Huffman Electrical Systems

I unequivocally recommend Huffman Electric for solar installations based on our experience with Matt and the system he installed for us. - The quote was detailed and straightforward, with no upsells or vague line items. Everything was explained clearly upfront. - Matt answered every question we had throughout the process and made sure we fully understood what was being installed and why. - The installation was clean, professional, and completed without any issues. - Six months in, our electric bill has dropped significantly as the days have gotten longer. Our next bill will go to zero based on the current power being generated versus our utilization. The solar system has performed exactly as it should.

After calling around for an electric company for an entire day, I was finally able to get ahold of a live person, who services our area, and was dependable. From start to finish he kept us informed, and made this whole process quick and easy. He is extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with! Highly recommend.

We have to say how impressed we are with Huffman Electrical Systems. Matthew Huffman evaluated our home’s electrical usage and needs and helped us to build a solar power system for our home that is fully functional and very stable. He is incredibly knowledgeable and capable and HONEST! In our opinion, he is an outstanding individual on many different levels. I’m not sure how many other solar outfits we spoke with before Matthew Huffman but once we got to work with him we knew that he was the very best by far. Whenever we had an issue or question of any kind - even after he had completed all of his work - he has immediately responded. We may be adding to a part of our system and we will add further information as it becomes available. We highly recommend Matthew Huffman and his company, Huffman Electrical Systems, Inc

We contracted with Huffman Electrical Systems for our residential solar system at the recommendation of a friend. We are extremely pleased with the outcome of the project. Matthew Huffman and his crew were always professional, polite, punctual, and responsive to our questions. Matthew did a great job with a challenging installation and seamlessly handled all of the permitting and utility paperwork. He followed his proposal and billed us exactly what he said it would cost. He also set us up with an app to monitor our system performance. We had a great experience with this contractor--highly recommended!

We used this company to install an upgrade to our off-the-grid electrical system in October of 2020. This included replacement solar panels, inverter, charge controllers and new batteries. The system has now been up and running for over four months and it has been working splendidly. It has surpassed all our expectations and we are very pleased with it. I can't recommend this company enough. Matt Huffman is the go-to guy for this type of work in Central Virginia. He is a consumate professional and his work ethic is beyond reproach. Mr Huffman was always available to answer any questions and address any concerns before, during and after the installation. The project was completed neatly, on time and also UNDER budget! You will not regret hiring Mr. Huffman and I will not hesitate to call him back for any future projects.
