We could not have imagined a better experience working with Nader and his team. He was very communicative throughout the whole process, from planning to the final install. He took the time to patiently answer my many, many questions and made sure to design a solution that fit our budget, time constraints, and energy requirements.

It is very rare to have such a pleasurable business experience with a company as I did with Electriculture. Nader is professional, realistic, and most importantly, honest. In the beginning, I was under the impression that I needed more equipment than necessary, and he was quick to educate me and talk me out of spending the extra money on something I wouldn't need. How many businesses these days would do that? Nader handled all of the necessary permitting work, as well as bringing in the Electricians and Roofers to inspect things prior to installation. He was able to accommodate my project quickly so that I would still be eligible for the Solar Tax Credit before next year. Installation went very smoothly, and after final inspection, I'm making my own power! If you are considering a solar system of any kind, large or small, this is the company you want. From cost, to convenience, to friendly faces, you won't find better!

In 2022, Electriculture installed a 20 panel system on my house and detached garage, additionally coordinating bundled panel upgrade and tree pruning work. 3 years later, I continue to be supremely pleased with my purchase. Owner Nader Shaheen was eagerly involved in every phase of the project, including working alongside his installation crew on the roof. There was none of the disconnect between contractor, salesman, and installers that so often occurs with major home improvement projects. I got everything that was promised in the contract, without needing to play the role of amateur project manager or lawyer. Quality panels and power conversion equipment, striking the right balance between performance and cost, were used. All work was professionally done and the entire panel array was installed in one day. Electriculture didn't engage in high pressure sales tactics or try to sell me something I didn't need. The quoted project cost was quite reasonable. During the consultation, Nader was very honest about my property's tree-shading issues. He expressed serious concern that the daily periods of shading on my roofs, plus my low (as of 2022) household electricity usage, would result in uneconomical system performance and a very lengthy project payoff. He was prepared to not sell me a system. After explaining that I had plans to add significant electrical load and that my primary reason for going solar was to offset household CO2 emissions, Nader proceeded to design a system that perfectly fit my needs and situation. Happily, the energy production of my array has easily exceeded both of our initial expectations, allowing me to absorb the load and cost of charging 2 EV's (2023 and 2025), while still leaving enough extra production to most likely accommodate much of the expected additional load of converting from gas to electric heat (2025 or 2026). At current load and energy costs, I'm projecting project payoff in about 13 years. If my neighbor follows through on her idea to have her 3 oak trees removed, the additional production from my solar array will allow me to add high-efficiency cooling to my home and possibly achieve net-zero emissions and costs for my yearly household energy usage. Not too shabby. Communications with Electriculture were, and continue to be, prompt, efficient, professional, and courteous. Many contractors ignore you, once they have the final check in hand, but Nader isn't like that. He offered advice about solar panel cleaning products and techniques, after tree pollen built up on my panels (2023). He happily worked with SRECTrade to restore my system production reporting, when they had a hiccup in their conversion from manual to automatic performance reporting (2024). He answered some questions I had about large-scale solar arrays, as I tried to join the public fight against local communities' efforts to ban solar farms (2023-2024). We've even had some quick chats about EV's. It's easy to see that solar energy and energy efficiency motivate Nader. I have no doubt that Electriculture will be there to help if I ever have a system component failure. Long story short, I would recommend Electriculture to anyone looking to add residential solar to their home or property.

The Electriculture team was a pleasure to work with, they were realistic reviewing our shaded (not all of the trees are on our property) and East facing site and its potential for an appropriate solar collection system. All of the team members were courteous, conscientious and professional. We are pleased to now be collecting solar energy which began, appropriately, on the summer solstice of 2022, a day on which we collected 14.0 kWh of electricity with our small 4.6 kW - 10 panel system. Since the installation we have been happy with the production... April 2024 was a good month...best day April 25 with 14.0 kWh of energy collected by the panels...then the trees began dusting the panels with pollen, it started to leaf-out and we had some cloudy skies and rain too...but, overall we are pleased with the system.

above and beyond service!
Working with Electriculture and Nader, my solar panel engineer, was just awesome! I can't express how happy I am with the whole experience. He took care of everything from roofers, to electricians, to even plumbing to move a vent pipe! He was kind enough to do some searching, calling and organizing appointments for subcontractors. Nader sat down with my wife and me and explained the whole solar deal. He also answered all my questions about the government solar tax credit. Anytime I had a question, Nader spent a lot of time on the phone with me making sure everything was clear. His approach wasn't some generic spiel; he customized everything according to my needs. He worked around my schedule well. There was an unsightly vent pipe for sewer directly in the middle of my ideal array. He found a plumber for me and got it moved on installation day. I still use that plumber to this day for any other plumbing I need. I even got a new roof at the time so he was able to arrange a very affordable roofing company to do it simultaneously. The whole tearoff to installation was only 2-3 days if I remember correctly. They were very efficient. And after all was installed, Nader still will check in on the system if he sees something not right. One of the microinverters was defective from the factory, so he ordered the new part and got it installed as soon as it came in. The couple of times the solar data receiver got unplugged in my house, Nader was able to quickly identify that I wasn't reporting any data and called to check if I knew if anything was wrong. He is very vigilant to make sure I'm always getting 100% out of my system, even years after installation. In a nutshell, my experience with Electriculture and Nader was fantastic. If you're thinking about going solar, they're the ones to call. My solar panel system is everything I could've hoped for! I highly recommend Electriculture and Nader – they make the solar switch easy and fun. Thanks, guys!

A near perfect installation and experience with Electriculture
I was really pleased with the attention to detail both before and during the installation. One of the positives for me is that Electriculture is a local Canton business, as opposed to an out-of-state firm with an Ohio post office box. I was dealing directly with the local owner, who was and is very knowledgeable. He was not just a salesman, but was the person who designed our system. He took the time to answer all our questions. The pricing was competitive. The build itself was well done, by people who knew what they were doing. I was very impressed by the use of competent union electricians. And there was a lot of attention to making our installation as visually attractive as possible to fit in with the expectations of our neighbors and our home o

Excellent Value and Customer Service
Electriculture provided excellent customer service from beginning to end. They were able to answer all of our questions, did all of the paperwork behind the scenes, and made sure the installation was a smooth process. The communication before, during, and after the sale was excellent. The proposal was very detailed and in writing, including a couple different size and panel options. They were able to fulfill our request for American made panels, finding a supplier that was able to deliver so that the system could be installed by the end of the year. The value of the system is excellent. After looking into 3 other companies, I am very happy to have found Electriculture, as their knowledge of the system, value, and customer service stood out among them.
