Reply from GC Electric Solar: Unfortunately the customer is not painting the complete picture here. His solar system was installed and completed on the timeframe promised in the contract. A new electrical panel upgrade was part of the work and minor stucco repair around the electrical panel was included in the contract. The same contract clearly stated in 8 sentences that since we are not a stucco contractor and are not charging for the stucco repair (free work), we will do our best to match the stucco to provide waterproofing and that if the customer does not like the stucco work, they should hire a stucco company to repair the stucco. When the customer was asked to make final payment, he ignored multiple requests for payment and 26 days after the permission to turn on the system was granted he decided to finally send an email asking us to repair the stucco and saying he will not pay until that is done which is against his legally signed contract. I then replied to him simply quoting the contract stating we will not repair the stucco per contract. He then said "you did A+ work up to finishing the stucco around the electrical box". He admitted everything was done properly. He then stated "That’s been F work since weeks go by". I assumed he was using vulgar language and I immediately reply to him letting him know we will not tolerate this language and that he should have read his contract clearly. He then become upset and said I was disrespecting him and he used many disrespectful language and comments and threaten us with bad reviews etc. A few emails exchanged and finally he said he was not using vulgar language and he was referring to the grade of our work that it was A+ and the stucco work was F work. I then apologized and offered other free services to make up for the lost time emailing back and forth. If he would simply say I misunderstood him or say F grade work instead of F work, there would be no back and forth. His comments were boarder line offensive but I did not use any offensive comments, vulgar language, or said anything bad other than stating we will not tolerate vulgar language and that we must follow the contract. At the end, he was 28 days late to make his final payment, did not read his contract to understand his obligations, and did not communicated with us to let us know what the issue was and instead of also apologizing for using offensive language and not making payment on time, he decided to write this baseless review.
