Heard nothing but good things about them and the replied back to me very quickly and they made repairs to existing system installed by solcius that would take weeks to get back to me and they where why better priced i would say anyone that doesn't choose Buffalo solar solutions is a moron

I chose Buffalo Solar Solutions because the salesman did a great job explaining every aspect of the process. Answered all my questions and always called back in a timely fashion. Very pleased with the installers and the job they did. Once we were connected to the grid if there was a problem it was taken care of immediately. A salesman came and presented use with a welcome package and explained the whole system and answered all of our questions. Very pleased with Buffalo Solar Solutions.

Update on our last review! West Seneca Code Enforcement was here yesterday (electrical) and today (structural). Absolutely no issues with the installation of the solar unit by BUFFALO SOLAR SOLUTIONS! Shout out to Steve(electrical) and Jeffrey(structural) from West Seneca Code Enforcement!! Great Job! Thank You!! Code Enforcement has been a absolute pleasure to deal with!! The physical installation from start to finish was approximately 3 days!! Inspection was done and approved in two days!! Can't say enough positive about this process and installation. NYSEG is supposed to be here next week for the new solar meter! We will try to update that process as well!

FANTASTIC! 24 panels on the roof & they installed a backup generator as well. Everyone we interacted with was polite/helpful/friendly & the owner of the company even popped in the day of the installation just to introduce himself & make sure we were ok with everything - when was the last time you had work done at your house & that happened?! So to Tyler, Josh, Kyle, Quinn, Other Josh, and everyone else we met or spoke to, I say THANK YOU for a job well done!

Fantastic company to work with, very professional and responsive to customer needs. I had spent several years thinking about installing a system for our home and Buffalo Solar Solutions not only came in with the best price for our installation but had the most professional, least pressure quote. Tyler came to our house for the initial evaluation of our home and his knowledge, professionalism, and the fact that he has actually done installations himself, made me comfortable with the company. Rather than a high pressure sales pitch I felt like I was consulting with a friend on a project we were working on together. Tyler even redesigned our system to accommodate a future electric vehicle. Our installation was completed in 2 days and on time. Our system has been running for almost a year now and has exceeded the production we were expecting. Because of this we are expanding our system to accommodate that electric vehicle this year. Buffalo Solar Solutions has been responsive to all my questions and needs - I can recommend Buffalo Solar Solutions to any potential customers without hesitation.

I could not be happier with the installation of my Solar Panels in June 2017. I wanted a specific layout that was even, balanced and with no conduit exposed. I called three installers, one did not call back, the other insisted I needed panels on my garage because 26 panels could not fit on my main roof. When I called Buffalo Solar and told them that someone else said it could not be done, the salesman drove over that afternoon, climbed on the roof and measured by hand to confirm and ensure me that it could be done. In addition they beat others pricing and put a bigger inverter so I could expand in the future. The installation went great, friendly, courteous crew and very clean.

I looked into leasing solar a couple years back and it was a bad deal for me. So I got the the opportunity to talk with Buffalo Solar Solutions and a little bit to my surprise they made owning solar panels a reality. Josh and Kyle explained everything in a way I could understand , also answering every question .In fact it seemed too easy,so I read as much as I could on the web looking for the drawback,I couldn't find any. The only things the homeowner needs to do is sign a few papers and they do everything else. Then came the day to install the system , which took only a couple days , and their team came over and got to work. The guys that installed it were as nice and courteous as everyone else I met or talked to from the company including the secretary.I don't write many reviews but to some this all up ,I had the best buying experience with these guys and best of all I'll save over 53k over the next 25 years.

