Catamount Solar

I highly recommend working with Catamount Solar. I planned for years for a solar carport and from the initial inquiry, help locating a spot (not without challenges on a wooded mountain slope), understanding finance options and tax credits, and then constructing an artful structure, this team was amazing. The photos show the new carport in October 2025 and weathering the snow. We have enjoyed a season without power outages, and in this location they were common. Stay local, call these guys!

Catamount Solar was recommended to us by one of the Vermont Housing and Conservation's board members as an honest, reputable and reliable company for planning and installing solar systems. They designed and installed a rooftop solar array to power our home business and I can't be more happy with the outcome. All Catamount team members were professional and knowledgeable from the design to the final connection of this system; and it has exceeded my expectations in generating most of the power needed for our business even when the sun refuses to shine!

We’ve been very pleased with the 12 kW off-grid solar system Catamount designed and installed for us in 2022. It’s been rock-solid—keeping us well powered, with reasonable generator use during dark periods. The Catamount team has been excellent in all respects. Can’t recommend them enough for both their technical expertise and friendly help.

Catamount Solar did a fantastic job installing our solar equipment. They scheduled our installation date for less than 4 weeks after signing the contract. They arrived on time and did the entire job in one day. They were very professional and I am glad we went with a local business. Great company.

Catamount Solar is an excellent company to work with. When I initially reached out, I wasn’t sure if they provided service at my location. I had an immediate response that they would and from there I worked with Jason to determine the best route for upgrading my 20-year-old system. From the design and site inspection to the installation everyone was very friendly and easy to work with. The system is running great. I highly recommend Catamount Solar for their knowledge, expertise and professionalism.
