Exceeded Expectations!
I purchased solar panels for my home in Orlando in from Castaways Energy. Within thirty days of signing the contract the panels were installed, and I’m now ready to connect with Duke. Castaways made the process easy handling the paperwork, permitting and scheduling. I evaluated 9 other solar companies before selecting Castaways. They were not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive. They could, however, work within my time-frame, provide the specific quality products I wanted, a took the time to help me understand how my specific systems would work. Communication with Nathan throughout the entire process was excellent!

Excellent installers and great professional customer service! I love my new Powerwall 3. It powers my whole house and I’m saving lots of money. I love having peace of mind knowing that I will have power regardless of how long the outrage. It’s a great feeling especially having lived through hurricane Andrew without power for 11 days! Thank you Heath, Kevin and Orlando! Great work! The battery is not only powerful but she is gorgeous! I Highly recommend the Castaways team!

Central Florida Solar Installation
Just want to say I do not often write reviews but, after signing a contract to do a Solar System with another provider, they then backed out and said they could not do it for that price. Seemed like a bit of bait and switch. Castaways Energy Elisa, Nathan and all of the install team have done wonderful at coming through with a nice system. Priced right and with the awesome newer Enphase IQ8+ inverters on each panel. The app keeps track of the production. The system and each panel are in view every day showing us the production. I now would like to install a similar system in Ohio but, I find pricing not so good locally and production would be less in Ohio. I have asked Castaways to see if they can work out an Ohio system for me. That will be a tough one but, I am that satisfied if they could make it happen! With some extras for their ride to Ohio. I am pleased with Castaways and the Solar investment. A+. Keep it up Castaways! They are a bright spot for Central Florida's Island of Solar! Thanks!

Great Job
Had my solar panels installed today, job went smoothly and flawlessly. The crew arrived on time and went straight to work, I was kept informed throughout the installation process. Very friendly and knowledgeable crew, they were willing to make modifications upon my request, however when configuring the Envoy box to connect via WiFi it kept erroring out and would not connect, so the company decided to have someone return the next day to troubleshoot the issue. Jonathan return early the next day and still no success, after a while the issue was solved. If your router WiFi has its Security Method set to WPA2 or WPA3 the Envoy box will not connect because the Envoy box is set to NONE. Both the Envoy box and the home WiFi Security Method must be the same for the box to connect to your WiFi. To fix the issue Jonathan ran CAT6 cable from the Envoy box to my router and the problem was solved. I believe there should be a way to change the Security Method settings on the Envoy box via the App or the web browser interface to match the Router WiFi settings. So I thank you Jonathan for your patience and great work, your determination to solve this issue shows that you care about your work and your customers. This was an IT issue not electrical, can't wait to start using this system. Thank you Castaway Energy for a job well done, I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to go Solar.

Solar panel installation - Castaways Energy
Very impressed. From the onset, I spoke with educated technicians and a team who put together the best system for our size home and roof. I am very inquisitive by nature, plus with a computer background, I want to understand everything up front. This team made that happen. From the size, to the design layout, to my endless questions on battery backup vs just panels, their patience was endless and that is truly saying something! The craftsmanship was excellent. We installed not only a large solar panel system, but also a new roof. The coordination with all that entails, went smoothly. They handled everything, even the interaction and paperwork needed to hook up with our utility company (Duke). The best part, is now that we are live and producing energy, I can see how our system is working (even by panel) on an app. We have been known to show off our system to our friends with this app which is updated regularly. We are immensely happy with the new system and highly recommend them to anyone interested.
