RIP OFF

I have had my solar operating for four months. No it is broken,still making payments for solar and paying a power bill as well. Solar Equity has the worst customer service. It has been broken for over a month no help.Please don't get Equity Solar they are a scam. Leo my salesman is a big liar. He put me in bankruptcy. Thank you Lao and Soler Equity.

Cuidado con estas dos compañia son los mas inresposable que existen. Esto a sido pesadilla llevo 6 meses esperando y todavia el sistema no funciona. Me dijeron que mi sistema hiba a ser instalado en 30 dias eso es falso. No paso inspeccion en multiples ocaciociones debido la pesima instalacion. Los sistema solares funcionan pero por compañias como estas dos y sus lideres es que las personas dudan de la energia solar. No hagan negocio con estas compañia si lo hacen se van a arepentir. Tengo suficiente documentacion para probar todo lo que digo en este review.

Solar panels

I’ve had my solar panels for about a year now, when I bought them I was promised one thing by the salesman and after they were installed. I called to have them uninstalled due to wanting to install a new metal roof. That’s when I found out the salesman had feed me a bunch of stuff and nothing was as he said. I’ve been calling the company for months now to try to figure out what they are going to do about it so I can get my new roof replaced. I was told I had to pay for the uninstalling and the install again which is different from what I was told by the salesman. Knowing what I know now I would of went with another company.

Bad company

So I'm coming back here to add more information about this company, as I said in my last review, they sell you a product and deliver another, telling you they'll provide perfect service when you have problems and they don't comply, for another month in a row I have another FPL account and they won't refund you, they just say they'll refund you but never do, they'll always ask you to withdraw the negative review. This month I've already paid FPL $527 and they haven't refunded me anything. I removed my account from auto pay and I won't pay anymore until the company itself calls me to court, so let's go in front of the judge because today I just want them to remove these panels from my roof, they don't work properly and I believe it would be cheaper for me not to have the panels and have my energy only with FPL again. Please can you send me a private message, I'll prove everything I'm saying. And another piece of equipment arrived at my house and they don't have a technician to install it, what professionals are these 0 star companies?

Servicio al cliente deficiente

El pasado sábado 21 de septiembre del 2024 aproximadamente a las 4:30 am nuestra comunidad en Silver Springs, Ocala se quedó sin energía eléctrica. Con un equipo de $55,000.00 de Equity Solar, nuestro sistema de placas solares tardó más de 15 minutos en activarse y cuando finalmente lo hizo su potencia nisiquiera mantuvo nuestro aire acondicionado encendido. Ya en un suceso anterior a éste nos dijeron que nuestro aire acondicionaso estaba dañado y invertimos mucho dinero en un sistema de aire acondicionado nuevo. Llamamos a Equity Solar y al parecer no tienen personal que conteste el teléfono durante el fin de semana para trabajar con emergencias como éstas. El lunes llamamos y el caballero que contestó nos dijo que alguien nos iba a devolver la llamada lo cual nunca ocurrió. Procedimos a llamar nuevamente y el caballero nos dijo que el sistema indicaba que todo marchaba bien con el équipo a lo que le dije que no estaba de acuerdo y que quería dialogar con un técnico. El caballero me dijo que el técnico me llamaría y nunca lo hizo. Llamé nuevamente y le solicité que enviaran a alguien a verificar mi sistema y no hubo ni llamada ni visita. Hoy 26 de septiembre nuevamente sin energía eléctrica y misma falla en nuestro sistema de placas solares que según la persona que contestó el teléfono nos dijo que su sistema indicaba que todo marchaba bien. Equity Solar no vendan sueños y denle a sus clientes que inverter mucho dinero el servicio que Merecen. Portalatín Vega espera su pronta respuesta. Gracias

I have been dealing with them for 3 years. I bought a 52 panel and 20kw battery system for a little over $114,000 financed. I have been having issues with the battery system nearly every 6 to every 8 months. Either it quits working or one side is not charging properly. Either way I’m out over $20,000 for batteries that are not working. Now trying to get them out is something different. Called them 4 times in a two week period!! Finally got a commitment of sending someone out on 08/16/24 “NO SHOW “!! This has been an experience every year for the last three years.

