Coast to Coast Solar

Had a pool solar leak repaired ~$500 (required 2 elbows and a union) started leaking again 1.5 months later. Called and was advised that the warranty was for only 30 days. They indicated that they could come out for a service call of $199 to repair. I've used this company for over 15 years and was very disappointed that they would not stand behind their work.

We purchased our solar pool heater system in 2012. We have replaced a couple of the panels since then but all of the electronics and switches are still working inspite of a 4 foot flood. We have Coast to Coast inspection every year. Today our 11,000 gallon pool is 100 degrees. You do not have to turn it up that high but our hot tub was destroyed in the last flood. We also have a active solar system for the house. Our last electric bill was $30 of which only $12 was for actual electric usage. The balance was fees and minimum amounts. The pool cost for the pump usage is very minimal. I would highly recommend this company.

Coast to Coast Solar is the best. They explain everything, go over the cost, why something needs fixed etc. And they are always prompt! They have my complete confidence.

The office team, Melissa, was great helping with me as I worked through a cost effective solution for my old leaking pool solar panels. Once we decided on a plan she set up the appointment provided the contract, with no surprises, and we were set for installation. The installation team was on time and prepared to remove the deteriorated leaking panels, haul them away and of course install the new HiTec panels. They worked quickly, cleaned up all debris and explained the operation and maintenance of the new system. Overall, could not be more pleased!

UPDATE: The owner Gary called me after seeing this review and apologized and made it right. Appreciate that. So unhappy with them! We've had pool solar heat with them for 11 years. We had our annual check up which we paid just under $200 for. After they left my husband went on the roof and found broken straps and pieces out of place. We called and spoke to Randy who apologized and said they would send them back to do the work that we had paid them for. At this point we have lost all confidence in this company. If we hadn't looked we would have paid for nothing. So unprofessional. We needed new panels and the company they used went out of business so our warranty was no longer good. We asked for our check up money to be returned, at least partially but no response. We decided to go with another company to replace them. The new ones don't need to be checked every year. We have spent 1000's over 11 years for check up's with Coast to Coast. I would not recommend them.
