Creative Energies

Excellent company to work with. Very professional and responsive to my needs.

Top-to-Bottom excellence

Ten years ago Creative Energies installed our rooftop array, and we just had them back to install a Franklin whole-home battery backup system. Both times it was very easy to get the work done. CE helped us with the paperwork so we could receive the tax credits and energy credits from the state, the IRS and from Rocky Mountain Power. The CE personnel are knowledgeable about their services and products, and they kept us informed along the way during both installations.

The Creative Energies technical team has been great. They stepped in to deal with a faulty system that Action Solar spec'd then failed to honor their warranty. Thank you Creative Energies!

Creative Energies installed solar at our home this summer. From the process of getting a bid until the final install they were professional, showed up when they said they would, and did quality work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to getting solar installed.

Creative Energies is hands down the best Utah solar company and who I trust the most (by far). They are great to work with, professional, and trustworthy! I also really like and respect that they are not only the solar company I will refer my clients to, but that they are a certified B corp and committed to positive change. If you're looking for solar, definitely go with Creative Energies, and ask for Tom Mills as he's who I work with the most often there. EXCELLENT COMPANY!!!

Service Issue

It hs been years since we had solar installed by CE. Great product. good results. After all these years we changed internet service and needed some help getting our system reporting. We have not had reporting since October of 2023. Our calls to Creative Energies ended with a need to replace two 'Emphase' modules at a price of over $1300. There was no attempt to be willing to help, without getting a service fee. This is a simple reset since this all occurred after switching to Xfinity. After years of recommending them...I can no longer do so. All the installation and product kudoes asside...service is still the reason we should support a company. They simply said...sorry...you are out of warranty. There is a 10 year warranty...... so why no service!

Assessment and unit replacement

Our power bills began to get larger. The installing company no longer existed so after some research I found Creative Energies. I called for help and Justin came within a day. He evaluated our problem and said that our Solar Edge unit was not working. Justin told us that it was covered under warranty and got it replaced very quickly. Our system continues now after 9 months to be working at 100%. Justin was professional, straight forward,, and communicated very well with us to help us understand the issue. We will continue using Creative Energies for our annual check up. Thanks Justin! Drew and Pamela Cannon

We are very happy with and completely satisfied with our solar panel installed by Creative Energies. Every employee was professional, courteous, competent and helpful. Tom Mills and others on the administrative side handled all the bureaucratic details and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. The install crew worked hard and overcame a number of unforeseen technical difficulties. These folks are the best, I would give them my highest recommendation.                          Paul and Joyce Martini

Unflinching Integrity

Creative Energies and Tom Mills, specifically, were dialed in to my concerns with putting solar on my home in a wooded area. They were more interested in determining what the best solution would be, even if that meant NOT installing solar. Other companies are more interested in originating a loan than helping home owners go green in an economical way. If I'm going to be connected to a company for 25 yrs, I want to be connected to an ethical company like Creative Energies with Tom Mills as the person I get to work beside.

A job well done--in a remote place

Our home is in a pretty remote part of southern Utah, and Creative Energies was willing and able to work with us here. They also had to deal with a local power company not particularly receptive to solar. The project manager worked his way through these challenges successfully. Once we got to the installation, the installers were competent and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Great experience with Creative Energies

I initially worked with Justin to transfer my system from my original service provider (Synergy Power) after their assets were sold and the new company would not service our system (ARGH!!!). Justin was great to work with while we investigated communication issues, which were quickly diagnosed and resolved through his guidance. Afterwards, I worked with Con to coordinate the removal and re-installation of one of our panels so some repairs could be made to our home in the area near the panel. Con was also great as we coordinated around three different contractor schedules to get the home repairs completed and the panel re-installed. I will continue to work with Creative Energies if/when we need their assistance.

Everything was absolutely trouble free. Very smooth. Tom Mills was very professional and helpful in understanding all aspects of the project. Communications were thorough and appointments kept.

Warenty Service

Very excellent and professional. Excellent pricing. I will forever trust Creative Energies. Thank You!

Excellent to work with

I started looking into solar as a first-time homeowner in 2020 and Creative Energy was recommended by multiple sources. Tom Mills met with me on several occasions to discuss some unique challenges to successful implementation on our home and was able to guide me through the process, which was finally finished earlier this year. They were patient, professional and came through in every way. Since installation, the company has circled back multiple times to make sure the system is working as intended. I highly recommend the company.

