Diamond Solar has been outstanding in every way. Straightforward consultation. Fast, efficient, quality installation. They had my system up and running in a matter of days. It was connected to the power company in a month. The follow-up service has been fantastic. Sean was my project supervisor. He is very cool and knows his stuff.

Between February and May Diamond Solar installed solar panels on our roof and coordinated the installation of a new heat pump/cooling system in our home with their sister company. It was a major job and throughout the process they were communicative, professional and worked with us through concerns we had. Sean especially was a reliable contact person who really walked me through the process. I waited a while to give them a review because I wanted to see how and whether these upgrades worked over time. Now we've had some power bills that have reflected our new solar setup, and have stayed comfortable during this hot July without feeling like we're hurting the planet. I'm very pleased that we went with Diamond Solar for this work.

Diamond Solar did an amazing job on our home solar project with battery backup and an EV charger. Wow! This company is good

I didn't know what to expect from a roofing company, but Diamond Solar of North Hollywood has set the standard very high. From the beginning, their project manager communicated with us often and with kindness and professionalism. He's been with us during the entire journey, including coming out to during the claims assessment to make sure our insurance company didn't miss an inch of damage. Other than feeling really comfortable working with Diamond Solar, we've been able to trust them the whole way. Because they've explained the process and their recommendations, line by line, every step of the way, we know we picked the best company. I cannot recommend them enough! Truly, words are not enough. Getting our roof replaced has been the easiest process. You won't find more trustworthy and compassionate people anywhere else.

What not to like?

The entire team, from day one, has been up front and honest. Above and beyond helpful. Broke things down when things weren’t adding up. Any issues were resolved with immediate urgency and thoroughness. Price was spot on, no haggle, no bait and switch, no over pricing just cause they could style BS. I interviewed 12 different solar companies before settling with this team. Everyone has gotta make money, but there comes a point when it’s price gouging and Diamond Solar didn’t do that. Highly recommend and have given them many referrals.

Diamond Solar did an awesome job on my solar install. I worked with Jeff and he was knowledgeable with the different manufacturers and solar equipment and patiently answered all of my questions. The project went faster than I expected. LADWP inspected, approved and gave me permission to operate all at lightning speed. My next door neighbor did a solar install with another company weeks before mine started and her solar still has not been turned on. Kudos to Diamond Solar for being my solar rock stars! In my opinion the thing that separates Diamond Solar from the rest of the competition is the owner has over 12 years experience and has taken the time to train his staff.

Very Bad Experience Adding On to Existing System

I hired Diamond Solar to add on 15 panels to an existing 26 panel installation that was done by LA Solar Group. Contract was signed in August. Installation started in October and was not completed until January. There were at least 5 different times I was told someone would be at my house to work on it and no one showed up. I lost months of production on my existing panels during this time. I asked them to clean my panels to make up for the lost production, they said they would and it was never done. With LA Solar I had visibility to production on the Solaredge monitoring web site and app. Diamond did not set it up. I just got my first electric bill and my production was only up 5% year over year. Now I have to figure out how to deal with this. I don't understand why I was treated this badly as a customer. I paid cash for everything on time. I accepted their initial proposal price and didn't negotiate them down. They had my email address and cell number to text if there was trouble getting a hold of me.

Saved me A LOT of money $$$$

I was very skeptic about the whole solar business from the get go. However, a neighbor of mine recommended to get a quote from Diamond Solar Inc. They insisted that in just a few months they saw a drastic difference in their utility bill and that it was such an easy and a "no brainer" process. So I called them figuring I had nothing to lose. A few days later, a guy by the name of Leo Benjamin showed up to my house and in about a half an hour, after reviewing my current utility bills and checking the size of my roof, he quoted me a price I could not resist. I guess I got lucky, since he was the regional director of the company. He offered me a program through Mosiac Financing that would make it affordable and easy to qualify for. Three weeks later, I had a whole system up and running on my roof, and in just two months time I saved over 90% on my LADWP electricity bill. I wanted to thank them for making it so fast and so easy to deal with. I highly recommend Diamond Solar Inc. to whoever is smart enough to save so much money especially with such high electrical billing in the past few years.
