Awesome Experience

Evoke made the whole process of going solar really easy. I am very particular in respect to attention to detail and aesthetics, which is a big reason I choose Evoke. The system looks great and the whole team, Wes, Marc, Dan and Courtney were a pleasure to work with. The install team, led by Wes (owner), treated my home like their own! We will be turning the system on this week and can’t wait to see it operating. Would highly recommend the Evoke team to anyone interested in going solar.

Love my Solar Panels

I loved working with Evoke Solar. I met several different employees and they were all pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. I liked working with a small local company, that I can contact easily in the future with questions and advice. I liked the fact that I had choices of different types of panels. Some companies sell only one kind. I recommend them with no hesitation. The only reason they were not given 5 stars for being on schedule, is that I live in a town with their own electric company. The town was slow to do their part.

Removal and Reinstallation

We were going to replace the shingles at our home, so we needed the solar panels to be removed and reinstalled. Since the company that installed them in 2008 was no longer in business we needed a new company to do this. We believe Evoke Solar gave us a fair price, but more importantly they did an excellent job. They were very quick to respond to our requests, made sure they scheduled the jobs around the time of shingle installation so we would have minimal number of days without the panels. Also, after both times, they immediately sent the pictures of the roof so that we will see what happened up there, including the removal of a squirrel nest. We will highly recommend them.

Great people, great installation

Evoke was courteous, professional and thorough. They are good communicators and worked with us to get through the permits and other bureaucratic steps involved with solar. Good group of people to work with and professional installation. Hard working installation team.

Positive Experience

Evoke Solar provided an extremely professional experience. Having shopped around, their price, the products, and the installation was far ahead of their competitors. From meeting the sales Rep to installation by Wes and crew , everything was smooth and easy. The support staff Roshelle, Courtney and Dan were always available for any question I have regarding the installation & paper work with PSEG. Overall very positive experience.

Great Job on Our 5.9 kW Home Solar PV System!

I give Evoke Solar my highest recommendation as a solar PV system installer. Their salesperson, Marc, answered my 1001 questions patiently and honestly and was flexible in helping me evaluate a few different system configurations. This was very important to me as I am an engineer and need to get into the weeds before I decide on anything! Evoke's pricing was very competitive with other solar installers and after reading customer reviews online and contacting references, Evoke was the clear winner. Once we signed the contract, Evoke quickly got us a schedule which projected about 3 months from start to completion. This turned out to be almost right on the money! The system design and roof structural analysis took about 3-4 weeks. Next, the Township permit and utility company interconnection application couldn't have been any easier. Evoke did all the paperwork and we simply reviewed and signed it. The installation itself went amazingly well and took only 6 hours onsite from when they showed up to when they left. The entire crew was courteous and efficient. Wes, the owner and crew chief, was extremely knowledgeable and happy to entertain questions. His years of experience going back to the early 2000's shows through. Post-install went smoothly as well with the 2nd part interconnection agreement and utility bidirectional meter installation completed within about 10 days after system installation. When an unusual issue with the SunPower monitoring of our home electrical usage surfaced, Evoke came out the next day and fixed it. Finally, registration with an SREC aggregator, recommended by Evoke, went smoothly and we received a beautiful and comprehensive Owner's Packet with all of the system hardware documentation and warranty registration material. The installation is aesthetically beautiful. My wife who is a former design professional and who has a very critical eye absolutely loved it! Evoke even took a really sharp drone photo of our installation which quickly made the rounds on social media! Both Wes and Roshelle have both been responsive and efficient in addressing any questions or concerns we had. It is a good feeling to work with folks who have such passion for what they do and we are looking forward to having their support as we embark upon our journey toward a more sustainable future. It is also great to think that the system will pay for itself over the next decade and a half while reducing our electricity cost to practically nil for the foreseeable future.

Up to the challenge

Wes and his crew undertook a real challenge when they installed an 18kw solar system with battery and generator backup on my property. His consulting engineer, Ron Celetano, spent many hours assuring that all of the automatic sequencing worked properly. Rochelle writes a well written, illustrated user manual. I highly recommend Evoke Solar.

TRUSTWORTHY, PROFESSIONAL, & FRIENDLY

Evoke Solar installed a 12.42kw system consisting of 36 SunPower 345w panels on the roof of my home last summer. They used SolarEdge technology for the inverter and to optimize and monitor each panel. The system has been cranking out power, and I love being able to monitor generation on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis with the SolarEdge app. I pruned a tree in the backyard and saw the difference on a panel that was being shaded. I met with 4 different solar installers before hiring Evoke. I knew SunPower was a premium product but I want my panels to last, and the warranty meant a lot -- not to mention the aesthetics of these panels, plus the high efficiency. Wes was highly professional incredibly friendly, and as I met other companies and did research online, I grew to understand just how knowledgeable he was. He modeled out probably a dozen different approaches to our installation, including using other brands of panels, different Sunpower panels (315/365 I think), and helped me understand all the numbers and optimize the setup to get the most value. He was easy to communicate with by email and text message throughout the process, and along with Roshelle, Evoke was patient with all my questions, and kept me informed throughout the permitting process. The whole experience was really the opposite of the impersonal, corporate approach that many big solar installers employ. There was no hard sell, no strong-arm sales tactics and no misleading information -- I really felt Wes was helping me plan this project with the same directness as though I were a family member, or if he were installing solar on his own roof. In addition, he was friendly to my dog and my kids every time he visited, and he and his installation team were conscientious and respectful of our house and property, which included treading carefully around a basement refinishing project that was going on at the same time. Evoke Solar could not make it easier

The Quality of Sunpower is definitely the best I've seen. From the low pressure and informative sales through the professional install and system turn over, Evoke exceeded expectations all the way. We have had zero electric bills for two months, and we could not be happier! They walk you through the entire process and it could not be easier.

EVOKE SOLAR SUPER JOB

EVOKE SOLAR did an excellent job on my system. I up-graded an older system and added a new Array to power a large home addition. Wes and Rochelle were there for me every step of the way. It was far from the average install. I had to convince my utility provider of what my new utilities would be in the future. I also had to have the new install completely separate from the first system, so I could collect a full 15 years of SREC's from the new system. EVOKE went the extra mile in helping with all the additional paperwork and getting me approved. The install went smooth and problem free. I'm in my new addition and still have no electric bill. Best team EVER!

From the beginning to the end, Evoke Solar's team (Mark, Wes, and Roshelle) were always there to answer my questions and update me with the progress of converting to solar. I couldn't be happier with how I was treated and tell everyone about them. There are very few companies today that I feel give the kind of service I received from them. They were courteous, on time, and while professional, they were all very friendly and helpful. It was such a pleasure to "work" with them.

Wes and Roshelle were great to work with. Wes explained all the details and concerns relating to installing panels on our roof as well as understanding my concerns for the aesthetics of the installation by providing me with the necessary drawings to understand how they would look on our roof. I went with the Sunpower signature black panels with individual microinverter in each panel. I would highly recommend Evoke.

Great Company

The Evoke Solar team was a huge help from start to finish. They install SunPower panels, the best panels in the world. The owner was one of the guys on my roof installing the system.