Tom Mills and Creative Energies were great to work with, and have continued to offer helpful advice long after my installation was complete. I'm happy with the system I got and am glad I got to work with people who are so passionate about solar energy.

Quick Repair to an existing system after a tough winter.

They installed our Solar Panel and Battery System last year. It was a simple turn key operation. This winter our panels were covered with snow most of the season. When the snow melted (finally got some sun), one of the panels had numerous cracks. We aren't sure what happened. CE was very responsive to my call and fixed it in a timely manner. It was a small fee, most of the service was covered under their first year of service policy. Thanks for the great work and my system is functioning fully. Donald Kirk. Afton WY

Our inverter fried and both the company we purchased through and the installer have both gone under. I reached out to Creative Energies and they responded quickly, handled the warranty claim and installed our new inverter in January. We were amazed they got it done with such a crazy winter. We're up high in Draper and conditions were less than ideal. They are a great company, honest and hassle free. I hope to not have any more issues but I will happily use them if any arise.

Awesome company

My Solar wasn’t working. The original installer went out of business. Creative Energies took over got the parts warrantied and I’m producing energy again. They were awesome, professional and prompt.

Solar maintenance

Great to work with on an existing system. Bought a house with Solar and wanted it checked out. Creative Energies was helpful and attentive to detail.

We had quotes from several companies and really dug in to understand the equipment and our needs. I'm still satisfied that we chose the best partner in Creative Energies. We love our system, it is producing well and the customer service through the whole process was great. Great communication, clarity, product, and support. There is a reason they have been around for so long.

Great install

I put off installing solar for a long time based on second hand horror stories from other people. Fortunately, CE not only did not cause me any of the problems I had heard of, but Tom and the rest of the crew I worked with throughout the process were able to meet every issue I brought up or caused with no problem. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Creative Energies to anyone.

Absolutely outstanding company...the best in Utah for sure.

I spent hours learning online, attending courses and talking to other folks in Utah and Colorado (and 1 in Wyoming) before being certain CE is the ONLY one I'd ever recommend to my family and friends. Their skills are top notch in terms of state-of-the-art technology. I trust their estimate and education and ongoing customer service for about a decade have been flawless. Use them!

Smooth operator

Creative Energies did a seamless job installing my solar panels. They have been up on our roof now for several years and I hardly notice them. I do notice lower energy bills though, and that is nice perk and good for the environment as well.

Amazing Installation and Service Company

We have used Creative Energies on numerous solar projects and all the projects were completed on budget and on time. They are professional, knowledgable, and a pleasure to work with!

Excellent products, installation and services

We had a worry-free experience when the panels were installed. These panels not only reduce fossil fuel consumption, but look awesome, gleaming with beautiful reflections of nature around it. Creative Energy has the expertise, customer service and after sale support that we truly have been delighted with.

Great to work with and very good workmanship.

These guys are top notch. We were assigned a project manager (Brenna) and things when smoothly and fast. The crew was professional and did an outstanding job. Pricing is very competitive. We've had our system for a year now and it has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend CE Solar.

Terrific Turnkey System

Creative Solar gave me an excellent bid on a top line solar system for my house and garage, plus updating my 80-yr-old electrical supply. They more than beat the competition. The installation was flawless. Special compliments to the crew who were quick and left a clean, well placed set of panels, meters and hookups. They are just what I needed to bring everything up to the current code. It looks beautiful and everything works perfectly. It has been powering the house since August and accumulating a little surplus for the snowy days. It added to the value of my home well beyond the final cost . They also helped coordinate a solar credit to the renewable power program at the Univ. of Utah. A top quality, professional job well done.

Good product and fair price

I received bids from multiple companies and requested one from Creative Energies because someone I know had used their services. After reviewing the bids side by side, I found that Creative Energies had one of the lowest prices and were offering higher quality products than the other bidders. The installation crew that worked on my house was very polite and respectful. After they left, I found a small hole in the wall of my garage that wouldn't have been easily visible to the installer from outside, and it was fixed quickly. There was only one problem with the installation. Due to a miscommunication, the wrong inverter was installed, and I didn't notice the difference. Someone at Creative Energies was reviewing my project and noticed it, and the correct inverter was installed right away. Overall, I have been very happy with the quality of the work and the willingness of the employees to provide excellent service.

Great communication

Creative Energies was very helpful explaining how our solar power system would work. We got a few competing bids. Creative Energies had the best prices. The employees were helpful throughout the entire process. We have already recommended them to our neighbors.