From the very first contact with Buffalo Solar, the employees were knowledgeable, friendly,and actually did what they promised. Great customer service is hard to find but they could write the book. I am exceptionally pleased with the company and the solar panels we purchased. Eric answered ever one of our questions and the follow up has been great. They were nice enough to come back and help troubleshoot when the monitoring app was not registering. I can't say enough about Buffalo Solar Solutions. From my first interaction I knew this was the company for me. Tyler (the owner) was my first point of contact. He came to our home for a consultation and to educate us on solar. He spent time explaining everything. He went over our current electric bill, annual usage, how the system would operate, where the panels would be the most optimal, how the inverter worked and where it would be positioned. During that first visit Tyler spent hours discussing how and why solar would work for me and my family. From that point on the rest of the staff got involved. They moved quickly to obtain and submit all required documents, they handled all permits needed, and only asked me to sign documents via my cell phone. I was able to view everything via mobile ( which really simplifies the process) and being as busy as I am was a complete solution to help keep the process running smoothly. The installers were tremendous. They were conscientious and clean. They dealt with three of my children chasing them around asking about a million questions! And even took time out to help me with some wiring issues I was having on my pool pump! What other company shows that type of care for their customers!?!? As the process continued and I kept seeing just how much Buffalo Solar's values aligned with my own I realized that this was the type of company I wanted to work for. After finishing the install ( well ahead of schedule) Tyler and I spoke at length about future employment opportunities. We decided it was the right fit and I'm very excited to join Tyler and his team. The operation and people are world class!

Buffalo Solar Solutions with Tyler Uebelhoer and his crew made the whole solar experience so easy and understandable, from deciding what system we wanted to how big a system we needed and up front cost. along with all the paperwork and rebates we will receive, even how electric company will keep track and show credits of kw on our bill. The whole installation process from Buffalo Solar Solutions was very quick and painless they completed the job like professionals that they are. Even as muddy as it was this March 2017 they improvised to made everything work out for the best. Now June 2017 the system is working awesome and producing kw's as we were told it would. I met Buffalo Solar Solutions at the Buffalo Home Show in March and followed up with them shortly after. Tyler (the owner) came to my house and presented me with an initial assessment. He explained the installation process, the financing options, timeline - everything you'd want to know. The process seemed simple and a no-brainer. I request some changes to the system (based on older electric use history, from when I ran my hot tub over the winter) and got a modified quote which was exactly what I was looking for. Then I looked for any possible reason to NOT use this company. I looked at every online review, Angie's List, BBB - even looked at Tyler personally (Facebook, LinkedIn). I called previous (current) customers. There was nothing bad to be said about Buffalo Solar Solutions or Tyler. If you do this background work, too, you may find it's too good to be true but I can tell you: it's not. This team is nothing but professional. I signed on March 24 and my system was turned on April 28. The installation was done ahead of schedule and everyone I interacted with was very professional. The only problem I had was with the Village of Kenmore who neglected to inform Buffalo Solar about a CO detector requirement and failed to communicate that to me after my first inspection. This delayed turning my system on by about a week, but not Buffalo Solar's fault. We are very impressed with Buffalo Solar Solutions! Like most people, we shopped around first, to see what our options were. I don't want to bash any other companies out there; we will just say that we were very impressed when Tyler responded to us so promptly at every phase of our inquiry and installation, and the 100% transparency Buffalo Solar has about all costs, processes, and expectations. He was very honest and drove the two hours down to talk with us in person, without even knowing if we'd become customers of his. Talking with him was the lowest pressure, least pushy consultation I've ever experienced. We'd done our homework on solar for years and it was clear that Tyler and Buffalo Solar Solutions were being very honest with us and worked with us to make sure we were getting what we expected. Every question we've had, Tyler has responded to very promptly via call or text message. We went with a pole mount system, and they handled everything for us, from the permit process, to applying for a grant, to contacting the utility companies to make sure it all went well. Installation went very smoothly and the crew was both professional and personable. We were also impressed with the warranty offered on the panels and inverted, and their durability ratings. The tech on this stuff has really come a long way! Since the system was only installed yesterday, I obviously can't speak to my experiences long term with solar, but I expect it will be a positive one.

I called Buffalo Solar Solutions in late October 2016 to ask about the basics of installing. The owners, Tyler & Alicia Uebelhoer were over at my kitchen table a few days later. They explained basic questions in an easy, understandable, and non-condescending way. The walking through of basic concepts and the financial options was done with ease and comfort. After a site survey, it was determined my two, nearly 60 year old, electrical panels needed to be replaced and rewired as well. That wasn't a problem for them at all, as they sent out two electricians to fix things up before the install of the actual panels themselves. The electrical work and panel installs were done with no clutter, no trash, and without the usual signs that a large home project was just done. Every employee that I came into contact with was polite, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They even got the job done in late December so I could make sure to claim the incentives on my 2016 taxes. Post install, they have followed up numerous times to check up on the the state of the panels and my satisfaction. I would highly recommend them to anyone that asks.

