I chose EGT because their CEO responded promptly, held to his bid. Also, the sales presentation was clear, fair and honest. When their tech rep was here to finalize the plan, he was knowledgeable, and thorough. The installation crew was equally thorough and finished the install as promised.

EGT Solar was founded in 2009 in Boise, ID as only the 2nd solar company in the state. Here at EGT Solar we are a fully licensed Electrical Contractor which means we do not hire any type of 3rd party contractors to do any work at all. We do everything in house from showing you how solar works all the way to the installation of the system. So everything from start to finish is done by EGT.Most homeowners would rather have a single contractor do all the work rather then have it subbed out to who knows who... Right?
That said we have a 5 Star Rating on all Media outlets and an A+ with the Better Business Bureau. We are a locally owned and operated company right in Meridian, one of the only truly local companies in the area have been going on 11 years now. We are heavily involved in charitable organizations and always strive to give back to our community. You would rather work with someone local, right?
Now the reason I say EGT Solar is a "Truly Local" company is because the popularity and demand of Solar is constantly rising out here so now, we are seeing Solar companies from out of state like Utah and a lot from California are starting to flood into the area and set up set up sales teams. Now of course they can sale you Solar but when a sales team from out of state moves into a new area it is not like they bring install crews and electricians with them. So what they do is hire 3rd party contractors to install the systems and that is where you run into the biggest problems.
That is why it is so important to us at EGT Solar to do all of the work in house where we have all the proper training and licensing, so we can always take complete responsibility of the quality of your installation.