A month ago I sent for a supposed audit to be done because the numbers that the solar panels are generating are inflated numbers and I have been calling to get an answer to this and no one is even able to come forward and give an explanation, please if anyone is ready If you put them, don't do it, my number is [redacted for privacy], you can call me or send me a message, I can show with proof that this company does not act as they say, remember, if you have doubts, my personal number is there, call me or send me a message, I can prove that this company is lousy

Sales commissions unpaid, no one take responsability.

I have sales commissions unpaid, been calling since the month of May. The person in charge of the sales representatives doesn't work in the company anymore, the person in charge of the recruiting process doesn't work anymore. No one responds after many e-mails. Not convenient for a sales representative job, even with a signed contract.

Disappointed with everything

False promises accused, they told me that with the solar system I would save on my electricity bill, that my bill would be $17.00 or $25.00 but it's all a lie. Now I have a fixed promissory note for 25 years of $227.37 plus the electricity bill this month of $93.44 for a total of $320.81, a difference of $12.00 from last year. This is a false hoax. And it took 1 year from when we started the negotiation that began on May 28, 2022 and on May 16, 2023 they finally finished the installation.

Unfinished job

Unfinished job. No battery connected to the system. Also the blue prints by the engineer have 4 solar panels to the front of the house that is pointed to the west. They install 11 solar panels to the north that are not producing power. The Sun in my house comes out from the southeast to the southwest. The 11 Solar panels in the north are waist of money and time. From the beginning I am arguing that out of the 11 panels, put 6 panels in the front of the house so they get power to the grid in the afternoon after 2pm and from the 11 panels takeout and move 2 panels to the back of the house that is pointing to the east. I don't know way they put 11 panels to the north were I don't get sun in that side of the house. I started with this company back in July 2022 and the job is not finish!

Mi peor desicion

Definitivamente comprar este sistema solar de esta compañía de Equity Solar a sido la peor desicion que e tomado en mi vida. Llevo desde Junio del 2019 pagando por el sistema y encima de el pago de casi $300 dólares me siguen llegando facturas de Duke de sobre $200 dólares. Esta compañía no a cumplido con lo que me vendieron. Ahora mismo el sistema lleva un mes apagado y no envían a un técnico para que arregle el problema. Para mi está a sido la estafa del siglo. Cuando finalmente contestan el teléfono de servicio al cliente después de múltiples llamadas siempre me contesta la misma persona (un tal Christian) con un servicio terrible y de mal gusto. Sigo teniendo problemas con mi sistema y esta compañía no cumple con la garantía.

Dishonest presentation and very slow process

We where presented to the program on July 2021 and part of the reason we diced to go solar was because the so called GOVERNMENT CREDIT we would have back for the purchase of the system which it was garante by the sale person that we will get the money (26% of the cost of the system) when we file the taxes. First of all: Tax credit means money that is give it to you as credit only if you owe taxes at the time you file and with that being said means only if you make a good figure on your income ( more than $80,000 a year for a single person). So please don’t offer something to the customers when you need to educate your sales representatives on what they are offering just to make a sale. The sales person went even further giving advise on what to do whit the refund ether keep it or put the money down on the original loan. Just to be clear ! THERE IS NOT SUCH A THING CALLED REFUND FROM THE GOVERNMENT IN CASH! I’m not making this up, it was confirmed by two accountants and also with the IRS So please stop lying to people just to meet your numbers. It is very disappointed that a big company like yours only care about sales. Also want to mention that the system was installed on October 2021 and to this date (February 21/2022) is not operating yet due to the wrong paper work from Equaty solar sent to the electric company, so I being paying double bill since December/2021 SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WHOLE PROCESS