Less than 3 months after my initial contact with Buffalo Solar my panels were up and producing. This included a few back and forth on the design, panel selection, permitting, etc. The actual installation of my 4.2 kW system took 1 day. Jobs get done quick and well when you're able to deal directly with the owner (Tyler).

Buffalo Solar Solutions did a great job installing my system of 42 panels. They also update my electric service. Helpful doing all the paperwork and dealing with national grid because they forgot to change my meter

This family owned company is fantastic. Excellent knowledge of Solar energy and products. Installation went well even though we had a few hiccups due to weather. Very professional, knowledgeable and hard working crew. Very social-able and very down to earth. Not pushy when promoting their business. Put all the information out and discuss it thoroughly to make sure you understand. Very honest people. It was our pleasure to have found this company and work with them. Buffalo Solar Solutions installed my rooftop panels in November. I'm very happy with the work they did, and how they did it - cheerfully, quickly, and quietly, with minimal mess. They arrived the morning of our first significant snowfall and had to deal with freezing temperatures and wind, too. There was no dirt or snow tracked inside, and they were unobtrusive despite needing to access both the basement and attic. Tyler was easy to contact by phone and stayed in touch throughout the process. (I can't speak to sales as my financing was arranged separately through my union, which was not an efficient procedure).

From our first contact all the way through to the final installation and paperwork, Buffalo Solar Solutions' staff really impressed me. They truly educated me on the merits and details of installing a solar array. The other organizations they have partnered with to handle the finance end of it were excellent. Buffalo Solar Solutions was our first choice, after evaluating multiple installers for the Solar System we installed on our house. I had done a bunch of research on my own, prior to looking at installers, so that I would be educated going into the discussions I was about to have. I chose them for the following reasons, as they not only met, but exceeded all of my expectations/questions throughout the project: Presentation/Initial Sizing/System Layout: Buffalo Solar Solutions was up front with all information and presented every detail of the proposed system with great passion and professionalism. The quality of the materials and information presented, was on par, if not exceeding other vendors I had sat down with. Their assessment of the house was very precise, as Tyler himself climbed up on my roof to take measurements and ensure the layout of the solar panels would meet our expectations and exactly match what was being presented in their proposal. The layout of the panels/conduit/electrical components were placed with such care and attention to detail that it hid the fact we had a solar system, as all conduit follows the outline of the house so it does not stand out. Materials Used: They presented options with some of the top rated panels and inverter equipment on the market. Of the research i did, the panels and inverter system were both in the top 3 of the components out there. We just had a new roof put on the house so i was very concerned with the impact it would have putting bolts into my brand new shingles. Tyler himself showed me the install materials all the way from the mounts, to the panels used. It is installed in a way that I was very comfortable with them installing the system on my roof. They have a great tutorial on their website showing this! Workmanship/Timeline: Tyler and his crew were very attentive to the surroundings of the house and left it in the same condition as when they arrived. The installation crew was very courteous and professional and seemed to take great care when installing the panels and equipment. I have had several contractors in our home and they were by far one of the best. When they needed to do the work on the inside panel the installer kicked his shoes off without me even asking. I have had other contractors scuff my hardwood floors, track in mud on the carpet, and not even care. They worked with a smile and great attitude when they were at our house. All trash was removed and you could not even tell they were there when they were done. They were spot on with the install date/time and even shortened the install time as the guys powered through a long day to get the job done. Customer Service/Knowledge: I had questions and concerns within the first few weeks after my install and they were very attentive to them. Alicia and Tyler are very passionate about the Solar Business and it shows. They have great personal presence and knowledge all the way from the initial contact, through the end of the install and beyond. They are very responsive to all types of communication and made sure I was comfortable with the entire process from start to finish. They are a family owned business with strong community presence and it shows. It does not feel like you are just another job to them! They walked me through the install, all the way to monitoring my system with the provided APP for seeing what energy production I was getting out of the system on a realtime/daily/weekly/yearly basis. I love looking at the app and seeing the investment I made coming back into my pocket. It is so easy to monitor the system even my 8 year old daughter loves launching the app on our iPad and showing me how much energy we have made each day! They also have a great website, with a lot of valuable information as well as some cool drone videos of the installs they have done. Overall I am very satisfied with Buffalo Solar Solutions! Buffalo Solar Solutions in my words is a very professional, and family friendly company. During August 2016 my solar panels were installed by Tyler and his crew and what a great job they did. I my opinion it’s the little things that make the biggest differences. Don’t get me wrong cost is important but what if the costs are within a couple hundred dollars of another company? My experience with Buffalo Solar Solutions has been great. The adventure started off with the owners Tyler and Alicia coming to my home on a holiday weekend. Because my wife and I have two young children and both work full time this was the best option to us. I will not use other the names of other companies but I can tell you that the other two companies could not accommodate my schedule to try and earn my business, so I had to accommodate theirs. Due to the holiday weekend my kids were home Alicia sat on the floor and colored with the kids for about an hour. She would pop up to answer question from time to time, but she made sure my wife and I could pay attention to the presentation without worrying what the kids might be destroying. Over the course of the free consultation I was never asked to sign any contracts, put a deposit down, or if I knew three friends that I could refer as new leads. What did happen is Tyler gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him or text with any questions or concerns. I admittedly texted Tyler /Alicia at 10PM on a couple occasions to ask questions that would randomly pop into my head with the expectation that I would get an answer at some point the following day. Never would I have guessed to get an answer back that night. Because of their no pressure sales technique and the fact that they were about the same cost as some of the bigger solar companies in our area my wife and I signed up for a 10.5KwH system worth of savings that is sitting on my roof (not to mention the increased property value if we ever decide to sell our home). The install took about three days. During that time we had constant communication on the progress of our system and the status of our application for government incentives. The last day of the install my family and the Buffalo Solar Family sat down and had dinner together. These guys are first class all the way from the way they treat your home to the passion and dedication they have for the business.

