enjoyed working with this company, smooth experience from beginning to end. Kathy and Dave kept me up to date on what was happening and when. Easy to use system too! That's a plus for me!

Dont waste your time

As other reviewers have noted you will want to avoid working with Dave and his team at Metro Solar. In my experience they are highly unprofessional and as a business philosophy seem to cut corners wherever they can on installations. Good luck getting any type of resolution when their corner cutting results in issues. I can think of no good reason to expose yourself to the risk of working with this company. You have been warned, but if for some reason you like to take chances with your time and money keep the following in mind. 1. Make sure they provide you with a detailed quote including an itemized breakdown of materials and labor costs. Failure to demand this could be costly. 2. Make sure they spell out exactly what their warranty on parts and labor covers, or you may find not much if anything is covered. 3. Lastly, save yourself the trouble and use another contractor.

Kathy and the whole team were absolutely wonderful. Kathy is the best and was always very responsive and always very friendly. She was an absolute joy to work with and a light in the long, dark process of replacing a hail damaged roof with solar. I never worried when I was working with her. I had Metro Solar remove and replace my solar panels and I couldn’t have been happier with their work! The technicians were on time, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would 100% recommend Kathy and her team! Thanks for being awesome!

Removal of Solar Thermal Kathy and the team were absolutely amazing with us! They were so kind, helpful and quick and helped us out when no one else would. We recently purchased a home that had non-functioning solar thermal installed and we needed to remove it to replace our roof. Kathy and the team were eager to help drain the system and get out there within a few days of us calling! No one else would help us just drain the system. Other companies would say "it's not worth their time" but Metro Solar was on it and helped us out quickly and efficiently! Now, we have an amazing new roof and the solar thermal taken off. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone getting solar.
