Quick, easy and best service in Puerto Rico

I'm happy with my installation! I've had been contemplating having a solar system installed for years but I did nothing thinking it was going to be such a hassle! When I finally decided to do something I was so pleased to be contact by Harness Power, It was so easy, and they worked everything out for me! Always keeping me informed and helping making sure the installation was on time and done perfectly. So pleased I would strongly recommend to anyone.

Latest bad review thumbs down

Worse experience ever

They hooked up the panels, and left.. then I get a bill from their financial backers saying we owe money… nope! The panels aren’t fully hooked up. They are just sitting on my roof. Then I get a letter saying they are out of business… great . I reach out to the financial backers and they say to wait; they’re working on it. After two months of nothing; I reached out and was told that I need to find someone else…. And then tell them who I’m using so they can bill me…. Nope!!! Don’t ever use harness or mosaic …. They are the only things tied together; unlike my actual power source

Out of Business - With Panels & Damage to My Home

Like the rest of the reviews here - Harness was supposed to complete our installation in February 2023. They started in November 2022. The finance company wanted us to get them 3 estimates from other solar companies and submit them to them. Are they insane? The first estimate isn't going to be anywhere near the original contract. And they wanted to charge us $1500.00 to remove the Harness equipment! The NEM 2.0 program had expired that we were supposed to get from the electric company. The costs have tripled now & our home has panels & equipment on the home that's useless! We submitted a claim to the California Contractor's Board as well & are moving towards our other options. Curious to know what other "victims" are moving to handle this!

Biggest Nightmare Ever and my Job has been abandoned

Filing a complaint with the Contractor State Licensing Board. Hired them in May 2022. Solar still not complete, can't get a return response, job has been abandoned. Reached out the CEO on LinkedIn and he apologized, its been 45 days since, and still nothing. I can't sell my home as the unfinished solar is sitting on my roof. The damaged 40 new tiles on my new roof.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE

Whatever you do, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HARNESS POWER, unless you do not value your home. My journey started with them July 7, 22 and today is Feb. 23, 2023 and still my system has not been installed properly.

Reply from Harness Power (out of business): Del, we understand your journey has taken far too long with us. This is admittedly VERY regrettable, and doesn't represent the vast majority of our installations, nor does it represent who we are as a Company. I am so sorry you have experienced unreasonable delays in your project. It appears our customer service is already in touch and will continue to drive this home for you. Thank you for your candor - I hope to see this to resolution with you very soon.

Cannot recommend at all

There is zero chance at this point, that I would ever use or recommend Harness Power to anyone. Almost a year and a half ago my household purchased a solar installation for our home in Costa Mesa, CA from Larsun – who was bought out shortly after by Harness Power. We were promised and purchased a system that we did not receive. The original system installed did not work, the company changed the system to something they were “very familiar” with, it too, does not work. So much for familiarity. The company has stated they will reimburse electric bills and loan payments on multiple occasions from multiple people- this occurred only for three months of utility bills despite the system not working for over a year and two months after the install was complete. The past year and a few months have been agonizing, and frustrating and infuriating. It has been mistake after mistake after an inability to solve or correct multiple problems, several lies, ridiculous lack of communication, and a system that still doesn’t function as promised….which, is still a significantly different function than we were sold. DO NOT utilize this company unless you enjoy spending all your free time calling just to get an update, having installers just show up at your home unannounced, or not showing when promised, and want a system that after over a year of toil, does not work.

Reply from Harness Power (out of business): Sadly we inherited some messes that were challenging to clear from LarSun. I am deeply sorry for your experience Marshal - I know we are on top of the resolutions for you now. Thank you so much for your patience.