He handled every aspect of this installation impeccably from start to finish. His communications were timely, complete and accurate. He went above and beyond, even mitigating the impact of a less than stellar roofing job done by a previous contractor. He is an honest man who stands behind his stellar work. He handled every detail of the paperwork with the electric company and the finance company. I was out of state during the installation caring for my elderly mother who had a stroke. Tyler afforded me complete peace of mind enabling me to trust him to access and secure my property making this significant investment virtually stress free. He stood by his estimate. During the installation process, he took the care and extra time to secure upgraded parts needed for my type of housing construction at no cost. When the actual roofing dimensions were found to be less than I gave him, Tyler found smaller more efficient panels to make the system deliver the needed power, again at no extra cost. Tyler even noticed and fixed a problem he noticed with my porch supports done by a previous contractor at no extra cost, because he saw he could help and knew I was operating close to the bone due to my mother’s illness. I can’t say enough about this company and this man. This is a company you can trust, run by an honest business man who knows what he is doing. I wish he was the general contractor on my home construction. If you are contemplating installing solar panels, I wouldn’t consider any other company. He is the best! Tyler even provided me with everything I needed to provide to my tax man to insure I get the as advertised tax deductions, ensuring the system pays for itself. Choosing Buffalo Solar Solutions turned out to be the best personal business decision I ever made.

We had an amazing experience with Buffalo Solar solutions. The customer service was excellent compared to other solar companies and Tyler kept in constant contact with us. Their prices were very reasonable and they were very flexible as far as changes to project and timeline. They did a fantastic job! Would definitely recommend to others.

Since our initial contact with Buffalo Solar Solutions we have experienced a professionally demonstrated discussion regarding,and,achieved the opportunity to take advantage of, a solar energy system. We first received a phone call requesting a meeting to acquaint us with solar energy. At that first meeting they discussed what solar energy entailed, how it would affect our energy costs, and what was available to us in the form of state, federal and energy company rebates to reduce our initial installation expenses. After making a decision to install solar energy we contacted Tyler and from that point on it was a hands free operation, as far as we were concerned. Tyler supervised the installation of all the internal electrical modifications for the system, he supervised the ordering and installation of the solar panels including the reinforcement of part of the roof and he interfaced with the energy company to tie into the electric grid. He also dealt with the town engineer and procured all the required licenses. After that it was all done. l feel that this was a very rewarding experience, I have observed greater confusion having a living room carpet installed than I had during this project. Tyler took great pains in assuring that the panels were properly aligned and balanced and that every aspect of this job was professionally addressed.
