Great to work with and back their work
Yes we had 32 panels installed on a ground rack. They did a great job! They are friendly, know their business. We had a couple of inverter problems of which they were responsive and they replaced them at no charge. Very professional and courteous. Highly recommend Eco Depot for your solar panel installation.

Great service
Even though we have a solar heat system more that 10 years old, we were taken on as new clients and the old system was restored to full function in one day, including some beneficial upgrades in pump placement and venting, Highly recommend thi company

Work couldn`t actually start on time because the panels were on backorder. We were initially told a date with the caveat that they would not be available at that time. We expected a delay, which was fine with us. The financial incentives we had were the federal tax credit, which ECO Depot made sure we understood , and the money for solar generation given by the state of Washington, which ECO Depot explained to us. Inland Power and Light was also very helpful, reiterating all the information that ECO Depot gave us.

The system is running good so far, but they have never been back to check up on the system. I started the process in October 2010, and was told 6 - 8 weeks for completion. Then was given a call after I signed and paid a down payment, stating the solar panels would not be delivered until Jan 2011. Much later I received a call with an explanation as to why my system was not yet installed. We finally got the system installed near the end of February. When I add on to my system I will use another company. For the reasons stated above I do not recommend this company.

We really weren`t told a price breakdown when we got a bid. We told him we had a budget of $ 12k and he made a bid that was for $ 12. very ambiguous. He alloted $ 500 for electrical contractor to run wire from garage to panel. The bill was under $ 500, however, he still charged us more than $ 500 for contractors work. Then, he wired the panels himself, without a license. He was fined by L&I, a licensed electrician had to fix his mess, and had to reroute another wire which is now exposed, to panel. It also was not fully functional for months. It should`ve been done many many months ago, but wasn`t done until recently. I am very unhappy with Bruce`s work and he should not be allowed to install solar panels. We will not be using his company to expand panels. Unfortanately, there are not many options in our area for solar panels. Even less options for those who can install them. If we had other options, we would`ve explored a more local installation team.

System provides only 75% of expected. Contractor managed the "no sales tax" benefit and directed me to the application for state and local power company rebates.

There were two instances where the vendor and his sub, missed detail on the engineering plans. When these were pointed out at review, both items were promptly fixed.

EcoDepot was a joy to work with, we thought we wanted a wind generator but after reviewing all the options, costs and maintance requirement went with the solar pvs

Weather effected start time Overall good experience, I called other PV contractors, but did not get bids, as they did not offer the product I wanted.

System not yet connectd (due to connect on Saturday) thus cannot answer `after sale support` question

This survey would be more effective had your company waited a few weeks to contact me after installation. I have the `it`s actually too early to tell` impression at this time. EcoDepot owners are always a pleasure to work with.

After teaching solar design and starting a solar energy association in this area 30 years ago, and then getting the NW Ecobuilding Guild running in this Inland Chapter area for the last 4 years, I was finally able to walk my talk! I truly believe that as a resources-bountiful-country, we as Americans have a duty and a responsibility to set the best example for the rest of the citizens of this fine planet and produce our own electricity. The utlities must cease being a monopoly and return to being a service. They must stop paying their stockholders/shareholders and start paying the energy producers - those consumers producing electricity. Only the consumers can make the utilities honest again. My pv grid-intertie system handles 15% of my load year-round and right now it is producing over 50% of my electric needs. Ecodepot was very professional and helpful in all phases of design and installation both of the solar attic fan and the 1000-watt grid-intertie photovoltaic system. I highly recommend Bruce Gage and Nadine Sullivan - owners of Ecodepot.

Bruce and Ecodepot are a very high quality and professional organizeation.

Bruce Gage was extremely helpful in explaining the entire solar system to me. I asked him hundreds of questions about the wiring, potential for expansion, and capability and he had the patience of a saint. Nadine was very helpful in getting me in touch with Bruce when I had follow-up questions. I would recommend Eco Depot to anyone who is considering any kind of alternative power. They are very professional while still being extrememly personable.

On the `technology installed` question, we had grid tied solar and hot water installed.
